On to Paris

 A fun summer excursion to Paris with this cute image

from Julia Spiri. And, it was the perfect setting to add

some wonderful embellishments from Eyelet Outlet.

I added brads of the Eiffel Tower (the package has them in 

silver and antique bronze). I added some clear jewel bling

to the Paris sign and then on the strip with the Eiffel Towers.

I finished up with one of my favorite jewel strips in 

blue. It makes a perfect border and it is one of

my favorites from Eyelet Outlet.

At the Beach

 

The best place on a hot summer day is the beach. I composed
this beach scene with images from Peddlers Den and a
life guard station die cut. I colored the scene
with water colors.

Embellishments from Eyelet Outlet really
brough this scene to life. The brads include both the
flip flops and the sea shells. I topped off the life
guard station with the string pearls from Eyelet Outlet.

To finish up the card I used my favorite blue glitter
washi tape from Eyelet Outlet along with some 
pretty jewel brads.

Adventure Awaits...

 Do you have time to squeeze in one more adventure this summer? If not you maybe a friend? I think this would be a fun card to give a future traveler to wish them a wonderful end of summer adventure!

This card was so fun to create and had me dreaming of one more summer adventure!! I started with adding the Land & Sea Washi tape on the bottom and top of my white card stock. I created vintage style motel keys with various fun vacation wishes. I added the adorable suitcase brad, airplane brad, and cruise ship brad to each motel key. After stamping a red bunting across the top, I added each motel key with a pearl brad and foam tape! I finished off my creation with distressing around the edge with blue ink and layering my creation on to black stock.

Plant and Grow

 

Time to plant and grow for this little rabbit
image from the Colorado Craft Company.
 Looks like he has a big harvest growing too.

I used two rows of the tulip washi tape from Eyelet Outlet
for the base of the card and also a few tulips above the sentiment.

The butterfly brads and the gardening tools from
Eyelet Outlet were perfect additions to this
gardening card.

Have a juicy fun day!

 Summertime brings to mind lemonade and citrusy drinks!

This citrus card could be for encouragement or birthday! It is very versatile! I loved adding the new lemon and fruit brads! One of my favorite ways to use the paper flowers is to layer them! For this card, I layered white and yellow paper flowers with a yellow brad from the summer mix! I hope you enjoy!

Summertime and the livin' is easy...

I love the slower pace of summer!

 These sweet kiddos are loving a slower, summer pace too, I think! To add the green grass washi, I used a craft knife to cut their feet and the bottom of the hug box and then slid the grass washi under! I added turquoise jewels for music notes and a 2 sweet butterfly brads. Lastly, I added 3 red brads to the bottom corner. I hope you enjoy!

Shine with Bees

 

Here is a fun summer project. This is a shadow box card I
 constructed and added paper to the background and a
chipboard with a sentiment. It was perfect to use with one
of my favorite brads from Eyelet Outlet - the bees. I love their
cute wings and shape.

I embellished the outside frame to the shadow bow with skinny
 gold washi tape (glitter) and added black pearls
to the corners. These were also Eyelet Outlet products.

I am always surprized when adding something simple 
like the washi tape provides the perfect finishing touch
to a card.

Shell Time

 

 Summer is my favorite season even though it is blazing hot here in the 

South. But we are close to the shore and we love to go hunt shells.

I could not wait to color this image from Simon Says and 

get to some fun embellishing From the Eyelet Outlet

The shell brads from Eyelet Outlet are fantastic and so realistic. In addition,
I added some gold glitter enamel dots to go with this color scheme. Finally I added
skinny glitter washi in gold to highlight the corners.

I love to make summer and sea related cards so you will be seeing

Sail Away

 

I created this cute boat scene by first using water colors. Then
I added the cute anchor brads from Eyelet Outlet.
 They come in a packet of red, white and blue and are perfect
for lake or shore scenes and the 4th of July!

I added blue glitter washi tape at the corners to brighten it up as 
well as several clear jewels from Eyelet Outlet.
 Now these bunnies are off for a 
fun day on the lake
