Paper Flower Embellished Gift Box

Today I have a pretty gift box to show you that I embellished with Eyelet Outlet paper flowers. They've been marked down and there's still many colors to choose from.

I used some of our green leaf brads next to the flower and I added a round pearl brad to the center.

I made this particular box on my Cricut, but these flowers made lovely embellishments for any gift box you're using.

Stock up now while supplies last on all the beautiful colors!

Shark Week!

In honor of Discovery's 38th annual Shark Week, here's a fun little tag featuring Eyelet Outlet's shark brads! I also used some of our amazing water washi tape on this tag. Sadly, that product has now sold out during our liquidation, but if you were luck enough to score some and have it in your stash, here's a fun way to use it. The large shark is from the Cricut image library.

Hope you have a JAWSOME day!

Geared Up for School!

School is beginning soon and it's a great time to send some snail mail to a child in your life to wish them a fantastic school year!

I found this cute little robot in the Cricut image library and used the offset feature to create a shaped card base. I sliced a hole in the center and lined it with acetate to hold my shaker bits. Rather than the usual sequins used in most shaker cards, I took the prongs off the backs of these Eyelet Outlet gear brads and they became my shaker content.

This little card is absolutely "EYE POPPING," thanks to a couple of Eyelet Outlet eyeball brads! LOL!

Here's the inside of the card. If you're a Cricut crafter and would like to create this project, I've shared the link on my Cricut profile

HA-PEA BIRTHDAY!

I'm sure by now you've heard the news, that after 25 years of supplying the best brads, bling, enamel shapes, washi and more, Suzanne and Tony, the owners of Eyelet Outlet will be retiring at the end of the year. It's been a huge privilege to have served on the Eyelet Outlet Design Team for over 10 years. I've been reflecting on our years together over the past few weeks and I thought it would be fun to share some blasts from the past as we wrap up this time together.

The wide variety of enamel dots and shapes have always been a favorite product for me. On this card, made in 2017, I used flat top green enamel dots as peas and honestly, I think they look good enough to eat! I added some green swirl bling on the pea pod and card face as well as inside the little diamond shape border. There's a strip of green and white washi tape down the left side of the card. This particular tape has already sold out, but there's still some beautiful tapes available, so be sure and browse through them and fill your carts while supplies last! There's still a great selection of our enamel dots and shapes available at amazing prices, so be sure and stock up, as there's so many ways to use them!

Thanks for stopping by to reminisce with me today!

America 250 Years

Let Eyelet Outlet help you get your red, white, and blue on! For this project I used a star background from the Cricut image library. The 250 image is also from Cricut. I used red glitter iron-on for some extra sparkle and embellished with red and blue star brads.

We're wishing all of our Eyelet Outlet fans a very happy and safe Fourth of July this coming weekend!

Then Sings My Soul

My thoughts turned to my Dad the other day and I fondly remembered how he whistled the lovely old hymn, "How Great Thou Art" as he worked splitting and stacking fire wood. And since I have heard that the angels are near when cardinals appear, this card practically made itself.

Surrounding the first words of the chorus is a simple wreath that I embellished with Eyelet Outlet music note brads. To the pine branch, I added one of our pinecone brads and a cardinal brad. The enamel heart brought it home. ❤

This week, instead of my photo at the bottom of the post, here's a picture of Dad. Most likely he was whistling in this photo.

Wise Owl

This might sound a little sarcastic, but I think my wise older brother can handle it! I haven't used the Eyelet Outlet sketched owl brad very much and I don't know why! He's so cool!

I wanted some more dimension and shine, so I added some of our silver glitter stars and dots to the night sky. The night sky background as well as the branch are from the Cricut image library.

Liquidation is under way at Eyelet Outlet, so stop by and fill your cart with these and many other amazing products!

You’re A Cut Above

You're going to want to grab a few law mower brads while they're still available! I used one on this project to let a great dad know that he's a "Cut Above the Rest!"

I chose a big bold font and then sliced the word, "Dad," from a grass digital pattern in Cricut Design Space and added the lawn mower brad to the word.

Eyelet Outlet's lovely colored daisy brads in the yard added a bright a cheerful touch. The package contains pink, purple, and yellow daisies.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you've found some fun ways to honor dad as the team has brought lots of fun inspiration this week.

You're so AL "LURE" ING!

Why wait for Valentine's Day to send your sweetie a love note?! Let them know how hooked you are today with this punny fishing themed card.

Use one of Eyelet Outlet's fishing lure brads to convey how alluring they are to you and carry the theme forward with a wide mouth bass brad on the line. The fishing pole I used is from the Cricut image library, as is the little pond. I used one of cat tail brads from our frog brad set. It wouldn't be a love note without a heart, so I added a little black enamel heart.

Take Me!

Some days we all feel like we've had enough of crazy! Here's a funny little card that will cheer someone who can relate.

