Before you recycle your paper maps, you should know that they are the perfect background for Eyelet Outlet Classic Car and Driving Brads! As well as cards, old maps work brilliantly as gift wrap; which, in this case, has been adorned with some EO Road Washi Tape to continue the car theme.

Keep Calm

Months ago, when our driving brads "rolled out," I had this idea in my mind, but never made it happen. The last ten days I've been under the weather suffering from oak pollen allergies and have hardly gotten off the sofa (which is why you didn't hear from me last week). My housework and laundry are piling up and I actually DO feel like the wheels are coming off!

I created this pocket envelope and the car with my Cricut, using the slice tool to cut the existing wheels off of the the car.

I added a few Eyelet Outlet wheel brads from the Driving Brads set to the front as though they were bouncing off the car. The digital paper on the inside of my pocket envelope is from The Digi Rainbow on Etsy. The set is called, "Beep Beep."  For the card that slips into the envelope, I added a strip of Eyelet Outlet grass washi tape and then on top of that I added a strip of our road washi tape

Hopefully I'm no the road to recovery now! Thanks for stopping by today.

WHEELY Happy Birthday!

Ok - Pun Alert!  I think you're WHEELY gonna love Eyelet Outlet's new Driving Brads!  For this card I used some awesome digital paper from The Digi Rainbow's Etsy shop called "Beep Beep."  The little cars on these papers paired so perfectly with Eyelet Outlet's car brads and the wheel patterned paper from the set really told the story and complemented our new tire brad from the Driving Brads set.

I used a tire tread from the Cricut image library on the sentiment and what car themed card would be complete without a strip of Eyelet Outlet's Road Washi Tape which tied my two digital papers together.

See the new Driving Brads as well as our other new brads at Eyelet Outlet!

Thank You Teacher!

Hi everyone! Janet here with a cute little teacher appreciation card. In my area, next week is the official time to thank all the teachers in the District and that inspired me to make this card today.

Eyelet Outlet has so many animal brads. I have this bus stamp and die in my stash and I was delighted to find that the EO animals are sized to fit perfectly in the windows. I know that none of the teachers are going to get a card as fun and cute as this one!

Have you noticed the great wide road, train track, water and sky washi tapes in the EO store? I have found so many great uses for them. They make it so easy to set a scene like I did here.

SHOPPING LIST:

Thanks for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brad, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!

Happy Creating Everyone!

Sending smiles across the miles

Hello, Eyelet Outlet fans! I hope you've had a great week! Leslie here sharing an adorable 'missing you' card that sure reminded me of growing up in a rural area and being the only vehicle on the road sometimes for miles and miles! This card features an assortment of very cool washi tape and brads!

I created a standard A2 size top-folding landscape card base from Neenah Solar White and then cut a panel on which I built my washi tape scene. I applied a strip of Sky Washi Tape - Wide first, then worked my way up from the bottom with two strips of Grass Washi Tape and a strip of Road Washi Tape. I added the little Red Truck Brad and the Summer Tree Brads. The final step was stamping the birds and sentiment in black ink.

I embellished the inside panel with a strip of the Grass Washi Tape, stamped the sentiment in black ink and layered the panel on green cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - we'll see you next time!
