Hello EO fans! Today I have a card that is ready for spring! I've used several EO products to make a flowery card that is perfect for spring. This fancy fold is called a Corner Easel Card. It's very simple to make and makes a nice presentation.
For this one I started by covering two white cardstock squares with Rose Washi Tape. In between the strips I applied the red skinny washi tape from the Skinny Holiday Washi Tape. I cut and placed a wreath and then decorated with Rose Brads and White Daisy Brads. I stamped and punched out a sentiment that says Flower Child. A bluebird brad and a red rose brad decorate it and acts as the stopper for the easel part of the card.
The flower and bird brads are very pretty and detailed. The roses look so natural, I half expect them to have a fragrance! The colors and shading are stunning!
Thanks for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!
Happy Friday, friends! Today, I am sharing a card that I had SO much fun creating! I recently hosted a Mystery Craft Along with some of my favorite friends, and I taught them a variation on the Twisted Ribbon Technique. I had so much fun with it, that I wanted to try it with washi tape rather than paper, and this time I used the traditional technique.

Do you know how many styles there are of Eyelet Outlet Pearl and Jewel Brads? Ok, as a matter of fact, I (Lauren) don't know either, but it's A LOT! They range from quite small (5.5mm) to extra large (16mm) though the biggest one shown here is the 10mm Soft Pink Pearl Brad attaching a few Paper Flowers on the medium sized egg. Meanwhile, many styles are available in both silver and gold bezels; there are smooth and bumpy styles; some have fancy edges... and by the time you factor in all of the different colors, there are literally hundreds of variations! But the most important thing for you to know about EO Pearl and Jewel Brads is that they are ALL on sale for just .75c a pack!!! The second most important thing for you to know is that they are all beautiful and useful. In this case, I've decorated Easter eggs with them:
As you can see, we also have quite a few styles of Sticky-Back Bling, as well. On this card and tag we see individual Pearls (there are Jewels as well), Bling and Pearl Strips, and several styles of Fancy Long Bling, and I've hardly scratched the surface of what is listed under "Bling and Sequins" in the EO Store. By the way, there are also FOUR styles of Eyelet Outlet Washi on this card: Bunny Tape, Chevron, Rainbow Dot Washi and my current fave: a wide, rainbow blossom-bedecked style called Flower Petal Tape, from which I have cut out individual flowers and added them with Pearl Brads to the largest egg. Of course they work for lots of other occasions besides Easter, so you should probably head over to the Eyelet Outlet Shop and browse around for a bit!
We all know friends or family that are going through difficult times. Sending a note of encouragement is a great way to let them know you are thinking about them!
In creating this card, I started with a 6x6 base and created stripes using the "vintage desktop" washi tape and patterned papers. I stamped my sentiment and layered on cardstock adding a compass stamped image. Lastly, I embellished with the adorable and new cruise brads. I hope you enjoy and are inspired to send a note of cheer to encourage someone today!

This is an easel card I created for a cute Valentine card.
The pig image is from Pink Ink Designs
and the sentiment from Eyelet Outlet's
stamp set Animal Stamps.
Lots of embellishments used for this card and all
from Eyelet Outlet. First, you have to love those darling pig brads!
And, I can always find a reason to use washi tape especially one that
glitters like this one. I also decided to include more bling by using
a black bling strip on each side of the washi tape.

Hi friends! Have you ever needed an encouragement card and just didn't know what to do? That was me, until I saw the "coming soon" Cactus Brads! I knew that I had the perfect stamp set to pair them with.
Eyelet Outlet probably has the largest and biggest variety of pearl and jewel brads at their store. It's been a staple for years. To celebrate, they are doing a 75% off sale on them which brings the pack price down to .75 cents for a limited time!
My card is inspired by those that use broken and old jewelry to make pretty framed pictures, usually on a velvet background. In this case, I added many colors and styles of brads to a paper egg shape to create a bejeweled egg. I love how it turned out! This could also be mounted in a small shadowbox frame as a decor item. In addition to the fabulous brads, I added two Pastel Rabbit Brads. These are great for Easter. They remind me of candy.
Check out the amazing selection of pearl and jewel brads available at the store.
The third of our brand new Eyelet Outlet brad styles, arriving in the EO Store later this week, are Cruise Brads, featuring lovely large boats, plus colorful red and white life preservers. Here they're set on a background of Ocean Washi, with a small accent of tiny Pearl Brads (which just happen to be on sale!):
Cruise Brads pair perfectly with our other nautical (but nice!) brads, including Sailboat and Lighthouse Brads (the Lighthouses are included here); Ship Wheel Brads, Anchors, Red, White and Blue Stars; not to mention Fish and Fishing Poles; as well as beachy things like Shells and lots more... all available now in the EO Store; the new Cruise, Rose and Cactus Brads will be there shortly!

Looks like vacation time is around the corner although I think
just about everyone I know is scheduled for a cruise soon.
I love these cruise ship brads and the red/white life preserver brads.
These are new to the Eyelet Outlet line sometime this month.
You could use these brads for all sorts of cards.
How about"cruisin by to say hi." Here I used them for a travel card.
Used a sticker at the top and attached the lifer preserver brad. I really
went to town to embellish the bottom with a scalloped border,
life preservers and the Blue bumpy jewels from Eyelet Outlet.

Sometimes we need a card to remind someone that they matter and they care. That's what today's card is all about. I've used lots of Eyelet Outlet goodies on this one.
I've made a nautical scene featuring many of the sea and beach related brad sets carried by Eyelet Outlet. The focus of the card are the new Cruise Brads which will be available in the store soon. This set includes the red and white life rings and the cruise ships. They worked great on my nautical themed paper and portal. It was lots of fun to collage all the fun brads and a little bling together to create this scene.
Happy Friday, crafty friends! I am still working on building my stash of birthday cards, and it is so fun and easy to do using brads, as there are endless possibilities!
I have so many dog lovers in my life, so I made a card for one of them. I started by wrapping a strip of white card stock with Dog Washi Tape. I trimmed the front of my card base down and adhered the washi panel to the inside of the card base. This allows the dogs to show on the front of the card when it is closed, and on the inside panel.
I wrapped another panel of white card stock with the washi tape and I die-cut the letters "h, b, d, and !" from that panel. I adhered the HBD diagonally to a wood-grain kraft panel. I embellished the panel with several of the Puppy Brads and Kennel Mix Brads before adhering to the card front.
I've got a new craft to show you today. Well, it's new to me. Altered paper clips have been showing up on Pinterest for a while now, but I recently gave them a try and I'm hooked on them! I've made mine out of felt and cut with my Cricut Maker and rotary blade. I had all kinds of fun embellishing them with brads from Eyelet Outlet.
Check out the gorgeous new rose brads! There are red, pink and these pink and white variegated ones I've used today. I paired them with a leaf brad and a mini bee brad.
If you wished for some brand new Eyelet Outlet Brads in the next couple of weeks, then you're in luck because we have some beauties coming out, including these gorgeous Rose Brads!
If friends were flowers... I'd pick you!
I have really enjoyed playing with all the fun Valentine accessories that Eyelet Outlet offers! For this card, I used the "Happy Valentine's Day" washi tape to create my striped background. I then stamped my image and layered on another piece of cardstock that I bordered with the purple glitter washi. After coloring my image with alcohol inks, I embellished by adding various enamel hearts and heart brads. Lastly, I layered my card on red cardstock! I hope you enjoy! Making Valentine's is a favorite of mine!
