MEOWY Catmas!

The designers and I have had so much fun late recently with the newest cat brads in the Eyelet Outlet litter. You saw these little guys peeking and climbing all over our Halloween projects, but you'll find fun ways to use them all year round. Today I've got one of them mischievously climbing up the Christmas tree!

I created this tag in Cricut Design Space and used the slice tool to cut the little paw prints into the tree.

I added some enamel dots to the tree. These are from the red/green holiday pack. I also used one of our kitten brads at the base of the tree. He looks like he's ready for trouble with his little paw in the air, doesn't he?

Thanks for stopping in today and we hope you're having fun using Eyelet Outlet products in your holiday projects. Be sure and tag us when you share your projects on social media!

Pop Up Christmas Cards

Today I’m sharing two pop-up cards with a Christmas theme. The stamp and die sets I used are from Diamond Press. In the first, Santa is peaking out of the chimney on a house roof. When the tab is pulled, he pops out.

The second card has an elf and reindeer that are busily wrapping presents.

When the tab is pulled, the elf pops out.

Here are the insides of the cards.

I decorated these cards with several brads and bling from the EO store.

Christmas Decorating

Nothing can stop our little gnome brads from decorating their tall Christmas tree! They're using a ladder I cut on my Cricut to carry the string of lights and the star to the top.

I used red, green, and clear jeweled bling for the lights and added a tree ornament on the floor near the box.  One of our gold star brads will look great as a tree topper.

We hope you're finding fun ways to use our products on your holiday cards. Share and tag us when you post them to social media!

Thanksgiving Wine Tag

Hello EO fans! This year my family have been invited for Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house. I was thinking about how to thank them for this and it came to me that I could dress up a bottle of wine nicely with a wine tag decorated with EO brads and bling. So - that's just what I did!

I made the hangtag using a stitched slimline die. It turns out that this is the perfect size to make a wine tag. I scored the top of metallic rose gold piece and applied two pieces of fall patterned papers to the top of the scored piece and to the bigger bottom piece. I cut these to leave a 1/8" border on all side. I used a punch to make the hole for the wine bottle neck.

To decorate this, I stamped and cut a Thankful sentiment, made a twine bow and added a leaf and Pilgrim Hat pre-printed die cuts. Then I added all the EO goodness. I tucked a Rooster Brad in near the top of the hat. I also added Leaf Brads, Sunflower, and Squirrel Brads around the hat. At the top of the tag, I added an Acorn Brad. As a final touch, I added clear bling and small white pearls.

I am so pleased with this tag, I am definitely going to make some Christmas wine tags. I think they'll turn out beautifully.

Fall Days Scrapbook Page

We share a lot of cardmaking projects here at Eyelet Outlet, but don't forget that our products are fabulous embellishments for scrapbooking!

I created this page in Cricut Design Space. I used felt and burlap to create the scarecrow and embellished his hat with a stitched flower brad.

For the title I added a few of our popular leaf brads in fall colors as well as a scarecrow brad. No fall page would be complete without a few of our wonderful pumpkin brads.

Now I just need to add this year's fall photo of the grandkids!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Joyous Wreath

Hi everyone! I love wreaths and based on how many I see on card making sites, lots of others like them too. Since I am making cards for Christmas mailings, here's my first wreath card of the season. I had a lot of fun making this and of course, EO brads and washi tapes were used to make it extra pretty.

This is a 6 x 6 square card. I started by adding a gold embossed background panel. Then I used a set of dies and paper molds to create the poinsettias, holly leaves, greenery and pinecones. I made the Joy word by covering white cardstock with two washi tapes from the EO store before I cut them out. I cut out another white set of words with white foam and glued the two letters together. This gives the letters a chunky look quickly.

After all the prep work was done, I pulled out several brads and gems and got to work arranging the wreath and decorations. The final result is one of the nicest wreaths I think I've ever made.
