Design Team Monday with Annette

Hi Eyelet Outlet fans and friends!! This is Annette with a couple cards celebrating two of my favorite seasons - Fall and Spring!!

First, is this fall card using one of the latest trendy techniques. I'm talking about the chalkboard craze. Most people create chalkboard art by double stamping with white ink on black paper, but did you know you can create the same effect without stamps? I created mine with the Silhouette Cameo by typing fall words in different fonts and arranging them on the fancy label. I printed the image and then cut out the label with my machine. While creating the image, I intentionally left spaces between words so I could fill in the gaps with Eyelet Outlet brads and bling. Then, I used our new washi tape and ribbon to decorate the card base.

Supplies:
Silhouette Cameo

The next card is more springlike with gnomes living in a tree and tending their gardens. The brads are the perfect size for the gnomes!

Supplies:
Stamps - Lawn Fawn
Prismacolor Pencils
Silhouette Cameo

Fall is in the air

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends. Signs of fall are beginning to show all over our towns. Summer really seemed to fly by this year. I hope you enjoyed some fun in the sun. I love the cooler weather that comes with fall. In the Southbay of Los Angeles, our fall isn't the changing color of the leaves or the balmy mornings but rather the marine layer which covers our city with a blanket of fog where the wind is crisp with the smell of salt from the ocean.
I
It's a perfect time to get started on fall and holiday cards. We have some inspiration to share that will help get you in the card making mood.

Design Team Wednesday with Heather

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards to share a couple projects with you! I recently needed a couple of birthday cards for two of my nephews. I don't know about you, but boy cards are some of the HARDEST ones for me to make! But...Eyelet Outlet brads helped make it easy to make something fun and cute for them! For this first one, I pulled out my Monster Brads:

I used Paper Smooches Word Bubble Dies to create a stencil, then used 3 different colors of MFT inks to sponge them in on a white cardbase. I stamped my sentiments from Paper Smooches Word Salad stamp set, then attached my monsters for each word bubble. Finished off with some Monster Washi Tape on the bottom, to ground the entire design.

I used a similar sketch on my next card, but this time used Puppy Brads:

I stamped my word bubbles using Paper Smooches Fascinator's Stamp set, and used Birthday Buddies as well as Word Salad for my sentiments, stamped with the same colors of MFT ink. My mat was cut with Lil' Inker's Stitched Rectangle Dies, and I added my cute puppy brads near each of the word bubbles before attaching to card base covered with MME pattern paper.

Can't wait to give them to my nephews soon, and I hope they like them! Thanks for stopping by - have a great day!!!

Design Team Wednesday with Dawn

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans!
The Fall Holidays are soon upon us.
Be sure to gear up with sweet treat holders
embellished with the darling products from Eyelet Outlet and Brads!

I used a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe for this
Candy Corn Treat container.  The sentiment comes from Joy's Life: Tastes Punny set.

I used Candy Corn Brads to accent the sentiment.
A bit of raffia adds texture and the feeling of fall, don't you think!

These diminutive brads are great for attaching handles with a bit of flare!

Use Bling Strips to embellish the front...

or back!  I love how they are all lined up.
Squint a bit...do you see the skull face out of "Boo" from Joy's Life:  Halloween Puns
and the die cut shape and bling strips?

And...right after the falling leaves, we'll be looking for the first sign of falling SNOW!
Gasp!  I know, I know!  It's too soon.

But, a pair of Ice Skate Brads mixed in with Pearl brads...

And add a bit of Bling Strips...
We'll all want to enjoy the winter festivities in style!

This card measures 3.75 inches across. So, even though the felt snowflakes
are drifting off the card, it will still fit into a standard invitation envie.
Very clever!!

Thanks for dashing in...
Feel free to see more designs using the funtastic products from Eyelet Outlet
on my blog, Sunnyside Up.

Design Team Monday with Susan

Marvelous Monday, Eyelet Outlet fans!  I'm celebrating my fourth year of  paper crafting and becoming an Eyelet Outlet lover and in honor of my "anniversary" I decided to go back to my crafting roots for today's post!  Four years ago this month I decided to make recipe scrapbooks for my girls as Christmas gifts and my search for cute embellishments for the books led me to Eyelet Outlet!   These days I predominately create cards, but from time to time I still enjoy scrapping favorite family recipes.

First up is this fun Banana Bread recipe that you bake right in the Mason jar!  It made great Christmas gifts for my neighbors last year.  I embellished the page with a row of banana bunches that look good enough to eat!  Then I added an awesome lime green mixer and oh-so-cute measuring cup

Supplies Used:
"Preserves" Cricut Cartridge (title)
"Doodlecharms" Cricut Cartridge (jar)
Fiskar's "Leave It To Weaver" Border Punch
Brown & White Gingham Ribbon
Twine

Next up is a fall favorite - Pumpkin Pie.  As soon as I saw Eyelet Outlet's new pumpkin brads and matching pumpkin washi tape, I knew I had to use them to scrap this recipe!  I also used their new green and beige checked washi tape and orange and green stitched washi tape that coordinates perfectly with the pumpkin brads and pumpkin washi tape

Supplies Used:
"From My Kitchen" Cricut Cartridge (recipe card and spice jars)
"Freshly Picked" Cricut Cartridge (pumpkin sign)
"Country Life" Cricut Cartridge (pie and rolling pin)
Wisk Die Cut from Tessler Stamps (cut from a recycled soda can)
Twine

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Design Team Monday with Susie

Hello Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here with a two new cards to share with you today.

I know everyone is going back to school and I have a very special little friend going back too and I thought I would make her a card to wish her good luck this year. I wanted to help this little girl look studious, so of course I chose a brad from the Glasses collection.  I also added some of our terrific bling for accents.  This green is one of my absolute favorite colors. I used the Echo Park Bundle of Joy-Girl 6x6 paper pad for my card.  The digital image is from Lori Boyd and she is colored with Copic markers.

Now for card #2

After my first card, I was still in the mood for some bling, so I inked up this sweet digital image from Saturated Canary and blinged her out with plenty of Eyelet outlet sparkle.  The big stone on her necklace is actually a clear Jewel Brad.  But the rest are from our bling collections.  I still had out my Echo Park Bundle of Joy-Girl 6x6 paper pad, so I used it again to create this card base too.
You will want to be sure to check out all our great new products in the Eyelet Outlet store.

Take a look right here. I hope you like today's cards and I hope you'll visit me at The Dies Have It.
