Layouts on Friday with Rosandra

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans. Rosandra here to share a little layout inspiration with you today. I enjoy taking photos during the fall. The colors are one of my favorites to scrapbook. I only have boys, so I have to be REALLY creative when I want to use bling and flowers on thier pages so it doesn't look girlie.

I enjoy taking photos during the fall. The colors are one of my favorites to scrapbook. I only have boys, so I have to be REALLY creative when I want to use bling and flowers on thier pages so it doesn't look girlie. I'm often asked why I haven't gone to digital scrapbooking and quite honestly I like the hands on creativity that goes with traditional scrapbooking.

More importantly I LOVE the textures. In this layout I layered various styles and textures of flowers and instead of the typical jeweled bling or buttons I used the brown fawns from the fawn brad pack. It adds to the texture without adding a feminine element to my boy pages.

What's your favorite part of scrapbooking? Do you have a favorite embellishment you like to use on your layouts? Tell us in the comments.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Design Team Wednesday with Annette

Hi there. Annette here with a couple of cards for you. I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost a month away. It's the time of year when we think of things like leaves, pumpkins and pilgrims. I thought I'd have a little fun with this card and create a word search puzzle with words associated with Thanksgiving. Eyelet Outlet has a lot of brads that work perfectly with the Thanksgiving theme.

Products:

Thanksgiving also just happens to fall on my mom's birthday this year. Below is a card I made for her. I used the enamel dots and pearl bling to accent the card and give it a nice finishing touch.

Halloween inspiration

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans! Today I wanted to share some fun cards I created with our Halloween themed brads.

For my first card I added one of the mini spider brads to my card with some waxy flax from Close To My Heart. The stamped image is from My Favorite Things Witch Way to the Candy set.

I used the same stamp set along with a fun die from My Favorite Things added a witch hat brad to my kitty and used the mini grey pearl bling for the eyes of my spider.

These mini spider brads were perfect on these spider web stamps from Hero Arts.

I also love that it's so easy to use Eyelet Outlet brads on my cards and projects.

What is your favorite holiday to craft?

Leave a comment and let us know. Don't forget to share your Eyelet Outlet creations with us on our Facebook page. We love seeing what you create!

Have a creative day!

Design Team Wednesday with Susie

Welcome Eyelet Outlet Fans!
Susie here to share a few thankfulness projects with you. My first card is a shaker card embellished with two friendly Eyelet Outlet Bright Owl Brads.  Don't they just make the perfect addition to that die cut wreath?  They come in a package of eight in four colors...but these orange and green ones were perfect for this card.  Don't be afraid to use your brads in unexpected ways.  It will have your card recipients wondering how you became so darned creative!

Next up is another thankfulness card....but much more whimsical. I started embellishing my colored flower with brads to make my recipient smile!  I used the  Men's Hat Brads, the Eyeglasses Brads,  and the Mustache Brads too.  I added some tiny googly eyes behind the glasses too. I wanted a few enamel dots on the front of my card and of course, Eyelet Outlet Enamel Dots are the best!  They are a lower profile than some which make them perfect for card makers.

Be sure to grab some brads and enamel dots to make your great projects today.  And stay tuned here at the blog. We always have something fun to share with you and inspire you!

If you have a chance, I would love for you to visit me at The Dies Have It.
