April Calendar Planning!

"If April showers should come your way, they bring the flowers that bloom in May." - Buddy De Sylva

I am sharing my April 2024 Calendar layout today in hopes of inspiring you to stay more organized throughout the year! I wanted to keep with the theme of "April showers bring May flowers", so I added stamps that go along with that theme! A little gal with an umbrella, some raindrops, an adorable duck and rain boots were just the perfect match!

Next, I gathered my Eyelet Outlet supplies and embellished my heart away! I added the green grass washi to anchor the bottom of my pages. I added paper flowers in yellow and white with a purple brad to my top left of my page. Brads of rainboots, daisies, roses, dragonflies, butterflies seemed like just the perfect finish! The beauty of spring is magical and I loved adding these touches to my layout!

I hope this inspires you to stay on track in organization and paper planning in 2024! Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for all your crafting needs!

Here Comes The Bride!

Do you need a elegant bridal themed card for a bridal shower or wedding?

Sometimes it is fun to think outside the box! And that was my inspiration for using the paper flowers to create a bridal skirt! After embossing the bride's bodice and fussy cutting it out. I cut and added the fancy long bling to the waist line and then began adding white paper flowers for the skirting. Embellishing with jewels from the jewel strips. Lastly, I adhered my creation on a background I created using the wide romantic washi called floral nostalgia wide.

I love how it turned out and I hope you do too! Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for all your crafting supplies!

Back To School

As summer is coming to a close, it is time to gear up for "back to school".

I created this card thinking it would be a sweet way to encourage a teacher as they prepare to head back to school or perhaps to send to your child's teacher with a little note of encouragement! My card base is the standard 4.25 x 5.50 which I trimmed with film strip washi tape. I then created my card adding stamps, distress inks, and my greeting. Next, I embellished with tape measure washi tape and dots washi tape. Lastly, I added the paper flowers in yellow and white adding some distress inks for dimension and a orange brad for the center. I hope you enjoy!

Have a juicy fun day!

Summertime brings to mind lemonade and citrusy drinks!

This citrus card could be for encouragement or birthday! It is very versatile! I loved adding the new lemon and fruit brads! One of my favorite ways to use the paper flowers is to layer them! For this card, I layered white and yellow paper flowers with a yellow brad from the summer mix! I hope you enjoy!

The Shabby Chic Armoire

The Shabby Chic Armoire

My name is Stacy Strate and I am a brand new Designer with Eyelet Outlet and beyond excited to share my creations with you! I thought my first project should be a stunner...so I present to you...The Shabby Chic Armoire.

I love all things shabby chic so creating this beauty was an absolute joy! I have a piece very similar to this in my own house so I used it as my inspiration.  You should have seen me running back and forth from room to room making sure I captured all the right details.  I got all my steps in - that's for sure!

I started with a template I purchased on Esty and was off to the races from there! I choose printed cardstock from Park Lane's Farmhouse Fresh collection and gave it a more antiqued look using Tim Holtz Distressed inks.

On the outside of the armoire, I used the 12MM Pearl Brads-Gold Edge in brown to create the door pulls. They worked out perfectly! For extra details, I added some Pearl Bling in brown, some Paper Flowers in white and hung the pink ballet slippers on a Hanger Brad.  How cute is that!

Once you open the doors, you see a beautiful party dress adorned with a Large Heart Bling in white pearl hanging on another Hanger brad. Next to the party dress is our girl’s ballet outfit decorated with several Glitter Enamel Dots in white and of course hanging on the absolutely adorable Hanger brad.

The drawers do move in and out and the 12MM Pearl Brads-Gold Edge in brown drawer pulls match the door pulls on the front.

If you look closely in the two bottom drawers, you will find some hidden treasures every little girl needs.  A camera from the Travel Brads to take pictures of all her ballet recitals and, of course, a stack of books from the Book Brads to take her on all the literary adventures possible.

On one side of the armoire, is another adorable summertime outfit decorated with the Matte Finish Enamel Dots in pink and, of course, displayed with a Hanger Brad.  The other side of the armoire is simply decorated with another 12MM Pearl Brads-Gold Edge in brown and more Pearl Bling in brown.

The completed Shabby Chic Armoire is 8" tall, 5" wide and 2.5" deep. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed creating it and don’t forget to get all your card making, scrapbooking and paper crafting embellishments from Eyelet Outlet.
