You're the G.O.A.T.

There is no doubt about it - I am incredibly blessed with a set of friends who ARE the G.O.A.T.  They truly are the greatest of all time, so today's card is made with a very grateful heart for the many ways they look out for me.

If you've ever spent any time around goats, you know that there's nothing they won't climb. There's no mountain high enough for them, so I used a snow capped mountain image and put my Eyelet Outlet goat brad on top. I added a few of our pine tree brads on the left side, and in the higher elevation I added a a snowy tree brad

A Little Globe of Christmas Magic

Hello Crafty Friends - Today I am sharing a winter snow globe tag made with Eyelet Outlet's tree brads-snow, glitter winter washi tape, and 1/16 tiny eyelets-single colors.  Discover a wide variety of creative products for your crafting projects at Eyelet Outlet.

I used a snow globe tag die to create the base for the design.  For the snowy background I used the glitter winter washi tape.  To continue the look of snow I used white glitter paper.  For dimension and to complete the scene I used tree brads-snow.  A silver quicklet eyelet reinforces the hole at the top. The quicklet eyelets are so easy to use with the eyelet setter.  No Crop-A-Dile punch tool needed.

This wintery tag will add that special touch to a gift for someone special.  Thank you for visiting the blog today.  I hope this inspires you to create a fun project using Eyelet Outlet products.  Please visit Eyelet Outlet for creative supplies and inspiration.

Santa's Ready to Sleigh!

One of my favorite things about card making is making scenes. EO's washi tapes, brads, bling and other accessories really give us a lot to work with for making scenes. I created this one located at Santa's workshop in the North Pole. It looks chilly but warms my heart!

I used Glitter Winter Washi Tape, one of my favorites, to create the winter tree scene in the background. I used Aleene's True Snow with glitter sprinkled on the top for the snow part of the scene. While it dried, I stamped, colored and cut out Santa's Workshop and the light pole.

I added the stamped images to the card front and then all the brads. The true charm of this scene comes from Santa, his sleigh, a deer, a poinsettia on the light pole and snowy trees, and a Merry Christmas saying. It looks like Santa is ready to leave for his big night!

Winter Wishes

We are in the heart of winter and my thoughts are on quiet snowy nights where the snow dampens all the sound and nature dominates a magical world. My card is in memory of those peaceful evenings when I lived in Minnesota and North Dakota.

I've made a card with a domed snow globe. Inside are silver Snowflake Sequins, Deer Brads and Tree Snow Brads. The wintery globe background is Sparkle White Glitter Washi Tape and Glitter Star Washi Tape. The card mat is cardstock lined with Deer Washi Tape. I added Snowflake Bling for decoration. This comes in white, red and green but the white is perfect for this card.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Eyelet Outlet Glitter Tape and Winter Wildlife Brads are not JUST for Christmas, this is the perfect time to employ them for post-holiday thank you cards! The mama and baby Polar Bear Brads are right at the edge of the wide Glitter Tall Trees Tape, framed up by Glitter Gold Tape. The handsome Deer has paused near a Snowy Tree Brad in front of some gorgeous Glitter Winter Tape (like the Tall Trees Tape it's 1.25" wide... perfect for scenes!) framed by Glitter Blue.

Whether you need to make fast Thank You cards or just get moving on winter birthdays and Valentines, the Eyelet Outlet Online Store has all the embellishments you could wish for!

Money Roll Gift

Hello and Merry Christmas Eve! If you're like most of us, you are wrapping those last gifts. I'm with you! My son is the age when cash is king but I can't stand just to put it in a boring card or typical money card. I made a money roll with a gift bag and made it fabulous with many EO products. I am sure my son will really enjoy this gift and the entertainment of unrolling the money to see how much it is.

If you're not sure what a money roll is, it's a mini box with a slit in the top which allows you to insert a roll of cash. I connected the bills with Snow Flake Washi Tape. This allowed me to connect the money but not worry about it tearing the bills when my son takes it apart after opening.

Once connected, I rolled the money strip up and inserted into a little box that sits inside the bag. Pull on the label and the money will unroll. Super fun!

Once I made the gift bag, I decorated it with Red Strip Bling, Santa and Deer Brads, Snowy Tree Brads, Snowflake Bling and three washi tapes: Sparkle White Glitter, Pine Tree, and Snow Flake. I love how this project turned out.

Jingle Bells!

Can you hear the bells ringing yet? It's almost Christmas and today I'm celebrating with a card that celebrates many iconic Christmas icons. The great news is that there's so much to choose from at Eyelet Outlet!

On my card I've included bell brads hanging from the sentiment. At the bottom of the card, Santa & Mrs. Claus brads are surrounded with Snow Tree Brads. On top, I've added a Sleigh Brad and a deer from the Santa & Deer Brads. The red background couldn't be simpler since it was created with strips of Ho Ho Let It Snow Washi Tape. Yes, indeed! Christmas Advent Envelopes

A fun Christmas season tradition of ours is to have an Advent calendar! This year, I thought it would be fun to have an envelope countdown! Each day counting down to Christmas you get to open an envelope! You could be treated to a gift card for a coffee or treat or it could be a "coupon" for a fun, family outing!

In this envelope, you could add a "coupon" to go caroling to a nursing home or in your neighborhood. Another idea would be to drive through a neighborhood that has a lot of holiday lights on display. Crank up the Christmas music and enjoy hot cocoa as you drive around!

Oh, I had so much fun creating this envelope! This one would be perfect for a "coupon" to visit a Christmas tree farm to select your tree! I hope you are inspired to create your own countdown envelopes to make time for memory making this holiday season! Extra tip: I would add my date numbers after planning which night is best for what treat or event!

December Calendar and Bucket List!

Do you have your December Calendar and bucket list ready to go?

The holidays are always such a busy and joyful time for making memories! I decided to go ahead and set up my December calendar with a bucket list of memory making items we would like to do before Christmas!

I enjoyed adding the Eyelet Outlet brads and washi tapes I had on hand to create a fun layout! To create the matching Christmas pajamas, I covered the white t-shirt brad from the jeans and t-shirt brad collection with snowman washi and used an exacto knife to cut off the excess!

From visiting the Christmas Tree Farm to watching a Christmas movie, I hope you make time to make memories with those you love!  Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

Snowy Neighborhood Buckle Fold Card

A few weeks ago I'd never heard of a buckle fold card, but after learning about them from my friend Janet, I'm addicted to them!  They lend themselves so well to Eyelet Outlet products, too! Here's one of my recent ones.

I created this card in Cricut Design Space, but there are many tutorials on YouTube for this type card using paper punches if you don't have a Cricut.

I decorated the front of the card with a holly brad on the house and a couple of little caroler brads at the door.  On the buckle part of the card I used a snowy tree brad and a snowman.

Here's what the card looks like when it's open. There's so many opportunities for decorating this type of card, I am sure you'll be seeing more of these from me in future posts.

If you are a Cricut crafter and would like to create this card, I've shared the file on my Cricut Profile in the Cricut Community on Design Space.

A Christmas Scene

Hi crafty friends!  Today, I am sharing a fun card that is WAY outside of my wheelhouse, but I had so much fun creating!

I began with a piece of patterned paper that I have been dying to use.  I inked up the edges with my ink pad, and then I added several fun winter-themed brads (listed below) to add some dimension and fill in the white space.   Lastly, I created a sparkly panel to go behind my sentiment with glitter washi added a sparkly snowflake in the corner!
I love how the brads stand out against the additional images on the patterned paper!

Penguin Party

Here is some fun with a penguin party. I think the little igloo must
be where the party is tonight. For this card I stamped the igloo and the water
using images from Peddlers Den. Then I water colored the scene and used a
sentiment which placed perfectly in the sky. For the frame I used washi tape from
Eyelet Outlet & Brads, The brads also from Eyelet Outlet & Brads featured the snow tree
and, of course, the penguins. Finally, I added a bit of washi to the corner and gems.
Tex Snow and a little glitter rounded out the scene.

The Eyelet Outlet shopping list for today is
Penguin Brads
Snow Tree Brads
Color Wheel Washi
Bumpy Bling (clear)

Cardinals for the Holidays

I am thrilled to finally get a chance to use the red cardinal brads
from Eyelet Outlet. We frequently see red cardinals in our backyard
and are always amazed by their brilliant color.

For this card, I first stamped an ornament from Our Daily Bread.
I colored it in with Copics then cut it out and added a red bow.
The red cardinal brads really show up nice on just stark white.
But I felt I needed to add to the corners and I added the Bird Pine washi tape
from Eyelet Outlet. It is perfect for holiday cards. I finished the
corners with the new tree brads from Eyelet Outlet and some bling.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello Christmas Crafters and Card Makers! Here is a card I created with a postage stamp style image and fun Eyelet Outlet accessories!

I started with the Christmas postage stamp image and added some coloring to the background using alcohol markers. I then added some sparkle glitter for snow and embellished with the Snow Tree Brads. To create my background I stamped the sentiment in blue to coordinate with the border washi tape called "glitter tall tree washi tape wide" and added the most adorable little reindeer brads from the set Santa Deer Brads!

I hope you are making great progress on your Christmas crafts and greeting cards! Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

Carolers at the Church

Hey everybody! I hope last week was a good one and you're enjoying your weekend! Leslie here, back with one more guest design project showcasing our Caroler Brads and Snow Tree Brads on an adorable church box card adorned with 3mm Champagne Jewel Bling Strips and a sentiment on the back created with Christmas Holly Washi Tape! And being a box card means it folds flat for mailing!

I cut all the pieces from ivory and metallic antique gold cardstock. I used a yellow alcohol marker to color the windows.

After assembling the church, I added the Caroler Brads and Snow Tree Brads, and then embellished all three sections with 3mm Champagne Jewel Bling Strips.

This box card has a pull-out element with plenty of room to write a custom message. The final touch was adding a sentiment on the back pocket created with a strip of Christmas Holly Washi Tape applied to a scrap of ivory cardstock, trimmed, and layered on antique gold cardstock.

Sweet Snowman with Carolers

Hey everybody! I hope last week was a good one and you're enjoying your weekend! Leslie here, back again as your Saturday hostess and guest designer, sharing a snowman box card featuring the new Caroler Brads and Snow Tree Brads along with the Christmas Holly Washi Tape (for the sentiment) that's already in the store! This was such a fun project!

I cut the base from white linen cardstock, and the rest of the pieces from black glitter, red, brown, black, yellow and orange cardstock. I assembled the box card and added three Caroler Brads and three Snow Tree Brads. I applied a strip of the Christmas Holly Washi Tape to a scrap piece of white cardstock, punched the 'Merry & Bright' to use as the sentiment, and layered it on a slightly larger circle punched from black cardstock.
