The set includes two sizes of aliens...it just made me think of a Mr. & Mrs. Martian and from there the idea for my card came to me immediately.
I did a search for free outer space images and came upon this one...it was the perfect background for my spaceship. I sprayed it liberally with Shimmer Spritz before adding it to my card base of Sweet Sugarplum.
The spaceship was cut using a file purchased in the Silhouette store. I cut several planets in complementary colors and placed them strategically around the spaceship, being sure to leave space for the "conversation" taking place. Does it sound familiar to you?
I thought the sentiment inside was just perfect and so true...and it makes me smile. Here's a picture of it, matted on another panel of the outer space image.
That's it for this card. I imagine this ET had better phone home to let the family know they're going to be late ;-)
Who provided the inspiration for these cards? Katy did!
Your background looks great with those colors. Fun brads.
