"It's a Nice Day for a White Wedding"

Happy Monday, Barry here to show you an idea for a wedding card using eyelet outlet embellishments.  First I took some linen white card stock to create the base and frame.  Using a light gray pen I drew in 'stitch' lines.  Using linen type paper gives a card a nice elegant feel and look to it, perfect for a special and momentous occasion.

I cut a floral swag from a file in my Silhouette and added glossy accent to the small buds for added dimension.  I took the white paper flowers and spritzed them lightly with water, crumbled them up and then let them dry.  I wanted to give the flowers more interest and distressing them just a bit did the trick.  Next I added the white pearl strip bling, and to add a touch of sparkle, the sticky back clear jewels and a diamond jewel in the center of the flowers.  Lastly to add some movement, I cut a piece of acetate into a thin strip and mounted a color book butterfly brad to the end and only glued the other end of the acetate behind the paper flowers.  This gives the illusion that the butterfly is actually fluttering.  Fun.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you are inspired to make your own wedding or anniversary cards today because it is a "nice day for a white wedding".
