You're the G.O.A.T.

There is no doubt about it - I am incredibly blessed with a set of friends who ARE the G.O.A.T.  They truly are the greatest of all time, so today's card is made with a very grateful heart for the many ways they look out for me.

If you've ever spent any time around goats, you know that there's nothing they won't climb. There's no mountain high enough for them, so I used a snow capped mountain image and put my Eyelet Outlet goat brad on top. I added a few of our pine tree brads on the left side, and in the higher elevation I added a a snowy tree brad. 

 

Nuts About You

There's so many possibilities for darling Valentine's Day cards with Eyelet Outlet products! Today I've paired our little squirrel brad with an acorn and  couple of pine tree brads to let a loved one know that I'm "nuts about them!"

It's a Wrap!

 Christmas gift wrapping 2025 is now complete. I actually love gift wrapping, unlike many of my friends and family. I usually use my Cricut to create unique embellishments for my gifts and I especially love adding Eyelet Outlet products for an extra pop.

I made several of these gift bags this year and decided to add belly bands to the tops to keep them closed, serving a double purpose - to keep prying eyes from peeking inside before Christmas and also to give me another opportunity for embellishments!

I made these particular bags, but store bought gift bags can easily be used for this project. I added a grouping of holiday brads to this belly band. I used one of the gift brads, a pine tree brad and one of our nutcracker brads.

Nutcracker Card

I really like the Eyelet Outlet Nutcracker brads and today I paired one with an Eyelet Outlet gift brad and pine tree brad.

 I used images from Cricut Design Space to create a little border for my card that mimics my brad grouping. I added some gold glitter washi tape on both sides of my border. 

After embossing the blue cardstock with a snowflake embossing folder, I decided to bring the snowflake touch forward with a few snowflake brads.  

Pine & Dandy Holiday

Wish your family and friends a Pine & Dandy holiday with Eyelet Outlet pine themed embellishments!  

Today I'm sharing a couple of projects.  First up a tag featuring our lovely Pine Tree brads.  The patterned paper is a digital paper called Woodland Forest Friends from Creative Bu on Etsy.

Next up, a card featuring one of our popular cardinal brads and a pinecone brad. I have to tell you, I had this card completed and photographed without the cardinal and when I looked at the picture I realized the missed opportunity!  I ended up making a second card, this time with the cardinal!  This digital paper is from the same set.

I've been on the Eyelet Outlet Design Team for quite a few years now and it's a little bit hard to pick my top three holiday projects, but after some deliberation, and without further ado, here they are...

NUMBER THREE

In 2018 I created this card using Cricut brand adhesive foil and bling from Eyelet Outlet, which is the most beautiful bling you will ever find!  I made this card in several different colors that year and the bling possibilities were endless. One trip to our bling section at the Eyelet Outlet store and you will see what I mean. This card was a favorite because even though I made several, they were all uniquely different and they practically made themselves!

The sweet smiling face of my granddaughter when she received this Advent Calendar I made for her last year made Number One an easy pick for me! It's constructed from cardstock and the SVG is from My Scrap Chick.  I embellished the drawers with dozens of Eyelet Outlet products.

Christmas Holly Tags

Hello Eyelet Outlet fans! It's getting closer to Thanksgiving and my mind has completely turned to getting things ready for Christmas. I'm in full swing of making cards and tags. To that end, I made these six tags over the weekend using a variety of EO products.

It all started with a new washi tape I noticed had arrived at the store. It had six different Christmas sentiments and I immediately thought I would make tags with it. And here is the result of that inspiration. This tape is wide as washi tape goes. It's a full 1 6/8" wide which turned out to be perfect for the mini tag templates I used from Kiwi Lane. You could use any tag pattern, dies, cut them with an electronic machine or even make them by hand. The average size of the finished tags are 1 7/8" wide by 3" tall. Perfect to pair with a bow on Christmas packages. 

I often hear people ask what they can do with washi tape. Well, this is a perfect example of an out of the box use that takes advantage of the beautiful prints. To make them, I applied long strips of the washi tape on white cardstock. Then I trimmed the cardstock down the sides and top of the tape. I used my paper trimmer with a deckle blad to cut the bottom. Then I used double-sided adhesive to attach the washi pieces to the tags. After that, I had great fun decorating them with a variety of bling and brads.

Christmas Shaker Card

Temperatures are soaring here in Central Texas, so I'm staying cool in my craft room and thinking Christmas in July!

I'm late to the party on making shaker cards.  This is only my second one and I think I'm hooked!  They really are fun to make and look pretty impressive when they're finished.

I designed my card in Cricut Design Space by cutting the window with the slicing tool.  The snowy scene is from Cricut's "Merry & Bright" image set.  I used print then cut to do the scene.  I added Eyelet Outlet snowflake sequins to the opening and I love how they shake in the window.  I also added an Eyelet Outlet pine tree brad outside the window.  I actually had a hard time deciding which holiday brad to put in that spot, because the snowman, holly, and Santa brads all looked great, too!

