Getting Older Is No Prob-Llama!

You can never have enough birthday cards so I make them to be at the ready when they're needed. Today's card was fun to do in part because it's a lot different than all the holiday cards I've done lately. I'm loving the citrus colors of orange, green, and yellow!

The green panel is 4" x 5 1/4". I cut two orange strips of paper at 1 1/2" each and place a strip of Cactus Washi Tape in the middle of each. I glued them at an angle and trimmed off the excess orange paper on each side. Then I cut the blue starburst and the yellow circle. I glued my blue llama on the circle and then put a Cocktail Brad on his back and three green Pearl Bling. I adhered the llama piece on to the green panel and then inserted Piñata Brads and Cactus Brads in the corners. I mounted the green panel on a slightly larger orange panel and put both on a white A2 card base. I wrapped a white and orange baker's twine around the folded edge of the card and tied a bow. Last, I stamped and cut the birthday sentiment strip and glued it to the top orange and washi tape strip.

This is a bright and fun card I will put in my stash for someone that I knows likes a southwestern theme or enjoys tropical drinks. This would be a perfect card for a get together around the pool when it's hot and toasty outside!

Happy Birthday to the Tool Man

Hello EO fans! Today I'm here with a fun masculine card. I've used many different washi tapes on this card. It all works together to create a happy birthday tool man theme.

I've also added tool brads to this card. I think the wrench and hammer is perfect for this man. These are from the Tools brad set. The hand saw is from the Saw brad set. Green, orange and white pearls add just a little bit of bling. This may be a man's card but I still think the pearls add the right touch.

This card is for my husband who it a real tool man. I think he's going to get a kick out of it. I just love that no matter the theme, EO always has just the right washi tape and brads.

What's cuter than a turtle on a tag?!

Hey everybody! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here, sharing a super adorable card featuring our Turtle Brads and Green Pearl Bling! There's something about a tag on the front of card... and especially a tag with a super cute turtle, some pearl bling and a pun-y sentiment! This is so stinkin' cute I can't stand it! And sometimes less is definitely more!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from white cardstock along with layering panels from green cardstock and green dotted pattern paper. I die cut a tag from white cardstock using a tag die and stamped the sentiment in green ink. I added a couple strips cut from the green cardstock to the bottom of the tag, added the Turtle Brad and a tiny heart punched from pink cardstock. I added some green crafting cord to the tag before adhering it to the card front, and then added some Green Pearl Bling to finish it off.

I cut the inside panel from white cardstock and embellished it with a wide strip of the green dotted patterned paper used on the front. I stamped the sentiment in green ink and layered the panel on green cardstock.
