I used a gift bag die to create the bag.  Then I added wine washi tape, wine brads, and pearl bling.  I used winter quicklet eyelets to reinforce the holes for the ribbon handles. The gold pattern tissue elevates the bag even further.

Then Sings My Soul

 My thoughts turned to my Dad the other day and I fondly remembered how he whistled the lovely old hymn, "How Great Thou Art" as he worked splitting and stacking fire wood. And since I have heard that the angels are near when cardinals appear, this card practically made itself. 

Surrounding the first words of the chorus is a simple wreath that I embellished with Eyelet Outlet music note brads. To the pine branch, I added one of our pinecone brads and a cardinal brad. The enamel heart brought it home. ❤

This week, instead of my photo at the bottom of the post, here's a picture of Dad. Most likely he was whistling in this photo.

You Melt My Heart

Today's card celebrates summer with ice cream treats, lemonade, and hearts. What a perfect way to tell that someone special that they melt your heart!

I love the fresh yellow and bold red colors in this card. EO brads and bling really bring it to life.The Heart Brad is the perfect pop of white on the popsicle. The Lemonade & Fruit Brads are another reminder of the perfect summer drink. Red Jewel Bling adds another perfect pop of red on the white mat. 

 The finished card with all it's EO embellishments really sings of warm summer days, sweet treats, and the tart taste of summer lemonade.

Baked With Love

I used a happy die and birthday stamp to create the greeting.  I used Distress Oxide Ink to shade the shadow for the word Happy to make it look like baked cookies.  Then I decorated the cards with cooking brads, mixer and cup brads, and canister brads.

Wise Owl

 This might sound a little sarcastic, but I think my wise older brother can handle it! I haven't used the Eyelet Outlet sketched owl brad very much and I don't know why! He's so cool!

I wanted some more dimension and shine, so I added some of our silver glitter stars and dots to the night sky. The night sky background as well as the branch are from the Cricut image library.

Oh Hello!

 Today's card is inspired by a visit with a friend to the nail salon. It felt like such a girlie girl morning that I decided it would be fun to use that theme in today's card.

I started this one with a preprinted frame that said Oh Hello! It was included in a paper pad and the girl in her sunglasses was included in a patterned paper. I fussy cut her out and added a crown from the Crown & Tiara Brads. Then I added the Sun & Cloud brads, the Women's Eye Glass Brads, and the Shoe & Purse Brads.

It was a lot of fun to create this little diva card. The EO store has just the brads to make my card really pop. I think I'm going to give it to the friend who invited me along this morning. I think she'll enjoy it.

You’re A Cut Above

You're going to want to grab a few law mower brads while they're still available! I used one on this project to let a great dad know that he's a "Cut Above the Rest!" 

I chose a big bold font and then sliced the word, "Dad," from a grass digital pattern in Cricut Design Space and added the lawn mower brad to the word. 

Eyelet Outlet's lovely colored daisy brads in the yard added a bright a cheerful touch. The package contains pink, purple, and yellow daisies.

Happy Father's Day

 It's soon Father's Day so I decided to get a few weeks ahead and get a card done for my husband. Masculine cards can be a little challenging but with EO products, it's easy breezy!

This card features Mustache, Eyeglass, and Star Brads. Black Glitter Enamel Dots help to balance the other elements. I placed them on the card but also on the vellum sentiment. The layered look is a nice effect.

I used a fish tank stamp and die set to create the fish tank.  I layered patterned cardstock behind the fish tank to resemble bubbles.  Then I filled the fish tank with fun fish brads, shell brads, sea shore brads, and blue jewels (bubbles).  I added blue enamel dots in the corners.

You're so AL "LURE" ING!

Why wait for Valentine's Day to send your sweetie a love note?! Let them know how hooked you are today with this punny fishing themed card. 

Use one of Eyelet Outlet's fishing lure brads to convey how alluring they are to you and carry the theme forward with a wide mouth bass brad on the line. The fishing pole I used is from the Cricut image library, as is the little pond. I used one of cat tail brads from our frog brad set. It wouldn't be a love note without a heart, so I added a little black enamel heart.

This month, in my (Lauren's) family, we have two nieces graduating from college, and a nephew graduating from high school. Which called for a single flexible design that could be customized for three different personalities. As it turns out, I have *NO* graduation stamps or dies. (HOW is that possible?!)  Some days we all feel like we've had enough of crazy! Here's a funny little card that will cheer someone who can relate.

For this card I had planned to put two aliens in the space ship, but I realized I only had one left in my stash, so I opted for his buddy, a one-eyed monster brad and I think it worked great! I added a little red bling to the space ship and they're ready for take off! But will they return for the little girl who is begging to go?

Go Jump in the Lake!

Here's hoping that some of you are enjoying the lake scene this Memorial Day weekend. My card celebrates jumping in the lake as something that's lots of fun - not an insult. I love this idea because jumping in a lake is one of the joys a lot of us have experienced in our lives, at many different ages.

This card starts with a pre-printed tag that I matted and then put on a torn mat before putting it on a teal card. Then I added the brads and enamel brads to make it extra fun. It's a perfect way to celebrate the lake life.

I used a shopping bag die to create the shopping bag.  Then I added shopping related brads all around the card as if the items are coming out of the bag including the shoe & purse brads, dress brads, and woman's eye glass brads.  I decorated the bag with a flower jewel and added pink pearls as further embellishment. I added some tissue inside the bag, if you look close you can see Chanel on the tissue.
