A Little Note - Big Thanks!

 

Hello EO fans! I'm excited to be here today to show off a card using some of Eyelet Outlet's versatile products. I made this card using a quilting die. Before I cut the pieces out, I covered white cardstock with three different washi tapes. I used Flower & Feather Washi Tape, Blue Dot Washi Tape, and Strawberry Washi Tape. Then I cut the die out three times so that I could mix the pieces together to get the quilted look you see here. I picked three complimentary colored and patterned washi tapes

Once I inlaid all the quilt pieces, I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and attached it to the card. The final touches are a Blue Glitter Enamel Dot, a Red Heart Brad and a Giraffe Brad. Love it!

Bright and Beautiful Birthday Card!

By using scrap pieces of cardstock and adding some awesome Eyelet Outlet embellishments, I was able to create this cheery birthday card in a matter of minutes.

 

The outside is framed with Blue Pearl Jewel Strips while the sentiment and presents are surrounded by multiple different stippled and jewel brads.

Happy Birthday from the Whole Pack

These little dog head brads from the Eyelet Outlet clearance section are ALL so darn cute!  The one with the long snout really caught my eye today and I laughed out loud at his long years seemingly flying in the wind.  

What else could I do except put him and his friends into a car riding down the road with the windows down!  I used some Eyelet Outlet road washi tape and also our gorgeous wide sky washi tape for this project.  Don't forget to put that sky washi tape in your cart when you check out!  You'll find a hundred uses for it and you'll love the way it feels!

Garden Trio

Spring has emphatically sprung in the Northeastern United States, so luckily there are Eyelet Outlet Brads (& Washi Tape!) to celebrate all of the best aspects of this bloomin' beautiful season!

Peaceful Butterfly

Hello EO fans! I hope you've had a great weekend so far! Recently, I saw a die that cut a butterfly into card front. While I don't have that die, I do have a Cricut machine and I found a butterfly pattern which I used to create a card pattern that very much mimicked the die I was admiring. 

The front of this card is a big window with the butterfly wings connected to the edges of the window only. On top of it, I attached another butterfly connected to the butterfly cut in the card base only on the body. This makes the attached butterfly wings open almost as if it's flying. It's quite a nice effect! Behind the window, I applied a background made of Wide Sky Washi Tape. I used purple Jewel Strip Bling to border the window on the front. I used orange Jewel Strip Bling on the butterfly body and added an orange Pearl Bling to its head. I also added Butterfly Brads to the front around the sentiment which I also cut in Cricut Design Space.

Have a Berry Sweet Birthday

With the weather warming up, it is the perfect time to wish somebody happy birthday with a bright and cheery strawberry themed card. 

I created this birthday card using several different patterned card stock, along with three different washi tapes, the Pink Dot Washi Tape, the Pink and White Dot Washi Tape, and the Blue and White Dot Washi Tape (which I believe was sold out at the time I made this – sorry) to line the edge. 

I also added five of the 1/16th sized multicolor eyelets running vertically down the side of the card. The strawberry is surrounded by six of the Pink with Silver Edge Jewel Brads.

Adding these sparkly and fun embellishments from Eyelet Outlet takes this card from cute to beyond cute in a matter of minutes.

Thanks a Hole Punch!

Here's a quick and easy thank you card that can be changed up in many ways.  I used circles cut with my Cricut instead of punches and on the back layer I added some of Eyelet Outlet's beautiful shimmer floral washi tape.  The pinks and purples in the tape coordinate so nicely with the pink and purple stitched flowers from the Bright Stitched Flower set, so I added some of them here and there between the punched holes.  

This card could easily be changed up with different punch shapes, any of our gorgeous washi tapes and any of our beautiful flower brads!

Tea Time

 This is a very spring oriented card with the pastels

and floral background. I have been

waiting for the right time to use Eyelet Outlet's

tea cup brads and they worked perfectly on this card.

