Leslie's Favorite 2022 Projects

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing three of my favorite projects created this year with Eyelet Outlet products! I'm thrilled to have been invited to participate in this fun tradition that was started last year!

I love fun folds and Christmas is my favorite holiday, so it's no surprise that two of my three projects are Christmas cards and two are fun folds created with my Scan N Cut! The first fav in the line-up is my Merry Christmas Cardinals card featuring our Cardinal Brads, Cardinal Profile Brads, Female Cardinal Brads and Clear Jewel Bling Strips.

The card in the number two spot is my Happy Father's Day Lantern. This box card folds flat for mailing and features our Deer Brads, Pine Tree Brads and Sun/Cloud Brads.

And the final card in the line-up is my Heaven & Nature sing card, a Christmas card in traditional red and gray that features our Cardinal Brads and Cardinal Profile Brads along with Clear Jewel Bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!

Susan's Top 3 Favorite Birthday Cards

This week the Eyelet Outlet Design Team is bringing you our top 3 favorites from earlier posts.  I decided to focus on my favorite birthday cards, because every month of the year, I need at least one birthday card for a friend or family member.

For this 'Hippy Birthday" card I used an Eyelet Outlet hanger brad, enamel dots, pearl bling strips, and skinny glitter washi tape.

These birthday candles were so quick and easy with Eyelet Outlet skinny washi tapes!  The hardest part was deciding which of the many beautiful tapes to use.  Each candle is topped with some teardrop bling.

No matter how hard I try, I'm  occasionally "in hot water" and need a belated birthday card. I loved this use of the lobster brads so much I almost wanted to send a birthday card late on purpose!  I also added a little pot holder brad to the lid of the pot.

Thanks for joining us on our trip down memory lane this week as we each bring you our favorite posts from the past.

Lauren's 2022 Favorites

I'm having a lot of fun (and feeling VERY inspired!) seeing all the "Favorites" from our fabulous Eyelet Outlet Design Team. Today it's my turn. Please note that the caption under each picture is linked to the original post on the EO Blog, where you can find individual links to every single product I've used in the Eyelet Outlet Store.

This was one of the biggest projects I did in any category this year. It was arguably a CRAZY thing to make, which is probably why I love it so much! In a related vein, I made a Rainbow Brad Book, where I arranged all my favorite EO Brad Styles by color. If you happen to visit a crafty trade show next year, look for both of these in the Eyelet Outlet Booth!

Diecuts and brads are wonderful together, and this Birthday T-Shirt Card is a pretty good example of that. By the way, I have additional ideas for this set of T-Shirt Infinity Dies and I've also got a brand new set of Balloon Dies as well, so get ready for some BIG Brad Cards in 2023!

Being a Cancerian, of course I love the ocean in real life and also in papercrafting form. This card features the Starfish from our Sea Shore Brads, a pair of handsome Seagulls, loose Pearl Bling and a beautiful Ocean Tape with foil accents. But Eyelet Outlet has LOTS of other beachy goodness like FishSandcastlesShellsFlamingosPalm Trees and more!

is excited to kick off another brad-and tape-centric year!

Michelle's Top 3 Favorites!

Today I am sharing my top 3 favorite cards!

I chose this Nautical themed "SEAS"son's Greeting Christmas card for a couple of reasons! First, it is in honor of the many, many Christmases I celebrated in South Florida! I was born and raised in Florida and only within the last 15 years have celebrated this holiday with an actual "winter" season! And secondly, I love this card because I think I used the most adorable Eyelet Outlet products! I used 9 accessories on this card! You can see all the details of this card on blogpost November 8, 2022.

My second favorite card is the "back to school fuel" card from blog post August 30,2022. Anyone who knows me, knows I love coffee! So I really enjoyed creating this coffee themed card! Cutting out the Coffee washi tape to create the word "teachers" was fun too!

Last, but not least. For my 3rd favorite card, I selected "Joy to the World" from blog post October 11, 2022. I chose this card for not only the lovely products I used, but for the message it represents! Because of Jesus's birth we can celebrate Christmas! I hope this Christmas season you have as the song says, "prepared Him room in your heart and home" and you "rejoice at the wonders of His Love".

Thank you for stopping by this Christmas season! I have created a shopping list below for Eyelet Outlet!

Elizabeth's Top 3 Favorites!

Today, as we close out 2022, I am sharing my top three favorite
projects that I made with Eyelet Outlet products.
The actual Eyelet Outlet materials used are listed at the end.

Santa Down the Chimney

This card I really liked with the Stanta hanging from the chimney. I could
not pass up the Santa Claus brads and boots. I also loved how the
poinsettias also fancied up the mantlepiece.

Holiday Tags

I loved these tags and could not believe how they worked up so nicely
with washi tape and the fancy Eyelet Outlet gems I used.
These tags really turned out festive and I made some extras
to attach to packages for special friends and hostess gifts.

I selected this card (which I adore) because of the cute pilgrim hats.
On my blog I received many comments especially about the
pilgrim hat brads.

Janet's Top 3 Favorites!

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans! This week the design team will be posting their top three favorite cards of the year. I'm kicking it off with mine. Here we go!

First is a Happy Father's Day card that's just perfect for the Dad that likes to be on the lake. I love the fishing and fish brads that I used on this card. Read how this one was put together and the products that were used on the blog post HERE.

It's always fun to come up with creative cards for the hard working teachers in our children's lives. I think this is one of my favorites because it includes so many EO animals and wide road washi tape. Each animal is different and special, just like our children. You can read how this was made along with a product list HERE.

Here's a closer look at all the fabulous animal brads!

