Wildlife Winterscapes

Maybe the most fun you can have with our Eyelet Outlet Wildlife Brads is to build little scenes for them to inhabit. This trio of A1 cards all have stamped trees and sponged skies, with Sun and Cloud Brads to light the way and a flurry of Snowflake Sequins to set the season. Pine Tree Brads and Snowy Pines add to the foliage, then the critters arrive: a Prancing Deer, a handsome Moose, plus mama and baby Bear Brads. Two washi tape mats, of Glitter Blue Tape and Wide Wood Washi frame the designs.

There are Eyelet Outlet Animals for every taste, including Dinosaurs, Farm Animals, Reptiles, Cats and Dogs, Fish and Crustaceans, Jungle Animals, Birds, Bugs and Critters of all kinds!

Happy Father's Day!

Father's Day is around the corner and today I've got a couple of fun cards for you embellished with some great Eyelet Outlet products. The sentiments for both of these cards comes from LoveSVG.com.  I find so many of their files work fabulously with Eyelet Outlet brads!

Eyelet Outlet brown bear brads set includes adult bears along with darling baby cubs and our pine tree brads are a perfect complement to them.  

I can't resist a pun!  This cute sentiment could work with more than one of our brads like one of our eyeglasses, or even our small eyeballs, but today I opted for a couple of saws brads.  The screw brads also complemented this card.

I Love You, Honey!

Last week I showed you our new Polar Bear Brads, and this week I thought I'd show you a card using our Brown Bear Brad.  

When I think of brown bears, my mind turns to Pooh Bear and his love for honey, so I knew I'd need to pair our brown bear with some of our mini bee brads!  The honey hive is an image from the Cricut image library (Makers Gonna Make cartridge).  

I love that the Eyelet Outlet enamel hearts come in such a variety of colors!  Whatever color scheme you choose for your project, we've got hearts to compliment it!  Here I've used the yellow hearts.

It's Lauren here again with more Valentines. Or rather, one official Valentine and one all-occasion card. But really... you could make them both all-occasion or both Valentines. Anyway, here are the cards in question, they both feature our adorable Eyelet Outlet Bear Brads:

"Bear Hugs" was the first idea that came to me when I saw these lovely little guys and I've made it into a Valentine, but really, you could send "Bear Hugs on Your Birthday" or "Thinking of You and Sending Bear Hugs" or even "Get Well Bear Hugs for You"!  Isn't it nice when cards can multi-task? 

When I thought of the "Un-BEAR-able" pun I was stumped for a bit as to how to use it on a card without being rude, lol! But finally it came to me. 

Of course there are plenty of additional ways to go: "Sending BEARY Good News"... "Wishing You a BEARY Happy Birthday" or even, "I'm em-BEAR-assed that I missed your birthday"! It turns out that Bear Brads are pretty handy to have around! ♥

Funny Punny Valentines!

Back by popular demand....Funny Punny Kid-Friendly Valentines!  Last year I made 4" Valentines for the kids in my life to give at their school Valentine parties and they were such a hit, I decided to bring them back this year but with ALL NEW puns and fun from Eyelet Outlet's wonderful 2018 product releases!  So, without further ado.......

Eyelet Outlet released stamp sets for the first time in 2018 that coordinate with the brads.  You can see them all here, but today I used the Fan Stamp Set that coordinates with the Fan Brad as well as the Foam Hand Brad.

We also released a number of brand new animal brads last year.  The Jungle Mix Set is super cute and today I paired the giraffe from the set with some giraffe digital paper.  The Bear Brad set also comes with an adorable little bear cub and the Horse Brad, which I think will be a favorite for years to come, includes a Pony Brad. 

This Lawn Mower Valentine is my personal favorite and I think my great nephew will think so too! Isn't this Lawn Mower Brad so realistic?!  The Firetruck Brad comes from the First Responder Brad Set which includes an ambulance and police car brad.  And don't forget about our Apple Brad Set!  So, so cute and comes with whole apples, as well as apple cores!

I really "dig" the Sand Bucket and Shovel Brad Set as well as the Truck Brad Set!  Our Garden Trowel Brad would have been great on this one, too!

When I created these in 2017 I actually put "kits" together for the kids to assemble the Valentines themselves and my great niece had the best time with it! She even created a video of herself demonstrating the assembly! It was the cutest thing ever!!

It's an Eyelet Outlet Jungle

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team. I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today!

Eyelet Outlet has so many different animal brads - wild animals. It's a JUNGLE of animals, in fact. If you listen very carefully I think you'll be able to hear the elephants' cry, the monkeys, too. And just look at the giraffes and the bears.

Bear Sighting

Some of my favorite memories as a child are traveling with my family - through the Rockies - looking for bears. It's funny but whenever someone saw a bear, they would stop and get out of their cars trying to get close enough to get a "good picture" but not so close as to become a bear's dinner. And of course, other travelers would come along and stop, too. Bear sightings were a big deal!

I tried to capture that memory on today's card.
