What a super fun sketch?!  I was super excited to use one of the new washi tape!

I started with a piece of white card stock and covered it with the pretty washi tape, viola!  Instant pattern paper!  And I also added the fun American hat brad from the Flag and hat brads, and some grey jewels!

Here is the sketch for June! You have til midnight Sunday June 29th to enter.

Design Team Wednesday with Annette

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans!
Summer is almost in full swing in the United States.
Watching baseball games, swimming at the pool, and grilling burgers and brats are all part of the fun.

Before you know it, we'll be waving flags in celebration of July 4th.
Yes, Independence Day is just around the corner.

In preparation for the festivities, I made a flag card using only bling. The results are impressive, but the effort is actually pretty minimal thanks to Eyelet Outlet bling strips.

First, I took a white piece of paper cut to the size of the flag. I laid the strips across the paper in the design of a flag. Then I adhered it to another piece of white paper that is slightly larger than the flag to create a border.

Lastly, I adhered it to the card base...

Bam! Done!

And right now if you spend $20 you can use the code below to save and extra 20%!

We've also just added 60 new washi tape styles to the store for only 2.79! Quantities are limited! Shop now thru June 19th and spend at least $20 then enter the code tape20 at checkout to save an additional 20% off! Remember you must enter the discount code "tape20" at checkout to get the savings! Design Team Monday with Susie

Welcome Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here to share a few cards with you.

On my first card, I really wanted my little Eyelet Outlet Hammer to be the focal point of my card, but sometimes with a small element, it is hard to accomplish. So I built up a little framed area for it and now it shines!  I added one of the new Heart Enamel Dots below the hammer for some extra
zing.

Next I wanted to do something with the adorable Nurse Brads.   This set also has stethoscopes, but I just wanted to use the nurse's cap for this thank you card.  I added some of our new Eyelet Outlet Enamel Dots and a few sequins to finish my card. I will be mailing this out to a sweet nurse who took good care of me late last month when I took a tumble. Be sure to grab some brads and enamel dots to make a card to send to someone special today.  And be sure to stay tuned here at the blog.

We always have something fun to share with you and inspire you! If you have a chance, I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.

Design Team Wednesday with Dawn

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans!
Summer is upon us...and so are summer birthdays!
Here are a couple of neat layouts that will help keep you
in the sun and at the pool...instead of inside at the craft table.

I layered the printed Sock Monkey Paper Flowers Blue in a diagonal...and added a few plain red flowers for contrast.  I added a bunch ofPearl Bling in the flower centers for interest.

One happy go lucky Sock Monkey Brad sets off the sentiment!

Here is a summer time treat for the man in your life who is celebrating
another year in the sun!  This card is more narrow than the typical A2 card.
 It measures 3.75 inches across.

These Lawn Mushroom Brads and lined up across the top of the embossed panel.
Quick and colorful!

And...let this Gnome Brad be the spokesman for your card!

There you have it...two simple layouts that make a statement using fun brads, bling and flowers!!
When you go to make your summer birthday cards this year, change out the decorative elements from
The Eyelet Outlet to fit the personality of the birthday boy or girl!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Design Team Monday with Susan

Hello Eyelet Outlet friends! Susan here to share a couple of birthday cards with you today.  "Man Cards" often give even the most experienced paper crafter a challenge, but Eyelet Outlet has many fun "manly" type brads that can really help get your creative juices flowing!  Here' a birthday card I created for a special guy who likes to fish.

I loved the way the little fishing pole brad served as an under score to part of my sentiment and the way the fishing hook quicklet served to "catch" the age!  The trout and bass brads are so real looking!

Supplies Used:  Fishing Pole Brad, Trout & Bass Brads, Fishing Hook Quicklet,  Cricut "Fun In The Sun" Cartridge  & Twine
Next up is another "Man Card," but this one is for a much littler man - my soon-to-be-three year old grand nephew!
I think he's going to love the colorful car brads!  The road sign is a great way to use Eyelet Outlet's newest product - enamel shapes!   I used a black enamel arrow on this card.
Supplies Used:  Car Brads, Enamel Arrow, Cricut Philadelphia Cartridge and Cricut Street Signs Cartridge, Ribbon
Thanks for stopping by today, friends!

Come on back on Wednesday and see what my talented friend and Design Team mate, Dawn has for you!
