Happy Easter to You

Hi Everyone!
It's Nancy from kandykrazee, and I
have a gift card holder to share with you today!

The jewel brads from eyelet outlet are not only functional, they are so beautiful too!
I used  a clear, Gold edge jewel brad to hold my bow together and attach it to the box.
Love how pretty the bow looks!

Love how easy the flower quicklet eyelet was to attach and it's so pretty!

Here is the back

Some Bunny Loves You!

Hi everyone!  I'm here today with a clean and simple card that was put together with a couple of punches and a few quick embellishments.  Gotta love it when the colors coordinate and it comes together so easily!

Some Easter washi tape forms a border beneath a punched garden of flowers accented with enamel dot centers.  A pastel rabbit brad and an enamel heart on the (also punched) sentiment tag add another pop of color to the uncluttered, bright white background. A fast, fun card for Easter, or for any lovely Spring day, for that matter!

Favorite Peeps

It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today.  I have so many incredible goodies from Eyelet Outlet I want to use in my design team posts, I'm having quite a difficult time deciding upon which I want to work with first.

I finally decided upon the Clear Bumpy Bling and it couldn't have been a more perfect choice for the bunny tails on this Easter card.

I wanted to make the card smaller; to fit in a 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" remittance envelope as I like changing from the standard sized card from time to time.

I cut each bunny in a different color and embossed them with three different embossing folders. I think they were a perfect backdrop for the Bling.

The Bumpy Bling is adhesive backed, so they were a breeze to attach to the bunny "butts".  It's asking a lot of embellishments to hold firm to embossed backgrounds, and I often add liquid adhesive to strengthen the bond; but these held extremely well on their own.

Here's a closer look at the Bling.  I tried to capture how it catches the light, but I'm afraid I didn't do them justice.  Look at all that luscious dimension.

For something a little different, I colored-matched the sentiment to the bunnies on the front.

These bunnies remind me of Peeps.  I like that shape better than the original chicks.  Speaking of Peeps, did you know that more than 700 million are sold each year.  Wow, that's a lot of sugar!

Floral Sympathy

I love this new wide Washi Floral Washi Tape ... the wider tape makes it much easier to cover the front of a card ... and the transparency of this tape allows it to have lots of different looks depending on your background paper.

This is how it looks on a darker blue cardstock.  I added a lovely row of black pearls to accent my sentiment.

This is the same tape on light blue cardstock.  One trick when you cover cards with washi tape is to burnish it with a bone folder to allow the background color to show through as much as possible.

So many possibilities for creating with this gorgeous tape.

Making My Own Sunshine!!!

Welcome to my second post for the Eyelet Outlet and Brads blogsince I'm looking forward to Spring and we haven't had a lot of sunshine lately I needed to make a bright and happy card and I used two fabulous products.

I decided to make a 5 inch square card, when I saw this image I immediately thought those bumpy jewels would be perfect for the centers of the flowers, and what could be cuter than bumble bees.

Closer look at the center jewels and those adorable bees.

Another angle.

Here are the products from the Eyelet Outlet and Brads that I used on my card

Turtle-y Awesome Tags!

It's my turn on the Eyelet Outlet Blog again, where I'm still crushing bigtime on the brand new, soon-to-be-released, animal brads! There are so many great designs this time, I could not resist giving you another little preview of some that will be in the Eyelet Outlet Store very soon! I also couldn't use just one... or even two... so here's a three-fer of handmade tags. But first, fair warning: if you happen to be a person who hates puns, look away now!

I'm in love with all the new brads, but the Llamas miiiiight be my favorite. I mean, seriously, just look at that cute face!

Since I wanted the characters (and ok, yes, the puns, lol!) to be the stars of this tag set, I haven't used much else in the way of embellishments, just little stacks of vintage paper, some fun hand-stamping, and a few strips of solid color tape, from my favorite Skinny Washi Set.

The Fox Brads come in mixed packs, with some of the foxes standing up, and others taking a little nap. I'm pretty sure it was planned that way because the designers knew it would be impossible for us to choose only one type of fox!

Finally, the Turtle Brads have found their way --slowly but surely-- into my heart. Because, YES, they really are turtle-y awesome!!!

As you know, there's something new for you here on the Eyelet Outlet Blog every single day, so I hope you'll come back tomorrow and see what my friend Barbara has to show you!

Lauren Bergold loves puns, paper,
Eyelet Outlet brads, and hanging out with her fellow papercrafters,
which she does here and on her own blog!

You're turtley Rad

Hi Everyone!
Nancy here, just wanted to share a card I made using a one of Eyelet Outlet's newest brad's.
Its actually not in the store yet, but should be available soon!

As soon as I saw this adorable little turtle brad I knew I had the perfect stamp set to make a card with it.  I added a black bling from the bling strips to either sided of the sentiment.
Here is a closer look at the brad.

I stamped another turtley awesome sentiment on the inside of the card
and added some green enamel dots underneath.

Be sure to check out the Eyelet Outlet store.  There is lots of fund stuff
to embellish you project with!