I also added some pink glitter washi tape in the background

and loads of clear jewels from Eyelet Outlet. So, take some time 

for a cup of tea and relax.

Owl You Need Is Love!

Perhaps more than ever, getting a little something in the mail can be quite a thrill for those of all ages. The card I've made today is meant as fun, no special occasion card that can be sent to anyone just to say hi and give them a paper hug.

The main panel was made with Cloud Washi Tape and Grass Washi Tape. I stamped and cut out the other images and glued them and the sentiment to the panel. I added a Mail Brad for the owl to be holding with his legs and the colored Pastel Owl Brads to the rainbow.

Who Doesn't Love A Pinwheel?!

Who doesn't love a pinwheel?

 I sure do. They remind me of my childhood, playing out in the front yard, running as fast as I could and watching the wind spin the colorful pinwheel I had in my hand. With the weather warming up, I've been seeing pinwheels all over the place, which is what inspired me to create these five unique pinwheel themed cards. The best part about them is the fact that each pinwheel was made using washi tape instead of cardstock.

The first card is a Gnome themed card where I used the Gnome Garden Washi Tape and the Pink Checked Washi Tape for each individual square.  I embellished the squares with Pink and Blue Pearl jewel bling along with some Blue Bumpy Bling in the corners. In the center of the pinwheel is the cutest little Gnome Brad with a blue and white polka dot hat that accents perfectly to the rest of the card.

The next card was created using two different washi tapes to make the pinwheels, the Ocean Washi Tape and the Succulent Washi Tape each layered on each other. The corners are embellished with Green Jewel Bling and in the center of the pinwheel and close to the sentiment, are two Cactus Brads.

This next card just makes me smile looking at it. I love the colors I selected for the pinwheel which were the Flowers and Feather Washi Tape along with the Dark Blue Glitter Washi Tape.  I embellished the card with multiple Blue Bumpy Bling, two Bumpy Bling Hearts, multiple Yellow Enamel Dots and right in the center of the pinwheel is a Bright Yellow Balloon Brad.  Just makes me smile.

 

The fourth card I created, I used the Tulip Washi Tape along with the Glitter Chevron Washi Tape and added the large Stippled Jewel Brad in the center of the pinwheel. The pinwheel and the sentiment are outlined with Yellow Jewel Bling while the corners of the card have Blue Bumpy Bling and Yellow Jewel Bling.

 The final card turned out very pretty and it's probably my favorite. I used the Black and White Floral Washi Tape along with the Bee Washi Tape to create the pinwheel and added a Red Stippled Brad in the center. To create movement on the card, I added multiple sections of the Swirl Bling. This is a beautiful card and anybody that receives it will have a magical day.

Thanks to a huge selection of wash tapes and bling from Eyelet Outlet, I was able to create these five cards in a few hours and now I have them on hand just waiting for the perfect occasion to send.  I hope these inspired you to go create some pinwheel cards of your own.

PLANE Awesome!

 I reached for my Eyelet Outlet Travel brads this week to create this fun little card, perfect for a birthday or anytime you want to let someone know they are PLANE awesome!

I added a little stitched line behind the plane for some playfulness and a few clouds and a sunshine brad from the Sun & Cloud brad set to finish this quick and easy card.

Happy Birthday Wishes!

Birthdays are a great time to share good wishes and show appreciate for those you love! And making handmade birthday cards is extra fun with Eyelet Outlet washi tapes!

For my card base, I cut white cardstock to 5.5 x 5.5 and used a grid mat to create a diagonal pattern using various glittery washi tapes and the Happy Birthday washi tape! Next, I stamped and fussy cut my cupcake base and icing. I added pink pearls for sprinkles and a birthday candle brad and adhered with foam tape. I layered on a piece of white doily and embellished with swirl purple jewel bling. I added a banner greeting and a few more sparkles!  I think it is a fun, festive, and colorful greeting that anyone would enjoy receiving on their special day!
