A Card That's Mint to Be! 🍦🍨🍧

Hey, EO fans! Last week I made a hot grilling card, but this week I'm cooling things off with a sweet ice cream card in yummy mint and strawberry colors. It says, "You're my favorite flavor." I bet you can guess what mine is... Yep! Mint chocolate chip is my ice cream of choice. Yum!

I made this card using a die set from my stash to form the mint chocolate chip ice cream bar. For the chocolate chips, I used a combination of small dark brown circles and the smallest Black Matte Enamel Dots. I topped the bar with an adorable Stitched Flower Brad. Next, I created the oval embellishment with a circle border stamp and a scallop die. It features two yummy Ice Cream Cone Brads in the center. I popped the ice cream embellishment up on foam tape and set it aside.

For a simple yet interesting background, I cut a piece of heavy ivory cardstock and ran it through a 3D embossing folder. I then dabbed some pink ink on the raised areas of the design and splattered some of the same pink ink on top to add a fun speckled look.

To put the card together, I first created an A2-sized card base out of cream cardstock and glued on the embossed mat. I then placed the sentiment strip and my other embellishments, finishing it off with a few more matte black enamel dots for a final touch.

Figgy Pudding

This little figgy pudding was fun to make and adorn
with the wonderful seasonal embellishments from the Eyelet Outlet.

First, he was die cut in traditional red and green holiday colors and
a holly brad added to his top along
with black matte dots around his scarf.

Finally along the corners of the the card I brightened it up with
some fabulous gems from Eyelet Outlet.

Best of the Bunch

Today I colored a floral card from All and Create. It has different inserts that you can add for the different seasons and makes it very versatile to use with a variety of Eyelet Outlet embellishments.

For this card I decided to use fall colored flowers and I added some additional reed stems that I drew in myself. I included screw brads for the wheels of the cart. The fall flower brads come in a variety of colors so I selected one of each color.

To finish the card I used the thin strips of glitter washi with black matte enamel dots on top.

Stick Together

I found this great image from Colorado Crafts and colored it
with Copic Markers just so I could use these cute cactus brads
from Eyelet Outlet. The packet comes with two different types
of cactus. I also used matte enamel dots in between the cactus brads.

I added two of the skinny glitter tapes that I love from
Eyelet Outlet and use all the time. They come in a package of
six different colors

All Geared Up!

Today's card is a wild ride featuring Eyelet Outlet washi tape and brads. Who says making masculine cards are hard? Not with these great products on hand.

The background of this card is made with Car Washi Tape. After the tape was applied, I ran it through a gear embossing folder and trimmed it to 4" x 5 1/4". I used a corner rounder on opposite corners. Next I cut a strip of silver cardstock at 5 1/4" x 1 1/4" and used another embossing folder on it before gluing it to the mat. Next I matted the sentiment and added a Tool Box Brad, a Tool Brad and a Driving Brad. I applied the sentiment and the car with double-sided foam tape. To finish it off, I added three Black Matte Enamel Dots

This was a fun card to put together and quite fast to do. If you are interested in making a similar one and have a Cricut machine, check out the pattern file I created for the card on Cricut Design Space. You can access the pattern here:
