This Christmas Card Pops!

Do you give a lot of gift cards over the holidays?  I know I do so I wanted to make a cute Christmas card that is also a gift card holder and after adding some embellishments from Eyelet Outlet, they are just extra special now.

The front of the card is made with quite a few EO embellishments.  The background is Green Glitter Washi Tape with Silver Blocks Glitter Washi Tape layered on top.  That is where I built the Christmas scene.  The felt Rudolph is wearing an adorable Santa Hat Brad and has several Brown Jewels as little spots on his back.  He also has a cute Black Pearl eye and of course, a large Red Cut Jewel Bling for his nose.

The large felt present is surrounded by many little presents to include three Gift Brads right up front.

It wouldn’t be a prefect Christmas scene without some snow, right? I added some 3-D snow on the bottom and some beautiful Snowflake Brads falling from the sky.

Once you open the card, a cute gift bag pops up where you can place a gift card!

On the left side of the card, I embossed a Christmas tree and added two of the large Red Jewel Bling for sparkle.

The right side has the Ho Ho Washi Tape lining the top and bottom along with four of the Holiday Light Brads in each corner. To finish off the inside, I added a simple Merry Christmas sticker sentiment and added several of the Red Jewel Bling as the holly berries.

Thanks to all the easy extras I added to this card, I think anyone would just love to get it…even without a gift card…lol

Cutest Pumpkin Tealight Holder

Halloween 2023 is in the books, and it was a sugary, good time!  Now, it’s time to start planning for Thanksgiving.

If you know me, you know I love to make my own decorations for every holiday and Thanksgiving is one of my favorites to create for. This week’s Eyelet Outlet creation, I started my decorating with this adorable fall colored pumpkin tealight holder.

It stands about 7 inches tall and 6 inches wide.

I made the base using the green Glitter Washi Tape which just happens to match the pumpkin leaves perfectly.

The actual pumpkin is two different fall themed patterned paper in which I embossed the outer layers.  I also added orange Jewel Bling to the outer layer for sparkle.

The leaves are inked with matching shades of green to give depth and several of the cute Pumpkin Brads were added to the top. The LED tealight reflects nicely off them!

To finish it off, I added little spiral vines as if it was just picked off the stalk.
This is a perfect beginning to a super cute Thanksgiving table centerpiece.

More decorations to come next week!!!!

Baseball!

Hello everyone!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards.

It's Spring and that means it's time for Baseball!  Here's a diamond-fold card to help celebrate the season.

The "field" is made from a diamond covered in Green Glitter Washi Tape.  The bases and home plate are plain white cardstock.

The bunny image is attached with an action wobble spring so he moves when he makes this incredible catch of the Baseball Brad. His cap is covered with Blue and Red Skinny Washi Tape.

Here's a picture of the diamond-fold a bit opened.  The side panels are adorned with Fan Hand Brads in two of the five colors.

And here's the back of the card with a sentiment I got at the Silhouette store.

Hanging Out

Hello everyone!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today.

When I saw the cute Hanger Brads, the idea "Hanging Out" came to me immediately.  Now, how to incorporate it into a card...

Before my association with Eyelet Outlet, I rarely used washi tape; so I knew I wanted to use that as well.  Now, I'm having such fun with it I wonder why I rarely used it.  I made my card today using these luscious tapes:

That red and green washi would work great on Christmas cards, tags and projects as well!

I'll show you a picture of my card first and then share a bit about how it came together.

I made a vintage armoire using a cut file I found in the Silhouette Store.  I used Confetti White card stock, embossed it with a Woodgrain embossing folder and sponged all the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  The handles and the center medallion for the finial were made using the Multi-Sized Pearl Bling, colored with a Gold Leaf Pen.

I had such fun filling this armoire.  I found a free clip art dress image and traced it in my Silhouette.  I cut it and it became the base for my washi; which I attached trimmed the edges.  I added pockets of glitter washi and even added a pair of matching shoes for each.  The greeting appears on the inside of the doors.

I added a third hanger because it looked a bit empty in the middle.  Here's a closer look:

And here's the inside of the card...another hanger for good measure!

I hope you like my card and much as I liked sharing it with you.

Before I leave you I want to share some exciting news...Eyelet Outlet is having a sale just in time for Christmas!  That's right, you get 20% off any order over $20.00.  Just use the code hoho20 at check out!  The sale ends December 10th, so don't delay!  And there's free shipping on orders over $75.  Happy shopping!
