Sweater Weather

I love sweater weather and today I'm bringing you a sweater card that you can make, too! I created this card in Cricut Design Space and I'm sharing the file in our "Freebies" section.

I ran the the front of my card as well as the pocket through my Cuttlebug embossing it with my Cricut Argyle embossing folder to give it a real sweater texture.  Then I made a necklace with twine and Eyelet Outlet Holiday Lights Brads.  I scored the placket and bottom band of my sweater every 1/8th inch on my score board to give it the ribbed look you might see on a sweater.  After adding Eyelet Outlet Pearl Bling down the front for buttons, I decided I needed a little something in the pocket, and Eyelet Outlet Candy Cane Brads were just right!

Here's a crew neck version that's perfect for an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" card, but it won't be so ugly when you adorn it with fabulous Eyelet Outlet Bling and Enamel Dots!  I love the new Fancy Long Bling I used to wrap around my tree!  It's clear gems studded with pearls are simply gorgeous!  And while you're shopping our Bling Selection, check out the Flower Bling I used to top my tree!  This bling is so easy to apply to any project.

Here's one more, with a lace collar and embellished with some of Eyelet Outlet's beautiful Paper Flowers and Pearl Brads.  And what girl goes anywhere without her cell phone in her pocket?  Eyelet Outlet's Cell Phone Brad was a perfect fit!

Thanks for stopping in today and be sure to help yourself to the Cricut Cut File for this card in our "Freebies" section. Just click on "Freebies" above and find this and other fun files shared by the Eyelet Outlet Designers.

I've included all three collars in the file (V-Neck, Crew Neck, and Scalloped Neck).  All images used to make this card are available free in Cricut Design Space, with the exception of the scalloped collar.  That image is included in Cricut Access though.  Enjoy!
