Art Impressions and Eyelet Outlet Team up Day 2!

It's Day 2 of our Blog Team up with Art Impressions and it's my turn to share some inspiration with Eyelet Outlet and the fun images from Ai. Did you know that Art Impressions has some great tutorial videos you can check out over here. I love learning new tricks and techniques via You Tube.

For today's post I used the Chatting Hoots Set.

 Hope your birthday's...

Supplies: October Afternoon Cake Walk paper. Eyelet Outlet Baloon brads, eyeglass, hat and tie brads. Eyelet Outlet red bling strips. Dark Blue and yellow and green  twine The Twinery. Copic markers. Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

This image was fun to create with and I was able to use several of our brads. I typically use my brads as accents on my cards. Do you also do the same with your cards and projects or do you use your brads as the main focus of your cards?

Answer this question by posting on our Eyelet Outlet Facebook wall and I'll send one lucky commenter an Eyelet Outlet goodie bag.

Winner will be announced on Saturday's post.

Make sure you visit the Art Impressions blog to see what their talented designers are creating today!

Design Team Wednesday with Nicole

Hi Eyelet Outlet fans!  It's Nicole here today and I have two cards for you today...

I created this cute little bird house card and used 3 different brads the sitting birds (pastel), the flying birds (pastel) and a 12mm gold pearl brad.  Of course I used one of my favorite EO products and that is bling.  I used two different types Pearl Bling sheets and Pearl Bling strips.  The other supplies I used are Pink Paislee pattern paper, a smalll bit of twine, a small part of a bamboo skewer, two prima paper flowers, and finally I used some stickles on the flowers and bird brads.  I just love glitter!  Here is close up of the brads.

Here is my second card... totally has some fun british flair!

The Eyelet Outlet is known for its brads and eyelets but did you know there is ribbon, bling and paper flowers also in the store.  This card actually doesnt use any brads but instead features the flag ribbon and blue jewel bling strips.  I also used paper from My Minds Eye and October Afternoon, 2 Maya Road pins, Chipboard from Maya Road, a sticker from Crate Paper, hello stamp from G Studio and from my personal stash cream ribbon and a bus die cut.  I am going to send this card to my neices along with some souvenirs from our recent trip to England.  I think it is perfect!  Here is a close up of the ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!

Design Team Wednesday with Susie

Hello Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here with a few new cards to share with you.

I am in the middle of a love affair with Washi Tape.  And let me tell you, I am so excited that they make so many colors that go perfectly with my Eyelet Outlet brads.  This card is a great example.  My Cake Brads are just perfect with these three tapes.  For a bit of sparkle, I added some Eyelet Outlet Clear Jewel Bling too.  This card is SOOOOO simple to make.  I used a 4x5.25 white panel and added five rows of Washi Tape.  At the top I added a small piece of tape to anchor my heat embossed sentiment.  Then I added my brads and gems and I was nearly done.  All I had left to do was add the panel to a white card base.  EASY PEASY!!

 Now for card #2:

I used the Eye Glass, Mustaches, and Men's Hats brads on this card.  It was fun building little scenes on the blocks.  I typed my sentiment on the middle block to tie everything together. The papers I used are from the Carta Bella Traditions 6x6 paper pack.

I hope you like today's cards.  I am showcasing the first one on my blog today.

I welcome you anytime at The Dies Have It
