Lavender Luxuries: The Card & Box Duo

 

Hi everyone! Well, it's pretty cold across the US and Canada but it didn't stop me from putting a little spring into my life. Today's project is a card and matching gift box. Eyelet Outlet paper flowers, brads, and bling bring these projects to life and tie them both together. 

Today's card is a double-flip style. When closed, it's 6" square with paper flowers, bows, and bling. When you open it, the front circles with the flowers flip to the back revealing the sentiment and beautiful wide fancy wide purple strip of glorious jeweled bling.

Because this card is bulky, I made a matching envelope box that is 1/2" deep. Then I decorated it with coordinating cardstock, a purple flower and a bow with heart bling in the centers. Then I used purple strip bling to outline the border of the paper mat on the box. A sentiment finished this box and thanks to EO's products, it's a matching set that perfect for a special gift-giving experience.

Sweet Paper Bows

 

Hello crafty friends - Today I am sharing handmade bows decorated with Eyelet Outlet brads and jewels.  Handmade bows add a personal touch to gifts, and can be tailored to match packaging.

I used bow dies and a bow punch board to create the bows with specialty paper.  The bow centers are adorned with Eyelet Outlet rope pearl brads, pearl brads gold edge, jewel brads gold edge, and square jewels blue/pink.

Nuts About You

Cheerful Spring Teacup

Some cards feel like little keepsakes the moment they come together, and this delicate square teacup card absolutely fits that description. It’s a charming blend of soft colors, layered textures, and—of course—plenty of Eyelet Outlet sparkle.

The foundation of the card is a rich dark purple square, which gives the entire design a sense of depth and elegance. On top of that sits a sunny yellow embossed mat. After embossing, the edges were inked and the raised areas brushed lightly to bring out the pattern. That subtle highlighting adds just the right amount of dimension without overwhelming the softer elements layered above it.

In the center of the card, a pink round doily creates a sweet, lacy backdrop. It softens the bold purple and yellow beneath it and sets the stage for the focal point: a lavender teacup. The teacup was stamped, colored, and fussy-cut before being placed on a small lace doily, giving it a delicate, almost porcelain-like presence.

This is where the magic happens. The teacup becomes a tiny garden thanks to a cluster of Eyelet Outlet embellishments:

Butterfly Moments Gift Tag

 

Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a gift tag decorated with Eyelet Outlet butterfly brads-fall, fancy long bling zig zag, jewel strips, and jewel bling.  Eyelet Outlet has embellishments to elevate gift giving and personalize packaging.

I used a gift tag die to create the base of the gift tag, along with some die cut butterflies.  I decorated the gift tag with the butterfly brads and zig zag bling.  For added sparkle, I used the jewel bling on the butterflies and the jewel strips on the ribbon.

Hearts Galore!

Eyelet Outlet has hearts in every size, color and material for your Valentine projects! Here's just a few examples. 

These two cards feature our heart brads (top) and our enamel hearts (bottom). Our heart brads package comes with red, white, and pink hearts of different sizes. I used all pink for this project and in between the dangling hearts I used pink jeweled gems.

Our enamel hearts come in many colors, too. For this project I used just pink and red ones and I used some red and pink enamel dots in varying sizes in between.

Sweet Magic With Washi Tape

 

Today’s project was such a joy to make—a playful, color‑soaked fractured‑style card built almost entirely from washi tape. There’s something wonderfully satisfying about turning simple strips of tape into a full card front, and this design really leans into that idea.

I began by covering a white cardstock rectangle with Macaron Washi Tape, letting the soft pattern create a sweet, dessert‑inspired backdrop. Once the panel was fully wrapped, I cut a 1 ¾‑inch square of white cardstock and adhered it at an angle so it formed a diamond shape. That little tilt adds so much movement to the layout, and it sets the stage for the next detail: framing the diamond with Skinny Green Dot washi tape. I placed each strip so it extended past the edges at first, then trimmed everything flush for a crisp, clean finish.

To build contrast, I created a second panel from green cardstock—just slightly larger than the macaron layer—and added two rows of the same skinny washi tape along each edge. It ties the whole card together. After mounting the macaron panel on top, I attached the entire piece to a pink A2 card base, which brings out the sweetness of the colors even more.

The focal point is a stamped pink macaron that I colored, trimmed, and popped up on the diamond with foam tape. It adds dimension and charm right where the eye naturally lands. Beneath it, I placed the stamped sentiment, keeping it simple so the textures and layers could shine.

For the finishing touches, I added Pink Glitter Enamel Dots and Green Pearl Bling. They echo the colors already in the card and add just the right amount of sparkle and polish.

Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a winter card decorated with Eyelet Outlet's snowflake brads, bumpy bling, and two colors of the jewel bling.  Snowflakes are so beautiful in real life and on cards.

I used a snowflake embossing folder to add texture to the background of the card.  I cut out snowflakes with white glitter paper to add a little sparkle.  The snowflake brads compliment the die cuts.  The bling comes from the bumpy and jewel bling.

Sweet & Sparkly: A Macaron-Inspired Thank You Card!

 

Who doesn't love a good macaron? Those delicate, colorful treats are a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Today, I've brought that same whimsical charm to my card making with a thank you that's as sweet as it is sparkly!

First, let's talk about the star of the show: EO's macaron washi tape border. A soft strip of pastel border , adorned with tiny, perfect macarons in all their glory sets a fun and charming tone, making this card feel like a little box of confectionery happiness. It pairs perfectly with the patterned paper used for the card front.

Next up, I've added a touch of warmth and sophistication with Coffee Brads. These aren't just any brads; they evoke cozy coffee shop vibes, perfectly complementing the sweet treats. They add the perfect focal point to the design.

And because every good card needs a little sparkle, I've incorporated glitter enamels in pink, gold, and blue. These little dots of shimmer are like tiny jewels scattered across your card. The pink adds a playful pop, the gold brings a touch of elegance, and the blue offers a cool, calming contrast.

Fitness Is My Passion

My favorite type of card to create is one that makes the recipient smile - or better yet, laugh out loud, so if you received a bottle of wine from a friend or family member for Christmas,  I know you'll want to send this funny little thank you note. 

I used Eyelet Outlet wine brads to create this fun card. Each package contains bottles of red and white wines as well as glasses of wine. The corkscrew images are from the Cricut image library.

Susan's Top 5 Favorites of 2025

2025 was a difficult year for me in many respects, but thanks to my faith, family, and friends, I got through it. This card rose to the top of my favorites list because it's been sort of my motto this year and because I've always loved our little pig brad! And here he is flying high in the clouds, against all odds!

I enjoyed making a number of hoosier cabinet cards last year and Eyelet Outlet products took all of them over the top! I especially loved this potting bench version featuring our daisy brads, cactus brad, and garden tool brads.

The popular Eyelet Outlet leaf brads have long been a favorite of mine and I loved using the regular size as well as the mini ones to embellish this darling water color image of children jumping into a pile of fall leaves. And the rake leaning against the tree is a real bonus!

We rolled out our  dancing hippos in 2025 and they were such fun! Pair them with a few balloon brads, and you've got a happy way to celebrate a special day!

This was a fun birthday card for my brother. The "little cooler" brads are so great! I used some of awesome wide grass washi tape and a sun and cloud brad, too.