For this card I had planned to put two aliens in the space ship, but I realized I only had one left in my stash, so I opted for his buddy, a one-eyed monster brad and I think it worked great! I added a little red bling to the space ship and they're ready for take off! But will they return for the little girl who is begging to go?

You're the G.O.A.T.

There is no doubt about it - I am incredibly blessed with a set of friends who ARE the G.O.A.T.  They truly are the greatest of all time, so today's card is made with a very grateful heart for the many ways they look out for me.

If you've ever spent any time around goats, you know that there's nothing they won't climb. There's no mountain high enough for them, so I used a snow capped mountain image and put my Eyelet Outlet goat brad on top. I added a few of our pine tree brads on the left side, and in the higher elevation I added a a snowy tree brad

Here's a fun birthday card for a little one in your life! The train track border is an image from Cricut Design Space as is the caution sign/light.

I embellished this card with a few of the Eyelet Outlet train brads and on the caution light, I added some of our red jeweled bling. All aboard the liquidation train for the bling!! There is still lots of gorgeous bling left, but when it's gone, it's gone! You won't want to miss out on these great prices!

Sew Awesome

Let your mom know how awesome she is with a handmade card this Mother's Day. I used several Eyelet Outlet products to embellish this one and I love how it turned out.

I used a Cricut image for the pin cushion and I added some of Eyelet Outlet's small yellow enamel dots to the heads of the pins, I used our amazing thread brads on the card. I tucked a piece of white thread in behind the white spool which really added interest and texture. I topped off this little sewing center with a some black enamel hearts.

I SEW appreciate your stopping by today and I hope you'll be making your mom a special card!

God Makes A Way

We have had drought conditions here in Central Texas and so we were very thankful when the heavens opened up over the weekend and we received over 3" of rain on our parched ground!

To celebrate here's a card I made recently reminding us that God will make a way! This desert watercolor by Cricut Contributing Artist, Elen, made the perfect backdrop for this inspirational card.

I embellished the landscape with three Eyelet Outlet cactus brads and the blazing sun brad in the sky was a perfect addition to this card.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you stop by the Eyelet Outlet site today and add some cactus brads to your cart.

I hope everyone's heard about the great deals on Eyelet Outlet bling! Get it while it lasts and you will be glad you did, because possibilities for it are endless!

Today I have a rather "majestic" birthday card for you that is blinged out with our clear tear drop bling (available in blue and pearl, too), some clear bling strip, and some jeweled bling in clear and pink. More colors of that are available, too.

I used some foam tape to attach the crown to the card base which gave it a little more pop. Stock up on bling today!

I added some of our swirl bling in Silver Pearl on either side of the crown, too.

Squeeze The Day

I knew I wanted to make a lemonade themed card, but I couldn't decide between a pitcher of lemonade or some glasses, so I made both.

Using my Cricut, I sliced an openings in each card for the pitcher and also for the glasses. I added some acetate to the back to create a window. I added the Eyelet Outlet lemon slice brads to the bottom layer and then used foam tape to adhere the window layer. This created lots of dimension to the card. On the card with the glasses I also added the pitcher of lemonade that is included in this brad set. There's lime and orange slices in this set, too!

Stop by the Eyelet Outlet store today and put some of these refreshing lemonade and fruit brads in your cart! There's a lot of possibilities with this set, in fact, I'm thinking of another idea as I write this! Don't forget to add some enamel hearts to your cart, too!

SHORE Thankful For You

I've had my beach themed brads out on my craft desk the last few weeks and have had a great time creating different projects with them.

Today I have a thank you card to share with you featuring Eyelet Outlet's amazingly realistic shell brads and sea shore brads. I created sort of a shaker card with a window in the card base with my Cricut and covered the opening in the bottle with acetate. I fastened the brads in the bottom layer. There's a little crab brad passing by, too. I topped it off with a few clouds floating by in the sky and I love how this turned out!

To Be Young Again

I celebrated my birthday last week with my family and a few days of keeping up with my 2 and 6 year old grandchildren had me thinking the "young" ship has definitely sailed and certainly inspired this project!

I loved this beach water color graphic from Cricut Design Space that I used for the back ground. I added a ship from Eyelet Outlet's cruise brad set, a palm tree on the shore and a sea shell corner brad. The sky was calling for one of our cloud brads, too.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Retro Day

In honor of National Retro Day tomorrow, I thought I'd celebrate a couple of our awesome retro themed brads. First up, our old fashion telephone!

I've had this telephone themed patterned scrap paper in my stash for quite some time and today was the day to use it. The retro looking woman talking on the phone is from the Cricut image library and using print then cut, I created two circles and added a couple of our telephone brads. This was a quick and simple card, perfect for catching up with an old friend.

Next up, our classic antique typewriter brad is taking center-stage on an antique desk. I printed off a little love note message to tuck in behind the typewriter. I also added a vase of flowers to the desk using our mini stitched fall flowers. and as I often do, I topped this project off with an enamel heart in black.

Since I'm old enough to have talked on a phone like this and I learned to type on a typewriter similar to this one, does that make me retro?
