Create your own theme with Eyelet Outlet!!

Any card can be a class act, when you add Eyelet Outlet washi, decorative brads and enamels.
There are so many different styles to choose from that you can coordinate to any theme!
Here I used some measuring tape washi tape, which is a fan favorite. It can be used for sewing, carpenter/tool themes, as well as school themed projects!

These Antique Car brads look like they are on their way out of the Eyelet Outlet shop.
Never fear...we have a spring release just around the corner that you make you toot your horns!
Be sure to pick up your favorite brads...and coordinating washi tapes!

Enjoy the Ride!

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a great 2018 so far!

My brothers are both great car enthusiasts.  They like to buy old, junky "vintage" cars and restore them.  They're really good at it, too, and one of those cars, a gorgeous red hemi Belvedere, has even graced the cover of a popular auto magazine!  We used to go together to car shows and to the drag races (when we didn't live half a continent from each other!), and that's what inspired today's card.

I grabbed Eyelet Outlet's antique car washi tape, red number washi tape, wide ticket washi tapescrew brads, and truck brads to pull this birthday card together.  With its red, black, and white color scheme and tea-dye distress inking, it definitely has that vintage car feel and they'll know exactly what I was going for!

Haha!  Bet you'd never guess that I used to pack the parachute for a AA fuel dragster!  Yep!  It's true!

Antique Cars

Today I'm featuring Antique Car Washi Tape backgrounds with awesome vintage car illustrations.

For this first card, I attached the Washi Tape to a scrap of white cardstock.  I love the wonderful grey/tan shade of this tape.

My first card uses a vintage Mercedes Benz with this week's Sketch from The Paper Players.

I added a Happy Birthday Road Sign Arrow Brad together with a sticker sentiment to complete the masculine design.

For the next one, I attached the tape to a scrap of lime green cardstock to coordinate with my fun little card.  This tape isn't quite as as translucent as other Washi Tapes, but you can see how the different color of cardstock did change the hue of the background.

I would totally love to have one of these fun little Goggomobiles.  I used another Road Sign Arrow sentiment for this design.
