Hoop It Up!

In honor of March Madness, I thought I'd share a basketball themed birthday card with you today.  I've really been having so much fun making motion cards lately.  This one is called a Wiper Card since the interactive mechanism sort of swipes up like a windshield washer as the card opens.  I learned this cool card fold from Janet at Sugar Shine Designs. It just so happens that you'll soon be meeting Janet, because she has recently joined the Eyelet Outlet Design Team!

Here's what the card looks like when closed. The sentiment on the front is an SVG from Miss Kate's Cuttables and the fabulous basketball brads from Eyelet Outlet make it really pop!!

Here's what the card looks like when it's opened. The paper and basketball player I used for this card comes from a digital paper pack from DG Express on Etsy.  The basket is from Cricut's "Boys Will Be Boys" image set.
