Design Team Monday with Kerry

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans!  Kerry here, sharing a fun card using a few of my favorite Eyelet Outlet goodies.
I have been madly in love with washi tape for the longest time, so when I saw the new
washi/decorative tape, I was over the moon!

I decided to create a fun pattern paper using the washi tape.  I just use white card stock as a base and cover it with washi tape love.

Then, I stamped the image directly on the 'washi pattern paper'.

I stamped the same image again on a separate card stock.  Then I colored her face and hair with Copic markers.  (Face E00, E11;  Hair E33, E35, E37).  I fussy out her hat and outfit and adhered to the card.   Note:  I actually stamped the image 2 separate 'washi pattern paper', one for each pattern (washi tape love and washi tape glitter - light maroon)

To finish the card, I also added pink paper flower, 14mm scallop brads - pink, jewel bling strips - grey, and saying bubble brads.  And Viola!

Hope you like it and have fun with all your yummy washi tapes!
And before I say goodbye... here are a few more 'washi pattern paper' samples for your inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Design Team Wednesday with Dawn

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans. Dawn here today.
I enjoy receiving words of encouragement.
Over the years, I have saved notes here and there from friends and acquaintances who have brightened my day with their kind words.  Do you have notes of encouragement tucked into special places too?
Be sure to pay it forward and encourage someone today!

Here are a couple of inspiring cards using snazzy brads from The Eyelet Outlet!

Aren't these Scissors Brads so eye catching?
I used bits of bling strips (pearls) for a bit of color interest.
But those scissors make a great statement!

Supplies:

This card is great for the youthful...or youthful at heart!
I love the playful colors of the pinwheel brads.
I used matching colors in bling strips.  They just POP! against the dark eggplant card base.
A nice change from black, don't you think!

Supplies:

Thanks so much for all your encouraging comments and for stopping by today!

Design Team Monday with Susie

Welcome Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here to share a few cards with you.

Now that it's July in Texas, it's pretty hot, so I've been thinking about cooling off.  A fan, you say?  Yes, please.  So I built up a circle embellishment to really show off my Fan brad.  Isn't it the cutest?  The rest of the card just followed along, but I didn't have a sentiment for the pun I was trying to deliver, so I just typed it out and then die cut.  I added some black  Enamel Dots to the left of the fan for a bit of balance. One thing I want to tell you too, is that I didn't use ANY patterned paper on my card.  All of that sweet pink and white is one of our new Washi tape patterns.  I just LOVE the new styles.

Next I wanted to do something with the current sketch.   If I could use this sketch for every card I make for a while, I think I'd be happy! You have until July 27th to enter the challenge too. I focused on some more of our new Washi tape and also used some of the Enamel Arrows.  They were just perfect finishing touches!
Be sure to grab some brads, Washi tape and Enamel Dots to make a card to send to someone special today.
And be sure to stay tuned here at the blog.

We always have something fun to share with you and inspire you!

If you have a chance, I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.

Design Team Wednesday with Susan

Susan here wishing you Happy Independence Day from all of us on the Eyelet Outlet Design Team! I've got a couple of fun little projects for you today that will  make your summer picnics extra special! First up is this Mason Jar filled with pinwheels.  Each pinwheel is  held together with a different color Eyelet Outlet Ice Pop Brad.  My Crop-A-Dial Big Bite was the perfect tool to put holes in my jar lid so my pinwheels would stand up nicely in my Mason Jar.

A great thing about this project is that ANY of Eyelet Outlet brads would make marvelous fasteners for these pinwheels, so the only limit is your imagination when it comes to creating this project.

Supplies Used
Cricut 3-D Pinwheels Cartridge
Two Sided Patterned Paper
Wooden Dowel
Glue Gun

Next up is a project that your picnic guests will get a great big kick out of and it could not be EASIER!  I simply punched a couple of holes along the rim of my paper plates and added some Eyelet Outlet Ant Brads!

These place settings were so quick and easy to put together and were a GREAT hit with my guests as I'm sure they will be with yours!  I used the Mini-Ant Brads, but the Regular Sized Ants would be great, too.

Supplies Used
  Dollar Store Paper Goods
 Hole Punch

Enjoy a safe and happy time with your picnic guests this weekend and be back next week for a some more great projects from your Eyelet Outlet Design Team!
