Bloom!

Eyelet Outlet Flower Brads are ALWAYS a good idea for adding color and charm to a card, plus they pair really well with stamped or diecut vases, jars and planters! Here we have a vase full of Rose Brads and one of White Daisy Brads which have attracted the attention of a Mini Bee Brad. The background is Wide Sky Washi; the sentiment is diecut from Grass Tape; and the base of the planter is a single strip of Wood Tape. A scatter of white Round Sequins completes the design.

He is Risen!

I love celebrating Easter! I love making memories with my family, giving Easter baskets, enjoying a traditional Easter dinner, and Easter egg hunting! But, more importantly, I love basking in the reason for our celebrating! Our Risen Savior, the hope of the world for indeed He is Risen!

I love creating backgrounds using Eyelet Outlet washi tapes! This background is called "Time for Flowers" and because it is a wider style, I only needed 3 rows. Next, I created my cross using the wood washi adhered to cardstock and my purple drape from the purple washi. I added white flowers in 2 different sizes with a little shading of pink distress ink and a green jewel for embellishment. Lastly, I stamped my Easter greeting! He is Risen! Yes, He is Risen, Indeed! I hope you have a blessed Easter Sunday celebrating with family and friends!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for all your crafting needs!

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Flower Brads are never out of season, and Eyelet Outlet Rose Brads make any card a bit more elegant. These are mixed with Mini Leaf Brads and climbing up a fancy diecut greenhouse, which is layered on foam tape over a panel of Garden Mushroom Washi Tape to give the illusion of depth. Near the sentiment are some Garden Tool Brads and hovering just above, a beautiful Butterfly Brad.

Peer inside to see all of the gorgeous plants and flowers on that Garden Mushroom Washi, which has been trimmed and layered to give the impression of one big scene.

Eyelet Outlet has brads, tapes, bling, flowers and more; every embellishment you could wish, for every card you dream of making!

is better at making garden cards than actually gardening!

Life in Bloom

I love roses and the new brads from the Eyelet Outlet are
fabulous. I also love that the brads come in a packet of various
red and pink colors. This always gives you options for your projects.

For this card I used a mostly pink/purple color palette including enamel
dots and pink glitter washi. The glitter washi from Eyelet Outlet is the
best since the glitter never rubs off and is so sparkly. For some
added bling I also used some pink jewels. Check out the shopping
list below for all your needs at Eyelet Outlet.

Merry Christmas Lantern

It's July and of course that gets me thinking of Christmas in July. I wanted to use the uber cute Penguin Brads and Polar Bear Brads and this seemed like a great time to pull them out even if it is 95 degrees outside right now!

I made the background using the Santa Washi Tape in strips on top of a white card base. I had a snowflake embossed vellum rectangle in my stash that I had left over from a different project and I think it's great on top of the Santa background. I die cut the lantern and glued it to the velum. The lantern was the perfect size for one of the penguins and bears. These are so cute together in this little scene!

I used my Cricut to cut the banner but I lined the white cardstock with both the Silver Star Foil Washi and the Glitter Gold Washi before I cut it. I have not done this before but it worked great. You can do the same thing with any steel dies too. I love that I can get a bit of glitter and shine without cutting into an expensive glitter or foiled cardstock. Once cut, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder.

To finish it, I layered two of our Red Paper Flowers together and put White Glitter Enamel Dots in the center to create a pointsettia look. I also used Silver Glitter Enamel Dots on the banner.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy a little Christmas this July!

Thanks a Bunch!

Hi Everyone!
Now that all the snow is gone (for most of us, anyway),
I can't wait to get outside and start gardening!

Which is where I got my inspiration for my Project!

I attached the flower pot to the pillow box then added the quicklet flowers.
Then I added the garden tool brads to the bottom of the Pot.

I overlapped the flowers to make the pot look fuller.

Christams Cards & CKC Seattle

Eyelet Outlet is in Seattle this weekend.  Come by the booth and say hi!!!

http://www.ckscrapbookevents.com/CKScrapbookConventions/CKCSeattle.aspx
Hi all Erin here.  I joined in on a Christmas Card swap to make 10 cards to mail off and receive 10 cards back - for more info on the swap please leave a comment and I can fill you in.  When doing a mini mass production of cards sticking with a simple concept and working with your supplies is always a plus. Here is my set of 10 cards for the swap.

All the cards have the same items on them except for the brad, that changed color and shape as the Eyelet Outlet pack was a variety pack of 12, so I still have 2 left!!  Working with a variety of 12x12 sheets of paper and cutting them up for layers is an easy way to use up what you have instead of having to go out and buy a ton of one paper pattern.  Here is my video tutorial on how to make these fun cards.

Here is the card with a gold ornament brad instead of the green one.
Time to start getting your cards ready, Christmas is just around the corner!!
