I couldn't wait to work with them on a card. And here it is:
I wanted to use several brads, so I thought this Three Circle Flip Card from the Silhouette store would be perfect. Those circles are just the right size for the cats!
Not being a yoga enthusiast myself, I wasn't sure how these yoga poses should be situated, so I did some research and discovered the first pose is the Balancing Stick, the second is the Lotus and the third is the Half Moon. Here's a closer look:
I wanted to find some Asian themed digital paper, and I opted for this pattern from Panda Zen by Lliella Designs and had a perfectly matched card stock. Just like it was meant to be!
When I finished with the card front, I felt the colors were a bit too cool for the little lotus cat, so I took my Gold Wink of Stella and dotted the centers of the leaves. Once I did that, all was harmonious. ;-)
For the inside flap, I wanted the sentiment relating to yoga, so this is what I finally decided upon. I think it works...it might even hold up to someone who knows a thing or two about yoga.
I printed it on Smokey Slate card stock in dark gray using the Ancient Script font.
I guess that wraps it up except to say, "namaste"!
Who provided the inspiration for these cards? Katy did!
