Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a trio of jumbo paper clips created with Eyelet Outlet bling and brads.  Eyelet Outlet has so many products to create all kinds of projects.

I used dies to create the jumbo paper clips.  Then I decorated the paper clips with a pink jewel brad, square jewel, oval jewel, silver glitter enamel dots, and clear jewel bling.

These paper clips would be fun in a journal or folio.  The possibilities are endless with Eyelet Outlet products.  Thank you for visiting the blog today.  I hope this inspires you to create a fun project.  Please visit Eyelet Outlet for creative supplies and inspiration.

Bring On the Bling!

I (Lauren) am still mildly obsessed with all the beautiful glittery *BLING* options available in the Eyelet Outlet store! This time, I've combined some of my favorite shapes with stencils and blendy ink!

For my first card, I used a favorite stencil with a mixture of different sized Maltese crosses. I blended several shades of blue and purple ink, over some designer paper with a subtle "resist" pattern built into it. I added Purple Flower Jewels ringed with Clear Bling to the largest; Single Gems to the smallest, and a mix of Blue Pearls and a few Teardrop Jewels (coming soon the the shop!!!) to the rest.

This lacy, floral stencil was a bit of a challenge, because it wasn't quite large enough to cover the entire panel on the front of my A2 card. So I filled as much of the bottom of the card as I could cover; then moved the stencil up to the top... and covered the seam with Pink Foil TapeGlitter Gold Washi and Long Bling Strips. I scattered a few more Flower Jewels over the design and added bits of a Champagne Bling Swirl that I had snipped apart to make it fit better!

A regular, geometric pattern is often less appealing to me, but as a base for bling, it turned out to be really fun. this time I created my own pattern around the inked diamonds, using Green Flower JewelsClear Oval Gems and snippets of a Green Pearl Strip.

I hope you'll be inspired to combine Eyelet Outlet Bling with some of your favorite stencils, I'd love to see what sorts of designs you can come up with!

Christmas Stocking Gift Card Holder

Today I created a Christmas Stocking that holds a secret gift card inside.

I created my own template and traced it once onto the polka dot paper and a second time onto the red paper for the back of the stocking.  I paper pieced the heel and toe and then added faux stitching.  My faux stitching looks a lot like my real stitching ... a little uneven and wonky ... but as my Grandma always told me "That's how they'll know it's hand-made".

I adhered the bottom of the stocking together and only taped the sides around the top, so the gift card has a place to slip inside.  The top is about 4 1/4" wide flap that I decorated with Merry Christmas Washi Tape and Oval Gems before tying it closed with coordinating ribbon.

When you slide off the ribbon, this is what it looks like inside ... decorated with some Silver Star Washi tape for sparkle.

just because card by Marina Gridasova

Hello friends! It's Marina here again with my new card. I used a lot of blings in it, so let it shine )))
 details:

As the first layer I used Oval Jewels and add coverplate with triangles. Adhere your washi tape to the white cardstock and use favourite die for the main composition. After all you have to do is just add your embellishments - I used flowers, ribbon, chipboard and berries. As always final step to make intresting look - use fifferent textures and accents! I used brads and enamels )))

Eyelet Outlet products:
Coloring book butterfly brads
Oval Jewels - Clear
Oval Jewels - Yellow/Pink
Enamel dots - Purple
Foil washi tape - Leaf

Hope you will like my card ))))

Under the Strawberry Moon

Inspiration is such an interesting thing, don't you think? It can come from absolutely anywhere! For example, just over a month ago, I (Lauren) had never heard the expression "Strawberry Moon" (referring to a full moon in the month of June; traditionally thought to be the best time for picking strawberries) but as soon as I did, all I could think of was strawberry-themed papercrafting projects. Luckily I had nearly a whole package of luscious Eyelet Outlet Strawberry Brads to help me out!

I made a card first, mostly because I thought of a fun/punny sentiment, and I can never resist those, lol.

I scattered Strawberry Brads and strawberry flowers --made from the smallest White Paper Flower Layers with Yellow Oval Bling centers-- in a cascade down the front of the card, surrounding the sentiment, for which I combined die-cut letters and a few tiny alphabet stickers.

Next I decorated a little cardstock box with more White Paper Flower Layers held on with a Strawberry Brad. Gift-wrapping is probably my favorite "alternate" use for crafting supplies; because really, we all secretly want to receive a very fancy package now and then, don't we?

Were you inspired by the Strawberry Moon, as well? If so, I'd love to see what you made, leave me a link in the comments! ♥
