Birthday Sheep Loves Pink

Happy Friday Everyone!

This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations  and today is the last day of my Eyelet Outlet and Brads term. Six months has flown by and it was a pleasure showcasing so many different products. I know I will continue to use a variety of the products and hope you will add some to your collection.

I used a few My Favorite Things products but really want to focus on the vellum and pink gems. Since adhesive will typcially show through vellum I applied small dots of glue behind the gems. Now you can't see any residue and the vellum is securely adhered.

I added Wink of Stella clear glitter to the MFT sheep.

It's a Wrap!

The Design Team and I have sure enjoyed bringing you our Christmas in July posts this month!  For our final post in this series, we thought we "wrap it up" with a focus on gift wrapping for the holidays with Eyelet Outlet's amazing products!

First up here's a easy tag featuring one of our best sellers, the beautiful Cardinal Brad perched on a pine branch from Cricut's 3D Floral Decor cartridge.  I flipped when I found this wrapping paper at Hobby Lobby after Christmas last year because it looked as if it was made for my tag!

Next is a simple tag using one of our sweet little Snowman Brads.  I attached him to a chipboard circle that I inked up in red which really added dimension to the tag.  And don't forget to add our eyelets to your tags!  They come in lots of sizes and colors!

Eyelet Outlet's Holiday Brads & Washi Tapes are amazing, but here's a little Christmas tag that features our Rifle Brad and our Glasses Brad!  I had so much fun putting this "Christmas Story" themed tag together!   I used the Cricut Explore to draw the crack for the glasses.   

I thought this grumpy looking Santa from Cricut's "Santa's Village" cartridge was perfect! He reminded me of the Santa that Ralphy visits in the movie. 

And lastly, this cute little Santa Suit from Cricut's "Christmas Cheer" is embellished with Eyelet Outlet Black Pearl Bling for buttons and then hung on an Eyelet Outlet Hanger Brad.

No one ever has to ask me (Lauren) twice when it comes to fancy giftwrapping, lol! it's one of my favorite ways to use my Eyelet Outlet goodies!

I love gift bags., because they're sooooooo convenient and easy to customize--especially if you happen to have lots of lovely Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape, which I do. Sometimes I decorate a little panel to go on top of the bag, but this time, I've applied the tapes right to the bag itself. I've used Merry Christmas Washi, Wide Tree Tape, Music Note Tape, Merry Christmas Skinny Tape, Heart Washi (not all the tapes have to be official "holiday" ones; music notes and hearts add to the vibe of any celebration, don't they?) and strips of Skinny Washi Tape in pink and green.

Once I had a nice base for the bag, I thought I'd add a tag; or in this case, a cluster of tags. I chose three different sizes and shapes of tag to combine, and I made one of them from a holiday themed transparency, so that you could see through it. I decorated the tags with a sweet stamped snowman from Pretty Pink Posh, to whom I've given a smart Bowler Hat, Pearl Bling Eyes, Tiny Brad Buttons. Then I added... you guessed it... more tape: Heart Washi, Holly Tape, Merry Christmas Washi, Skinny Heart Tape and a few more shades of solid color Skinny Washi Tape, some of which I overlapped, to get even more variety of widths!  

I couldn't resist adding a small Paper Flower with a Candy Cane Brad before I attached the whole cluster to the bag's handle with a bit of twine and called it done.

I am so happy to be able to join in the final Saturday in July with a couple of tags I made with some Eyelet Outlet products.

On the tag on the left I (Barbara) used a super cute snowman brad and a wreath brad, since I didn't have snowflakes or enough white enamel dots I used shiny blue enamel dots

 On the tag on the right I used silver animal print washi tape for the background red rhinestone swirly bling for the ornaments on the tree and a super cute sock monkey with a santa hat on. He is on clearance if you want to stock up on your Christmas sock monkeys

Sometimes...

Hi there!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards spending some quality time with you today!

These doughnuts look good enough to eat, don't they?  Alas, they're Doughnut Brads so you can't eat them, but you can sure make some cute projects with them!

And, even if I do say so myself, I think this card is cute!  I used a card base I purchased in the Silhouette store as I wanted my card to have that eyelet scallop across the bottom to play off the doughnuts.

From there, I added the eyelet circle to the middle and cut the center hole from the front of the card.  So, you're actually peeking into the card to see that full plate of doughnuts.

I created a mat using digital patterned paper from the Puppy Love kit from NitWit Collections.  The greeting was made using the CK Frosting font.  I printed it on a banner with stitching across the top and bottom and matted it on a larger mat of rose.

When you open the card you see the doughnuts on the plate cut from Glossy White paper (same as photo paper) and the sentiment, which I hope makes you smile.

The sentiment was typed using the same font using the text to path option in my Silhouette.

I have a curious question for you.  When you type what is sitting on the plate, do you spell it as donuts or doughnuts?  I normally type the first version, but because it was listed the other way in the Eyelet Outlet store, and because that actually is the correct version, I used that.  But it was a struggle, LOL

You're a Llama Fun!

During July, while the Tour de France race is being run, the Tour de Fleece is also happening!  Spinners, crocheters and knitters participate in this annual challenge, and as a spinner, I joined three teams this year (for my Turkish spindle, my Trindle, and my wheel, for those who are curious).  :)

When I saw this llama set in Orlando at the Scrap Expo, I just had to have it!  And yay, it is the perfect companion for Eyelet Outlet's llama brads!  

I sponged in a cloudy sky and colored a desert landscape with Copic markers, adding a sun and cloud brad to help set the scene.

I inked only part of the sentiment, filling in the word llama with a llama brad instead.  "You're a llama fun!"  He's so cute!  My fiber-loving friends would appreciate a card like this one!   

Eventually I am gonna get around to processing and spinning some llama fiber!  I have some in my stash! 

I LOVE Camping Brads!

Those who knows me well know that I am not wild about camping, however I am CRAZY about Eyelet Outlet's Camping Brads!  This set of brads make the perfect embellishment for camping layouts, but as you'll see from my projects today, our Camping Brads are multi-taskers!

First up, here's a "punny" birthday card for that friend who might be a little stressed out about their birthday!  My background is a print-then-cut image from Cricut's Enjoy The Seasons cartridge with a little modification.  A Sun Brad from Eyelet Outlet's Sun & Cloud set looks amazing in the sky and "Two Tents" from the Camping Brads serve to deliver the pun!

Next up, the Lantern included in the Camping Brads set shines bright on this card.  The little hand holding my lantern is from Cricut's Block Party cartridge.  Eyelet Outlet's Swirl Bling was just the ticket for casting light from my Lantern Brad and a Yellow Enamel Heart tops off the card.  

The possibilities are endless with Eyelet Outlet Camping Brads!  How about another birthday card using the this little hotty - the Camp Fire Brad included in the set.  

Oh, I've got S'More for you!  Let's roast a couple of marshmallows over the Camp Fire Brad! These marshmallows come from Cricut's Camp Out cartridge and the large Eyelet Outlet Enamel Heart tops off this card.
