Now that it's getting cooler here in the Carolinas, my husband and I are starting to go camping on the weekends. This was on my mind when I created my card. Pocket File Folder

 Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a file folder created with Eyelet Outlet brads and bling.  Eyelet Outlet has so many products to create projects for many occasions.

I used a file folder die to create the base of the folder.  Then I added jewel strips to outline the front cover.  I decorated a star die cut with pearl bling and used pearl brads to hold the pages together.

Rustic Fall Card

I am so looking forward to cooler temps and fall colors. Today I have a rustic fall themed card for you. I used my Cricut to cut the rolled flowers and larger leaves. Nestled among the floral grouping I used Eyelet Outlet's popular leaf brads. Supply of these are running low in our liquidation sale, so grab them up while you can!
 

I attached the hinges to the barn door with some Eyelet Outlet screw brads. Be sure to add several packages of these to your cart while supplies last. 

Smooth Sailing

Cardmaking is smooth sailing with Eyelet Outlet Boat and Lighthouse Brads. In this design, our Sun and Clouds Brads highlight the sentiment, with Sea Shore and Shell Brads in the foreground; giving this sweet beach scene lots of texture and interest.

Sympathy Card

 

Today I made a card that sadly becomes necessary to make or have on hand from time to time. Sympathy cards can be difficult for me. I love bright colors so my normal go-to color palette is usually not appropriate for such a somber occasion. Today's card still has bold colors but also includes whites and blacks to help balance the color out. 

This card started by creating an alcohol ink background in blue, orange, green and yellow. I added some silver metallic ink to break up the colors a bit and add something neutral. I cut the panel in four quadrants which represents a cross. Then I made a sentiment to go in the intersection area. 

I applied strips of Sparkle Pink Glitter Washi Tape on a pink cardstock panel. Then I added the cut alcohol ink panels on foam tape, leaving borders between the panels. Then I glued the Sympathy sentiment in place and added the rose brads below that in a cluster. To achieve this, I cut off the brad prongs and used hot glue to put them in place. Finally I added one of my favorite embellishments, matte enamel dots.

 Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing mini file folders created with Eyelet Outlet paper flowers, brads, bling, and washi tape.  Eyelet Outlet has so many products to create projects for many occasions.

I used a mini file folder die to create the folders out of patterned cardstock.  I added a strip of sparkle pink glitter washi tape across the middle and then decorated with a paper flower, jewel brad, pearl brad, and square jewels, and oval jewels.  The jewel bling at the top adds a little sparkle to the label section.

When Life Gives you Lemons...

It's September and that means fall has begun! For many, this is their favorite season. I concur!

Blooming Beauty

 Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a flower garden greeting card created with Eyelet Outlet brads and bling.  Eyelet Outlet has so many products to create projects for many occasions.

I used a rectangle die to create the card base and cut it out of plaid cardstock.  I layered a scallop rectangle over to serve as the sky.  I used a grass die to create the grass and also cut it out of the same scallop rectangle so the edges would line up.  Then I added flower brads to the stems.  You could used the colored daisy brads or any other flower brads.  The sun is made of bling jewels and jewel strips and the birds are made of blue jewel strips.

Nutcracker Card

 Temperatures are still in the 90's and 100's here in Central Texas, so a good way to cool off is to start on Christmas cards in my airconditioned craft room!

This card has always been a favorite of mine. I embellished with Eyelet Outlet's nutcracker brad and gift brad. I used our pine tree brad on this one, but those have sold out. We still have a snowy version as the retro tree which would be perfect as well. Our popular snowflake brads are sold out, too, but if you were lucky enough to nab some in the on-going liquidation sale, here's some inspo for using them. I used images from the Cricut image library to create a print-then-cut border for this card and a snowflake embossing folder to add texture to the blue background.
