The colder temps have turned my mind to the holidays and card making for friends and families. There's nothing that says Christmas more than a tree full of holiday decorations. I made this one by cutting out the layers of the tree in smooth white cardstock. Then I colored each layer by blending a different color of green ink on it. I added red 8MM Cut Jewels, boots from the Santa Suit and Boots Brads, Snowflake Brads, Angel Brads, Sled Brads and a Star Brad for the top of the tree.
For the background, I cut strips out of Holiday Washi Tape with a die so that every other strip was of silver glitter cardstock. I added the Christmas sentiment and three Clear Edge Bling. This is a card with lots of sparkle thanks to the gold and silver glitter cardstock of the background. It is hard to capture the beauty on camera but it's quite pretty.
