Funny Punny Valentines!

Back by popular demand....Funny Punny Kid-Friendly Valentines! Last year I made 4" Valentines for the kids in my life to give at their school Valentine parties and they were such a hit, I decided to bring them back this year but with ALL NEW puns and fun from Eyelet Outlet's wonderful 2018 product releases! So, without further ado.......

Eyelet Outlet released stamp sets for the first time in 2018 that coordinate with the brads. You can see them all here, but today I used the Fan Stamp Set that coordinates with the Fan Brad as well as the Foam Hand Brad.

We also released a number of brand new animal brads last year. The Jungle Mix Set is super cute and today I paired the giraffe from the set with some giraffe digital paper. The Bear Brad set also comes with an adorable little bear cub and the Horse Brad, which I think will be a favorite for years to come, includes a Pony Brad.

This Lawn Mower Valentine is my personal favorite and I think my great nephew will think so too! Isn't this Lawn Mower Brad so realistic?! The Firetruck Brad comes from the First Responder Brad Set which includes an ambulance and police car brad. And don't forget about our Apple Brad Set! So, so cute and comes with whole apples, as well as apple cores!

I really "dig" the Sand Bucket and Shovel Brad Set as well as the Truck Brad Set! Our Garden Trowel Brad would have been great on this one, too!

When I created these in 2017 I actually put "kits" together for the kids to assemble the Valentines themselves and my great niece had the best time with it! She even created a video of herself demonstrating the assembly! It was the cutest thing ever!!

I'm a Fan of Eyelet Outlet

I'm loving the Fan stamp set from Eyelet Outlet!

It can be used for sports themes,

just to chit-chat,

to encourage,

and to send greetings for a fantastic day,

just to mention a few things.

I needed a little extra bling for my card but didn't seem to find anything in the right color scheme, so I decided to try coloring the Eyelet Outlet white Matte Finish Enamel Dots using my Copic Markers.

It worked!

I'm Your Biggest Fan!

Hi guys, it's Lauren here again. Father's Day is this coming Sunday, but there's still time to whip up a quick card or two featuring Eyelet Outlet Fan Stamps!

My favorite thing about this stamp set is that it's double duty and works perfectly with both the #1 Foam Hand Brads and also with the vintage-style fans from the Telephone and Fan Brads set.

I went sporty with my first card, pairing the sentiment "Have a FAN-tastic Day" with a Foam Hand and giant oversized letters I made using the super-fun Sports Tape.

I had already chosen a different paper for my second card when I stumbled upon this Echo Park "Vintage Fans" paper at my favorite papercrafting shop, Paper Anthology. The irony is that I was attracted to the *other* side of the paper which has a cool woodgrain pattern! Having seen the fans, however, needless to say it only took me about 15 seconds to swap out my original choice. This time I've added the Fan Brad right to the label shape which holds the sentiment, "I'm Your Biggest Fan".

Of course, these ideas aren't only for Father's Day, they'd be equally good for most any occasion, like Dad's birthday or any other milestone. For that matter, if you swap out "DAD" for a first name, or swap the letters for stars, hearts or a stamped image, the possibilities are nearly endless! I hope you'll be inspired to improvise... I think the Fan Stamps will blow you away, lol!
