Here's a summery card idea that's SHORE to please: Diecut chunky letters from Eyelet Outlet Wide Water Washi adorned with a strip of torn Glitter Gold Tape to serve as sand. Scatter Shell Brads and Sea Shore Brads along the bottom, as if they've been washed up by the tide. Augment with Water Splats and a handsome Flamingo Brad. Place the stamped portion of the sentiment above, and surround it with a flying Seagull plus Sun and Cloud Brads.

This one features Eyelet Outlet Shell Brads, Sea Shore Brads, Sun and Clouds, Sandcastles, Tall Palm Trees, Seagulls and Sunglass Brads. The postage trend is awesome for combining a bunch of related items and Shell Washi Tape makes the perfect backdrop.

Beach, Please!
Life IS better at the beach and summery cards ARE better with Eyelet Outlet Summer Vacation beachy brads! Both of these beachy keen cards feature our Shell Corner Brads and have twine accents strung through a trio of colorful old school 1/8" Round Eyelets; with mats of Shell Washi and extra wide Sky Tape.
The first card also features both shapes from our Seagull Brad Set as well as both Sun and Cloud from that set.

Life is Better at the Beach
Life IS better at the beach, but the next best thing is a beautiful beachy card, bedecked with Eyelet Outlet Brads. Shell Brads, Shell Corners, Sea Shore, flying and standing Seagulls and Tall Palm Brads add coastal flavor to faux polaroids matted with Sparkle Gold Glitter Tape add glamor. A Wide Wood Washi background with a twine border is set off with colorful, old-school 1/8" Round Eyelets and a scattering of Multi-sized Pearls completes the design.

Life Really is Better in Flip Flops
Amongst the new Eyelet Outlet Summer Brad release are Flip Flops, which come with three colors in each pack: brown, black and hot pink. Amazingly enough for me (Lauren) I didn't use the pink ones first??!

Gulls Just Wanna Have Fun
Eyelet Outlet Seagull Brads, that is. And in this case, they're having their fun on two three-inch-square Inkbox Cards I (Lauren) made especially to hold them. I love that the Seagull Brads have two poses, so I decided they should each be the star of one card. And since I was dying to use my new softly metallic Ocean Tape, I'd pair it with Script Washi and some Glitter Skinny Tape to make a foreground for both.
The first card features the distance flying seagull up in the "sky" of the card and down on the washi tape beach I've clustered a Shell Corner Brad, as well as both the starfish and sand dollar from the Sea Shore Brad set.
The standing up seagull is the star of the second card, and he's standing next to a cluster of all three Shell Brads. I felt like it needed one more thing for balance, and you'd be surprised how often our Sun and Cloud Brads fit the bill on that score; which is why they are consistently on my "most used brads" list; along with Hearts and Snowflakes!

Seashore Garden...
...is the name of this beautiful tape from Eyelet Outlet and the only thing I (Lauren) love more than the name is the tape itself!

The Beach is Always a Good Idea!
I painted a beachy little watercolor background using ColorBurst pigment powders. I attached my title (alphabet stickers and trimmed-down Dymo Label Tape) leaving a gap for the border of shells I wanted to use, which included some Shell Corners, Sea Shore Brads, Shell Brads and even a Sandcastle Brad. Here's the most important step in my card-making process, which I've said before but it bears repeating: I dry fit the elements, including the brads-- on which I usually flatten the prongs a bit-- so I can see how everything works together! Then, I snap a pic on my phone, so I will remember what order I had everything in, and which bits were over or under something else. Only then do I start poking holes in my background! ;)
Finally, my favorite thing about sweet little character stamps like these, is that the scale makes them PERFECT to mix in a few more brads! In this case, the cute hula girl had a bloom behind her ear that I covered with a Fresh Flower Brad; and you know that as soon as you construct some bamboo lettering a Seagull Brad will immediately come and perch upon it!!!
I hope you'll be inspired to look at your stamps AND your Eyelet Outlet Brads and find more combinations that will be perfect together! ♥