I'm Pulling For You

Some days are an uphill battle, so send someone you love some encouragement today with a cute card using Eyelet Outlet tractor brads.

The sentiment for my card comes from the Cricut's "Just Because Cards."  The hay bales that I put on my trailer are from Cricut's "County Fair" image set. 

I love the Eyelet Outlet cow brads.  Today our cow looks like he's definitely pulling for the tractor driver to bring her that hay bale!  😀  I've also used a couple of Eyelet Outlet tree brads on my card - the pine tree brad as well as one of the summer tree brads.  Breaking up the green hillside landscape, I used a wide dotted green washi tape with a skinny washi tape in lighter green dotted pattern on top of it.

Winter Wishes

Thinking back over time, I've experienced many holiday traditions repeated year over year.  At my grandma's house were the hard candies and the nutcrackers while my aunt's house had the most beautiful silver tree with stunning ornaments.   It was the time of year to also see a red pickup truck with a fresh cut tree navigating through the snow.

Today's card entitled 'Winter Wishes' creates reminders of those holiday traditions.

Don't Just Fly. Soar!

Today I have an inspirational card for you featuring the new Eyelet Outlet Eagle brad.  This set includes a flying eagle, like the one I've used today, as well as a sitting eagle. They are really majestic and I'm expecting them to become one of our most popular bird brads.  

Cricut's "Seasonal Printables" image set offers a beautiful mountain backdrop for my soaring eagle and the sentiment I've used is from Cricut's "Girl, You Got This," image set.   I added some Eyelet Let Outlet Pine Tree Brads and a touch a swirl bling to complete my card.

Faith Moves Moutains

Good morning crafters!  This morning I'm sharing an inspirational card with you that I made with mountains from the Cricut image library beautifully accentuated with sun and cloud brads as well as pine tree brads from Eyelet Outlet.  

And, why don't we do a little "Throw Back Thursday" today!  Here's another card I made a few years ago with the same sun brad. It looks so cheery in the window!  The real star of this card, however, is the awesome floral washi tape! Eyelet Outlet has lots and lots of brand new washi tape in the store right now and so many florals like this that make a delightful garden border for your projects!  The pie in this card is from Cricut's image library and I used an Eyelet Outlet pot holder from the Cooking Brads Set as well as some champagne swirl bling to simulate steam coming off of the pie.

Christmas Crafts

Kim from Katydid Cards here.  I've shown you a number of Christmas cards featuring Eyelet Outlet, so I thought I would make a few Christmas crafts as well.

First up is a 3D winter scene gift card bag which has been modified from the original cut file purchased in the Silhouette store.  The changes enabled me to use some of the many brads from Eyelet Outlet.  Here I'm using the Sun & Cloud, Pine Tree, Snowman, and Sled brads.

Here's a closer look.  The "layers" in the bag start with the acetate window then the snowy hills and finally the sky.  Behind the blue panel, there's space for the gift card.

Next, is a cute little holder for hand sanitizer...except, in this case, it's Santa-tizer.  I used the new Santa Brad as well as two Red Round Brads and the new Santa Washi Tape.

And here's the holder, open.  I used a Red Stripe Washi Tape for the inside panels.

The entire Eyelet Outlet design team has outdone themselves with holiday inspiration!  I hope you have enjoyed our projects as much as we enjoyed sharing them with you!

Dashing Through the Snow

Have you ever been dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh?  If so, I, Kim of Katydid Cards, envy you the experience.  This card is about as close as I'll ever get!

The card components were purchased in the Silhouette store and I thought they would make a great backdrop for the brads I used.  The new Sleigh brad is just the right size for the Horse and the Snowman and Pine Trees complete the scene.  The Oval Bling, colored in the center with a Copic marker, sets the greeting off nicely.

Seems I forgot to take a picture of the sentiment inside, but I used another line from the song.  "What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight."

And I have one last Christmas card to share with you.  It's an Eclipse card using the new Santa Washi Tape as well as the new Santa and Sleigh brads and the ever popular Snowflake brad.

As an accent across the bottom, I used Jewel Bling Strip on Skinny Gold Glitter Washi Tape.

One North Pole Lane

Hi folks.  It's Kim from Katydid Cards.

Looks like we caught Santa and Mrs. Claus home at One North Pole Lane.  Despite how busy they are this time of year, they took the time to give us a friendly greeting.

This box card, made using a cut file from the Silhouette store, features the new Santa and Mrs. Claus and Wreath brads as well as some tried and true brads, the Holly, Snowflake and Pine Tree.  In addition, there's some Jewel Bling as well as Holly and Brick Washi Tape.  In short, this house is ALL decked out!

Here's a look at the box card from either side, so you can see where I placed the snowflakes and the tree.

And here's the back of the card with a greeting from Santa and Mrs. Claus, themselves!
