The grass is getting greener, the flowers are starting to bloom... it must be Spring! Celebrate with a bright and beautiful card featuring Eyelet Outlet Chick Brads, brand new Tulip Brads, Bright Stitched Flowers, Heart Brads and a big, bold sentiment cut from Pink Dot Washi Tape!
Well, we're in mid-March, the time has changed, March Madness is starting soon, and it's getting a little warmer where I live. A few daffodils are blooming and the trees are starting to form buds. Whew! We're getting close to moving into full blown spring. Thank goodness!
Today I've made a 5 x 7 card to welcome the new season. I have used the new Tulip Brads as part of the banner on the balloon and the new Mini Butterflies trim the top of the balloon. I added the pretty Yellow Roses Brads on the basket. They really dress the balloon up a lot! I added Daisy Brads to adorn the banner. I also used Green Pattern Washi Tape to mat the card in a perfect green scroll design. Finally I added three blue jewels to the bottom of the balloon. I should also mention that this balloon pattern came from an image in Cricut Design Space.

Spring is here where I live and the yellow pollen is already
coating everything. But that hasn't stopped me from decorating the house
for spring or planting pansies outside.
I wanted to express the idea of Spring so I used a new die cut I
got from Stampin Up. I had bought it specifically for this card and
I thought the Eyelet Outlet Egg Quicklets would look cute going up the arches.
I also added the Spring Saying brads from Eyelet Outlet -
they are are so cute.
Of course I am never done with a card unless I find a use for
at least one Eyelet Outlet washi tape and here is a cute
spring one with tulips. I added some small cutout flowers
to the eggs and also a cream colored pearl. Finally, I added
a bit of glitter to some leaves and a bright yellow bow.

Here is a scene featuring a ladybug and also
embellished with super cute ladybug brads from Eyelet Outlet
in red and yellow (the package will have multiple colors).
The black frame and stripes are glitter washi tape from Eyelet Outlet.
Washi tape is always a quick and easy way to frame a scene.
This card was colored with Copic Markers and the flowers
are adorned with clear jewel bling. The final touch
was a handmade bow. The image is from Julie Spiri.

Still trying to sneak in a few spring themes before the summer hits.
I loved this image from Hetty Clair of the jump roping bunnies.
It was colored with Copic Markers and the sky was done
with water color. I changed the daffodils in the image
to daisies with brads from Eyelet Outlet.
I also used some super cute rabbit brads from the store.
I added a small strip of gold glitter washi tape. Then I
punched the bottom of the frame and added some
jewel bling. All of these embellishments are also carried
at Eyelet Outlet.

Since it is spring -- flowers are a must. I used the daisy set of brads from
Eyelet Outlet. This is such a great set and comes in a variety of colors.
Finally, I used the chevron washi tape to add some extra color
to the corners of the card. An example of the washi tape
is shown so you can see all the different colors on this
fabulous tape.

The best part are the dragonflies fluttering around on the card. They
are brads from Eyelet Outlet and there are two sizes in the package.
They are colored to look like real dragonflies.
Next I used my favorite embellishment - the glitter washi tape from
Eyelet Outlet. The sparkle is always great and it never flakes. Finally, I
added a few jewel bling in blue. Don't forget to

I am still having fun making spring cards. I had this cute bunny
die cut from Spellbinders that I used and then designed
the card in a diagonal manner.
The glitter washi tape from Eyelet Outlet is always my favorite
and I used it to help accentuate the diagonal look. And, who
says hearts are just for Valentine cards - I think they look perfect here.
The flower, brad, enamel dots and the bunny's little check are

This is a delightful spring image from Power Poppies.
I colored it with Copic Markers and then die cut the image
and framed it in a scalloped die cut.
The image was then decorated with lots of fun embellishments
from Eyelet Outlet. I included small pink enamel dots and the larger
12 mm clear bling jewels to accentuate the die cuts.
The top and bottom borders of the card also received a bit
of sparkle with my favorite washi tape in Silver Glitter.
I am so looking forward to spring and I love all the eggs, bunnies
and pastel colors so you will be seeing more of spring from
me in the coming weeks.

Finally time to look forward to spring flowers and a more
colorful landscape. This card features an image from Colors of Love
and a die cut from Spellbinders.
Next I watercolored the image and started adding the flower brads
from Eyelet Outlet. I included a small jewel bling or small enamel dot
on each flower's center. Since this is a spring-inspired card I added
the fabulous dragonfly brads fluttering around.
To finish off the card I added the blue washi tape (glitter) and
a few more of the pink jewel bling.
The white flowers and the round purple brads are
also from Eyelet Outlet and are listed even though they
are not part of the actual card.

This card features a cute little spring bunny image. What makes this card special are the fun brads and washi tapes from the store. It's so easy and fast to create a scene using washi tapes. The egg and polka dot stripes are washi tapes. The grass the bunny is tucked into is also washi. I've used a Chick brad, Butterfly Brads-Bright and the Sun and Cloud brad set in the scene. Finally I added a Pink Enamel Dot and two pink Heart Shaped Enamel Hearts to finish this scene.

I had a lot of fun using many brad sets that illustrate the poem. I also embellished with a strip of pink bling and a few stickers. This was super quick and fun to put together. In fact, the poem is absolutely ancient. It was a piece I've had in my stash for at least 10 years! The stickers are also old ones from Creative Memories. It's so fun when your old stuff can be made new with brads and bling from Eyelet Outlet!