Last is this fun beach card featuring EO seashells, flip flops, wine, water, and floral washi tape for a matching bag and swimsuit. This just makes me want to go somewhere warm in the worst way! There's lots of winter left but this gives me something to look forward to. You can read about how this was made and the products used HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!

A Christmas Scene

Hi crafty friends!  Today, I am sharing a fun card that is WAY outside of my wheelhouse, but I had so much fun creating!

I began with a piece of patterned paper that I have been dying to use.  I inked up the edges with my ink pad, and then I added several fun winter-themed brads (listed below) to add some dimension and fill in the white space.   Lastly, I created a sparkly panel to go behind my sentiment with glitter washi added a sparkly snowflake in the corner!
I love how the brads stand out against the additional images on the patterned paper!

Merry FIT-mas & Happy New REAR!

My husband and really enjoy our fitness programs at the local YMCA.  We've made many friends and especially appreciate the encouraging and helpful staff, so I made them a special Christmas card this year.'

This sentiment from Cricut Design Space absolutely cracked me up when I saw it and I knew it was going to be perfect for their card. I added a little holly brad to the front.

This is called and accordion fold card.  Here it is fully opened. I used a fitness themed digital paper from azredhead Happy Heart Studios on Etsy called "Be Happy, Be Well" and other images from Cricut Design Space.

But the star of the show were the brads I used.  In all my years as a member of Eyelet Outlet Design Team, this was the first time I ever used the sneaker brads on a Christmas card!

Sweets are one of my weaknesses, so I added a few candy cane brads.and a gingerbread man.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday from Eyelet Outlet!

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree...

...with a fun ornament card! Ornament shapes make a wonderful home for pretty much ANY style of Eyelet Outlet Brad you love, but our Poinsettia Brads look especially pretty on a background of tiny flowers (some diecut from our Sparkle Red Glitter Tape!) and foliage. Music Note Washi instantly puts a holiday tune into our head, and a stamped plaid background set off by mats of more Sparkle Red Glitter Tape really shines!

Whether you are decorating for Christmas or celebrating Hanukkah, I hope your week will be full of light, love and laughter!

is currently adding ACTUAL ornaments to that tree!

It's a family tradition...

Do you have family Christmas traditions?

With Christmas only days away, it is time to start our Christmas goodie baking! We love baking together and making memories as a family! I thought this 6x6 card would be a cute "invite" to come bake Christmas cookies! I started with the adorable gingerbread cookie image and colored her in using alcohol markers. I added the matte red enamel dot for her holly berry and green glitter enamel dots to her dress for additional sparkle! I created a banner for the bottom using the black glitter washi to border my "cookies" sentiment. Lastly I embellished with the adorable gingerbread brads!
I hope you have time this holiday season to make memories that will last a lifetime!

Penguin Party

Here is some fun with a penguin party. I think the little igloo must
be where the party is tonight. For this card I stamped the igloo and the water
using images from Peddlers Den. Then I water colored the scene and used a
sentiment which placed perfectly in the sky. For the frame I used washi tape from
Eyelet Outlet & Brads, The brads also from Eyelet Outlet & Brads featured the snow tree
and, of course, the penguins. Finally, I added a bit of washi to the corner and gems.
Tex Snow and a little glitter rounded out the scene.

The Eyelet Outlet shopping list for today is
Penguin Brads
Snow Tree Brads
Color Wheel Washi
Bumpy Bling (clear)

Thanks so much for joining me today.

Joy Sparkle and Shine!

Are you feeling a time crunch? Today's card is another "make it quick" card. Since you don't have a lot of time, let me get to the details on how this one was made!

I started with a premade cardstock sticker that said Joy. I knew this would be a great title for a card and built the rest of it around this. I created a white card base and then went to work adding interest and designs using washi tapes. This is a super fast way to create great backgrounds. I used Tree Winter Washi Tape on the top and bottom and then two strips of Skinny Striped Washi Tape after that. Next I used Green Patterned Glittered Washi tape to create a background for the Joy sticker. Then I placed alternating Red and Clear Jewel Bling Strips. On the ends of three of those strips, I place Holiday Light Brads. For the last step, I put double-sided foam tape behind the Joy sticker and placed it on the card. The end result is an elegant card full of shine and sparkle!

Gingerbread Bakery

It's getting pretty close to Christmas and this is when I start creating cards I need for last minute gifts and people I haven't yet gotten to. This card took less than 15 minutes to make which is really fast for me. With a good layout and various premade or quick elements, you can create something that looks like it took a lot longer to make.

To start this one, I created a kraft card base and scored the front on each side to help fill in the space and give the card base a design. Then I placed strips of foiled Christmas Stripe Washi Tape in the middle to add a quick background. I have some large cardstock stickers and I chose this one to place at the bottom of the card. You can use any premade element you might have for this. Then I added Gingerbread, Snowflake and Canister Brads to tie the embellishments to the sticker.

Just like that, I was able to create a great card in about 15 minutes. Perfect for the holiday crunch time!

Penguins Love Christmas, Too!

Hello friends!  Do you love penguins as much as I do?  I could sit and watch them waddle and play all day long!  Additionally, they provide great lessons in leadership and teamwork.

For my project today, I used a simple card sketch that is full of layers.  I used the Glitter Black Washi Tape to create a panel.  I then used the Penguin Washi Tape to create my next panel.  It is so easy to add washing tape over a strip of card stock and you have a perfect embellishment for your card.
To complete my card, I made a loopy bow from my absolute favorite ribbon.  This ribbon is SO old.  I bet I have had it for 20 years, but it is perfect for Christmas projects!  I added a Pine Tree Brad to the bow and adhered it to my card front.
