I love the vintage and romantic feel of this card! I started with adding a little distress inks to the background of my cream cardstock. I added the beautiful "time for flowers" washi tape for my border. Next, I stamped my sentiment and added some champagne bling. I created my layered flower by stacking the large paper flower with the small paper flower in white and adding a little distress ink and the gold rimmed copper brad. Lastly, I embellished with Swirl Bling Jewel in Champagne!

Pretty paper... pretty ribbons... pretty Christmas tags!!

 Do you enjoy Christmas gift wrapping, ribbons, tags, and all the pretty things?? I do! 

Wrapping Christmas presents is one of my favorite things to do! So, I am hoping that having a few Christmas tags ready to go will make it even more fun! I enjoyed creating a variety of tags and even created a "bookmark" style one for any book lovers on your gift giving list!

These 2 tags highlight the adorable brads from the new Christmas set called, Santa Deer Brads! I even added a few pearl brown jewels and black glitter washi! So fun!

On these 2 Christmas tags, I focused on the adorable little red truck brads! I added the black glitter washi as my "road" and filled the truck bed with a Christmas tree and presents! I think this little truck is absolutely adorable! 

Lastly, I created a fun gingerbread theme gift tag and a snowflake bookmark that could also be used as a gift tag! I love the versatility of the crafting products by Eyelet Outlet! See my shopping list below! Thanks so much for stopping by!

'Tis the Season

Hello everyone!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards.

'Tis the season for using these great new Pinecone brads.  Here I combined them with Champagne Pearl Bling and Snow and Gold Foil Washi Tape.   These pinecones are so realistic!  I can't wait to use them on other projects. In the meantime, here's what I did on this card.

On four squares of vanilla cardstock, I stamped just the tips of pine boughs in a green to match the washi tape.  I sponged the edges of the squares as well.  Then I placed the pinecones in four directions and attached pearl bling in the corners of each.  I placed them on kraft colored mats and those went on a panel covered with the washi tape, also sponged on the edges.  Another mat of kraft and gold foil washi.

To finish, I stamped the greeting and heat embossed it in gold, layering it on two strips of Gold Foil Washi Tape.

I really love this washi tape, too!  I didn't think to do it, but I'm going to add some more to the inside of the card as well.  Here's another card made better by beautiful washi tape.
