Deck the Halls (and Cards!) with Eyelet Outlet Brads and Bling!
Hello, crafty friends! Are you ready to add some serious sparkle and charm to your last minute holiday cards? Today, I'm excited to share a recent creation that’s bursting with festive cheer, all thanks to some amazing embellishments from Eyelet Outlet. If you love brads, bling, and a touch of vintage flair, you’re in for a treat!
For this card, I wanted to create a rich, traditional holiday feel with a bit of a whimsical twist. I started with a striking red background, which I embossed with a beautiful poinsettia pattern. This instantly adds texture and depth, making the red pop even more.
Next, the star of the show - the Christmas tree! I cut a classic tree shape and then went wild with the bling, carefully trimming it with five different colors of gorgeous gems. They cascade down the branches like sparkling garland, catching the light beautifully.
Strip Bling - Clear, Blue, Purple, Red and Orange
12mm Stippled Jewel Brads
Snow Couple Brads
Tree - Retro Brads

Twinkling Christmas Cheer
I used a gift bag die to create the bag and added the pearl bling strip to mimic the light strand. The light brads on the pearl strip remind me of the outdoor lights on houses. Something about those lights make the season feel bright and full of wonder. The eyelets elevate the bag and provide stability for the ribbon handles.
There is something magical about Christmas lights, especially a strand of retro lights, reminds me of childhood Christmas decorations. Thank you for visiting the blog today. I hope this inspires you to create a gift bag for someone special using Eyelet Outlet products. Please visit Eyelet Outlet for creative supplies and inspiration.

It's a Wrap!
Christmas gift wrapping 2025 is now complete. I actually love gift wrapping, unlike many of my friends and family. I usually use my Cricut to create unique embellishments for my gifts and I especially love adding Eyelet Outlet products for an extra pop.
I made several of these gift bags this year and decided to add belly bands to the tops to keep them closed, serving a double purpose - to keep prying eyes from peeking inside before Christmas and also to give me another opportunity for embellishments!

🎄 Washi Wonderland: Crafting a Trio of Festive Christmas Trees
The holiday season is officially here, and what better way to celebrate than by diving into a fun, sparkly, and relatively simple card-making project? Today, I’m sharing how I created a charming Christmas card featuring three unique trees, all brought to life with the magic of washi tape and a little bit of festive bling!
If you love combining patterns and textures, this technique is a must-try. It's an easy way to get a lot of visual impact without needing a huge stamp collection.
Step 1: Building the Washi Forest Foundation
The key to this design is creating patterned 'sheets' of cardstock using washi tape, which you then cut into your desired shape—in this case, triangles for our trees.
Gather Your Washi: I chose five different patterns of Christmas or winter-themed washi tape. I went for a mix of patterns and glitter tapes to keep things interesting.
The Technique: Take a piece of scrap cardstock (plain white works well) and begin laying your washi tapes side-by-side, covering the entire surface.
Tip: Vary the order and width of the tapes for each of the three trees to give them distinct looks. You want three unique washi collages!
Cut the Trees: Once your cardstock is fully covered, cut the washi-covered pieces into three different-sized triangles. These will be your main tree shapes.
Step 2: Creating the Snowy Landscape
To ground the design and add a touch of winter shimmer, I incorporated three strips of white glitter washi tape.
I applied glitter strips across the bottom portion of the main card front. This immediately suggests a snow-covered landscape.
The three washi trees were then adhered to the card front, positioning them so their bases sit below the glittery 'snow line.' The visual effect is that they are standing proudly in a fresh snowfall!
Step 3: Decking the Boughs with Bling!
Now for the best part—decorating the trees! No Christmas tree is complete without a little sparkle.
Snowflake Studs: I used Snowflake Brads in the blue sky background to suggest a light snowfall. Brads add great dimension and a little metallic shine.
Jewel Bling Ornaments: To simulate colorful ornaments, I raided my stash of self-adhesive acrylic jewels. I used a total of seven different colors in various sizes.
The variety in size and color makes the trees look richly decorated and festive.
The jewels catch the light beautifully and truly elevate the card from simple washi craft to a stunning holiday keepsake.
The Final Result
The combination of layered patterned washi, sparkling white glitter, metallic brads, and colorful jewels creates a sophisticated yet playful Christmas card. The process is incredibly meditative, allowing you to play with pattern and color without the complexity of traditional stamping or die-cutting. It’s a fantastic way to use up all those tiny washi tape remnants and jewel scraps you’ve been hoarding!

Fa La La La Latte
Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a coffee gift card envelope made with Eyelet Outlet's holiday coffee cup brads, snowflake bling, and enamel dots holiday red/green. Eyelet Outlet has fun Christmas and winter embellishments to add to handmade gift packaging.
I used dies to create the gift card envelope and the center coffee cup. I added a coffee cup brad on either side of the die cut coffee cup. Tip - As an alternative to securing brads with the metal fasteners, remove the clips from the back of the brad and adhere with foam squares. To decorate the coffee cup die cut, I added a snowflake bling. The red enamel dots add texture and finish out the design.

Poinsettia Card
Poinsettias are one of my favorite flowers. They take me back to when I was a little girl and I'd get the occasional opportunity to visit my aunt at work at the local greenhouse. At Christmas time there were hundreds of potted poinsettias waiting to be delivered to churches and homes all around the area.

It's Garden Time Somewhere!
It's definitely winter but as we start getting closer to Christmas, I can't help but start thinking ahead. This card will be given intentionally to a friend who has a January birthday. She told me once that she hated January as a birthday month because it was when all the holiday credit card payments were due and everything was gloomy and cold. Well, it's not going to be cold and gloomy on this card!
This is a mini-slimline card. It measures 3 1/2 x 6. It's one of my favorite card sizes. It's not too big and it's not too small but it's a unique size that you don't see sold in the mass market. I made this one by stamping some mini flower, butterfly, fence, and bee images on white cardstock. Then I colored them with Copic markers. I layered Gnome Washi Tape on white cardstock before cutting out the B.D.A.Y letters. I offset these adorable letters over offset black letters and put each on foam pads for really great dimension on the card.
To make this even more garden-like, I added several mini butterfly and mini bee brads. Finally, I added three gold glitter enamels to the top corner.
