Girls (Tape) Just Wanna Have Fun

In this case an axis of Film Strip Tape (placed vertically) and Music Washi creates a space to place three of the girls around, with Book Brads, Iced Coffee, the smartphone from our Selfie Set, a Feline Brad and Eye Glass Brads placed at the intersection. A few white Star Brads are scattered around and then some tiny silver Star Sequins. A mat of Glitter Black Tape adds an appropriately sparkly finishing touch.

A "Note" of Thanks

I've seen and admired piano cards on Pinterest in the past, but have never tried making one until now.  I recently learned how to make a side edge card in Cricut Design Space and while browsing Eyelet Outlet's Washi Tapes the other day, this idea came to me!

I used the side edge technique to create the top of the grand piano and this great music washi tape for the keyboard.  Of course what music themed card would be complete without some Eyelet Outlet music note brads?  Black and white color palettes always appeal to me, but after seeing Designer Lauren's wonderful posts this past week of Eyelet Outlet Rainbow cards, I decided to add an accent color and pulled purple mini stitched flowers and a purple enamel heart along with a black enamel heart to the sentiment.

The Key to Life

Sometimes it's fun to make a super fast card with a pun. That's the case with me today. And OF COURSE Eyelet Outlet has just the products needed at times like this!

And how fun is this - did you know you can color Washi Tape with Copic Markers? Okay, maybe you did - you probably did - but I had. no. clue. 

WOW! This is a game changer for me!
