12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Day 6

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends. It's Day 6 of our 12 Days of Holiday Inspiration! Today it's Dawn, sharing a fun project for your kids to have fun making.

Santa is waiting for tender notes and fun wish lists.
Create a magical mail box for your young ones to leave notes to Santa.
I used holiday brads from The Eyelet Outlet, as well as bling and  jewel bling strips.

Don't forget The Eyelet Outlet's Washi Tapes!
I used the tape to cover up where the papers meet. Neat and complete!

I also used Checked Washi Tape and Diagonal Stripe Washi tape on 3x5 index
cards for notes/stationary to Santa!! It's simple...but lined for the kids...and easily coordinates
with the outside of your mail box.

You can find so many darling brads at the store site.

Snowflake brads and jewel bling strips add elegant details to this home decor project!

Join us tomorrow for another day of inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!

12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Day 5

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans! Welcome to Day 5 of our 12 Days of Holiday cards promotion.
My husband and I recently moved from South Texas to Central Texas and I couldn't resist playing up that fact in our Christmas cards this year!
There are design variations in all of the cards, but the focal point in each is the shape of Texas with an Eyelet Outlet heart shaped brad right in the center and the inside of each card says, "...to your house, Merry Christmas!"
One variation carries the Texas theme right down to the cowboy boots and features a holiday wreath and pinecones brads

The next variation has a bright jolly feel with traditional Christmas colors and features a Christmas tree brad, snowflake brad, and for some extra sparkle, some of Eyelet Outlet's new bling on the holly.

Supplies Used Cricut Cartridges: Fifty States (Texas); Old West (boots); Stretch Your Imagination (holly); burlap, ribbon

We hope you're enjoying our "12 Days of Holiday Cards!"

Stay tuned tomorrow Eyelet Outlet fans for Dawn's creation!

Have a great day!

12 Days of Holiday Inspiration

Welcome to 12 Days of  Holiday Inspiration!
Today we are kicking off 12 days of holiday ideas for using Eyelet Outlet products! We hope you'll stop by each day to see what the team has created for you.

Susie here with a gift tag for you today. I thought it would be fun to go through my stray die cuts and see what I could come up with for embellishing gift tags.  Of course I added an Eyelet Brad to all of them!

 Here is my favorite:

This little retro Santa holding a candy cane just makes me smile.  And won't it bring a smile to the face of the recipient?  Can't wait to attach it to a wrapped gift.  Yup - I've already been Christmas shopping!

Here is a close up of that Jolly Old Santa and his candy cane:

Be sure to be sure to check out our holiday brads in the Eyelet Outlet store.  Take a look right here. They will make the perfect 3D embellishment for YOUR holiday gift tags. That's it for today.  But we will be back tomorrow with more inspiration for you! If you have a chance, I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.

Design Team Wednesday with Annette

Hi Eyelet Outlet peeps! I have a couple of fun projects for you today. I'll start you off with a little humor. I seriously cracked myself up with this one! If turkey's could talk, they would be yelling this right now!
Supplies:
Turkey brads - Eyelet Outlet
Paper - American Crafts
Sentiment - Computer Generated (Font is Skinny Jeans)
Now for a non-card project. I made a boat!! Specifically, I made a miniature paper version of the Mayflower. If any history buffs are reading this, let me clarify that I know the Mayflower didn't have pilgrim hats and writing on the its sails. I can also say with confidence that the pilgrims did not display the banner "America or bust!" In fact, I don't even think the New World was even called America, but it's fun to pretend, right. Wouldn't this be a fun treat holder to place on the table at Thanksgiving? I loaded my boat with Skittles, but you could use nuts, crackers or even popcorn! I created the boat in Silhouette Studio. As a special treat and as my way of saying "Thank You" to my readers, I am going to make this available on my blog for FREE. You don't even have to be a follower to get it (but I always get a little excited when I see a new follower added to the my list.) Here’s my post!
 Supplies:
Pilgrim Hat Brads - Eyelet Outlet
Bling - Eyelet Outlet
Ink - Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Brushed Corduroy)

Design Team Wednesday with Susan

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends. There's a lot of work involved in preparing your family's Thanksgiving meal, so you'll appreciate this truly quick and easy project that will add such fun to your holiday table setting!

I used the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge to create the base for these tent fold style place cards, but there are other easy to follow templates available free on line. I printed the names of my family members on basic cream colored card stock, cut them into strips and applied some rust colored ink to the edges. After cutting out 1" tiles using the free Cricut Craft Room Basics digital cartridge, the real fun began! Using the many autumn and Thanksgiving themed brads available at Eyelet Outlet, these little place cards went together in a snap!

The Mini Stitched Flower Brads in lovely autumn colors were an especially sweet touch for the gals in the family.

Of course, I just had to use the turkey brad on my husband's place card! He was quick to point out, however, that I deserved the nut on mine!

Since there will be some family unable to be at our table this Thanksgiving, I used some of the embellished tiles to create this Thanksgiving card.

Supplies Used: Plantin Schoolbook and Craft Room Basics Cricut Cartridges, Pumpkin Brads, Fall Leaves Brads, Mini Fall Leaves Brads, Pilgrim Hat Brads, Turkey Brads, Acorn Brads, Paper Studio Leaves Embossing Folder, Ribbon

There's just over three weeks until Thanksgiving, Eyelet Outlet fans, you still have time to create this fun project for your family!

Thanks for stopping by!

Design Team Monday with Susie

Hello Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here with two new cards to share with you today. I am just SO into the fall colors right now.  I am loving the soft browns and greens with touches of reds and oranges!

I found this great word art by Ali Edwards and digitally colored all the words using beautiful fall hues.  Once I added it to my wood grain paper, I knew that fall leaves were needed to complete my card.  These gorgeous Leaf Brads were the perfect addition!  It is a rare card that isn't improved by brads!!  I also used some beautiful Pearl Bling to "attach" my banner.

Now on to card #2

My card base is made from the same papers as the banner above.  I also had circles cut from the same collection so I decided to make my own patterned paper.  My stamp is from Kaiser Kraft and I love the subway art look.  I wanted to repeat the circle theme on the card, so I scooped up more of the Pearl Bling  and added it to parts of my banner.  FUN!!
Be sure to be sure to check out the brads and bling I've shown you today along with all our great new products in the Eyelet Outlet store.
Take a look right here.

I hope you like today's cards and I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.
