Happy Birthday Wishes!

Birthdays are a great time to share good wishes and show appreciate for those you love! And making handmade birthday cards is extra fun with Eyelet Outlet washi tapes!

For my card base, I cut white cardstock to 5.5 x 5.5 and used a grid mat to create a diagonal pattern using various glittery washi tapes and the Happy Birthday washi tape! Next, I stamped and fussy cut my cupcake base and icing. I added pink pearls for sprinkles and a birthday candle brad and adhered with foam tape. I layered on a piece of white doily and embellished with swirl purple jewel bling. I added a banner greeting and a few more sparkles!  I think it is a fun, festive, and colorful greeting that anyone would enjoy receiving on their special day!

Snowy Winter Birthday Wishes!

Do you have family and friends with winter birthdays? Here's a fun, cheery snowman that is sure to brighten their special day! 

After stamping my snowman and coloring him in with markers, I used an exacto knife to cut slits around him to place my "happy" banner. Next, I added some white glitter washi for snow and a couple snowflake brads. I added the birthday banner to the bottom and embellished with colorful balloon brads and party hats for a festive birthday card! I love the color palette of these washi tapes! And, when you can't choose just one, well... add as many as you can! I paired my assortment of washi tapes with a chalkboard sign stamp and greeting. Lastly, I added colorful balloon brads! Because, it's not a birthday party without balloons, right?? Hope you enjoy!

I love having handmade birthday cards on hand to give to friends and family in celebration of their special day! This birthday card was super fun to create using the Happy Birthday washi tape! It's a game changer!! I also loved adding the party hats, colorful summer brads, and a tiny pink pearl on my stamped party hat for extra flair!

HBD! Happy Birthday!

Happy Friday, crafty friends!  I am still working on building my stash of birthday cards, and it is so fun and easy to do using brads, as there are endless possibilities!  

I have so many dog lovers in my life, so I made a card for one of them.  I started by wrapping a strip of white card stock with Dog Washi Tape.  I trimmed the front of my card base down and adhered the washi panel to the inside of the card base.  This allows the dogs to show on the front of the card when it is closed, and on the inside panel.

I wrapped another panel of white card stock with the washi tape and I die-cut the letters "h, b, d, and !" from that panel.  I adhered the HBD diagonally to a wood-grain kraft panel.   I embellished the panel with several of the Puppy Brads and Kennel Mix Brads before adhering to the card front.

I hope you are inspired to create something today!  This card was really a lot of fun to make!

A Unicorn Birthday Wish!

 Hello, crafty friends!  I never seem to have enough birthday cards in my stash, so I thought today would be a great day to build up some of my stash!  

I am really trying to work on some clean and simple cards, because they really allow the embellishments to shine. 

I started by wrapping the edges of a card stock panel with Glitter Blue Green Washi Tape and adhered it to a pink card base.  I dry embossed the main card panel with a balloon embossing folder from my stash.  I die-cut the sentiment in teal card stock and adhered it to the embossed panel before setting some of the darling Unicorn Brads in place. I adhered the panel to the card front and added the Rainbow Brad to my bow with my hot glue gun. 

This was such a fun card to create!  I hope you are inspired to pull out your favorite embellishments and get to work!
