Hoot Hoot Hooray!

Hello everyone!  I'm Deb, and I'm happy to be here to make my first post as a design team member for the Eyelet Outlet!

If you're like I am, you absolutely LOVE getting new supplies to play with!  You've already seen examples of what an amazing box of goodies we received when we joined the Eyelet Outlet design team.  Inspiration overload!  Yes, it's usually easy to find inspiration when you have that hot new product in your hand...but on the other hand, you don't want the rest of your stash to be neglected either!

I really love how something new can give a fresh perspective on what you already have, and that's what happened with this card.  Some cute new pastel owl brads and some washi tape inspired me to pull out a long forgotten paper pad and stamp set for a quick birthday card.

The washi tape greeting on the front was fast and simple to put together and, with a border of striped paper, was framed perfectly by the design of the layer underneath.  The inside is just as cute as the outside, too!  I made a little banner with some My Favorite Things dies, and added a stamped sentiment from The Stamps of Life.

I hope you'll take a look through our store and then through your stash to see what new ideas come to mind!
