Under the Sea

Hello Eyelet outlet peeps!  I had this Mermaid image from my favorite digi stamp company EVER "A Day for Daisies" and fell immediately in love with her.  So I created this "Under the Sea" inspired card for a card swap at the "Stamp and Scrapbook Expo" that I attended last weekend.

I found this deliciously fine Filigree Paper from "Chatterbox Inc" at Tuesday morning which I used for the background that gives the illusion of seaweed. Of course I then cut seaweed SVG files I had in my Silhouette Cameo library (hardly a day doesn't go by that I am not playing on my Silhouette).

I colored her with my copic markers and added these charming sea shore brads and shell corner brads from Eyelet Outlet.  Then because Mermaids need pearls I attached these pearl sticky back bling also from Eyelet Outlet in her hair and on the orange paper flowers.

The Expo was a lot of fun but making 16 of these cards to swap with the other talented designers was the highlight of the weekend for me.  Thank you "A Day for Daisies" for creating such wonderful digi stamps and Eyelet Outlet for all of the amazing embellishments that make projects special and thank all of you for coming under the sea with me today.
