You're Hot!

Hello everyone. I'm here today to share a love card. Now, maybe two lizards don't strike you as the objects of love. I beg to differ! I've known several people who adore their pet lizards and other cold blooded creatures. They're not for me but I still like this theme as there is a twist of humor in it.

I used washi tape for the background instead of paper. I don't have a lot of desert themed paper but I had two washi tapes. With a bit of sky washi and some green skinny washi, a perfect background was born! This was a fun one to put it together.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please visit the store for all your brads, washi tape, bling and paper flowers!

Happy Creating Everyone!

Lookin' Sharp!

I've got a fun little card idea for you today, perfect for a birthday. I used a cactus image from Cricut Design Space and embellished it with a pair of Eyelet Outlet Sunglasses and some Mini Stitched Flowers.  I think this cactus is, indeed, looking quite sharp!

For the sentiment, I used a few strips of Eyelet Outlet Skinny Washi Tape. We have hundreds of beautiful tapes, my I honestly think this skinny tape in the assorted colors are the ones I reach for most often.  I also added one of our new cactus brads next to the sentiment.  There's two different styles of cacti in the package and I think these will quickly become a best seller!

Thanks for stopping by. If you're in the DFW area this weekend, come by and take a look at all the awesome Eyelet Outlet products in person at the vendor area of the Scrapbook Expo in Irving, TX.

Susan's Top 3 Favorite Birthday Cards

This week the Eyelet Outlet Design Team is bringing you our top 3 favorites from earlier posts.  I decided to focus on my favorite birthday cards, because every month of the year, I need at least one birthday card for a friend or family member.

For this 'Hippy Birthday" card I used an Eyelet Outlet hanger brad, enamel dots, pearl bling strips, and skinny glitter washi tape.

These birthday candles were so quick and easy with Eyelet Outlet skinny washi tapes!  The hardest part was deciding which of the many beautiful tapes to use.  Each candle is topped with some teardrop bling.

No matter how hard I try, I'm  occasionally "in hot water" and need a belated birthday card. I loved this use of the lobster brads so much I almost wanted to send a birthday card late on purpose!  I also added a little pot holder brad to the lid of the pot.

Thanks for joining us on our trip down memory lane this week as we each bring you our favorite posts from the past.

Hello GOURD-GEOUS!

I seriously don't know how this happened, given how many shaker cards I've made, but somehow I have never filled one of them with Eyelet Outlet pumpkin sequins until now!

Aren't these just the cutest?!

This isn't the first time for using this cute little sentiment and so how about a little "Throw Back Thursday?"  I made this card a year or so ago using the Eyelet Outlet Pumpkin Brads and I added a few strips of our skinny washi in between the gourd paper and the plaid paper.

Be sure and stop by Eyelet Outlet for all your pumpkin needs this fall. Search "Pumpkin" on our home page to find all of our pumpkin themed sequins, brads, and washi tapes.

I'm Susan and I love pumpkins!

Halloween Treat Bags

Decorating these little Halloween treat bags was such fun!  There's so many amazing Halloween themed embellishments available at Eyelet Outlet, as you can see from this project. And there's even more at EyeletOutlet.com

This little witch is from Cricut's Mini Monster's image set, but I substituted Eyelet Outlet Witch Legs brads for the originals.  I also used Eyelet Outlet Eye brads on her face and a round jeweled brad on her dress.  The jeweled brads are on sale now, too!   There's a mini spider brad in that cob web as well as a cute black kitten brad in the corner.

And don't forget about the washi tape!  I used some purple glitter tape on my witch's hat as well as a few strips of black and white and some Happy Halloween tape.

Thanks for being with us today and be sure and check back next week and see our newest brads!

Hello GOURDgeous!

Here's a fun little card that will brighten the day of someone you love and it's perfect for fall.

The patterned paper on this card is digital paper from Clover & Lilly's Etsy shop.  It's a 10 patterned set called, "Autumn Reverie." I separated the two patterns with a few strips of coordinating skinny washi tape and added some of the popular pumpkin brads from Eyelet Outelet.

Hope all of you are having a wonderful day and enjoying some crafty time.
