Spring is here where I live and the yellow pollen is already coating everything. But that hasn't stopped me from decorating the house for spring or planting pansies outside.
I wanted to express the idea of Spring so I used a new die cut I got from Stampin Up. I had bought it specifically for this card and I thought the Eyelet Outlet Egg Quicklets would look cute going up the arches. I also added the Spring Saying brads from Eyelet Outlet - they are are so cute.
Of course I am never done with a card unless I find a use for at least one Eyelet Outlet washi tape and here is a cute spring one with tulips. I added some small cutout flowers to the eggs and also a cream colored pearl. Finally, I added a bit of glitter to some leaves and a bright yellow bow.
Hey everyone! It's almost spring and this little cutie wants to remind you that it's right around the corner. I don't know about you, but I certainly am dreaming of warm spring days, flowers and yes - butterflies and ladybugs!

Hi guys, it's Lauren again. When I was growing up, the big treat in the summer was to go "down the shore"... which is New Jersey speak for a trip to the beach, no matter what geographical direction you headed to get there. I still love the sand, the surf, the sunshine, and heck, even the seagulls! Luckily, Eyelet Outlet has brads that satisfy all of my summery needs.
Nowadays I spend more of my summer in the garden than at the beach, but that is equally fun!
I don't grow roses, but I definitely would if they were as lovely as this vintage applique, and attracted wildlife as beautiful as these Butterfly Brads. One of my favorite things about these guys is that they come twelve to a packet, in six colors; half of which face left and half of which face right! I've also added a few strips of Glitter Washi Tape in Copper to add some glamour to my tag.

Helloladies! It's Marina here with you and I want to share a mini album with photos from our scrap-meeting. I want to make fast project, without many layers, but still intresting for looking and the little details are help to do it.
So let's have a look?
I used here lots of enamel dots, pearls, blings and washi tape. All these materials give an some texture and you don't need to use tons of layers and embellishments! This tip work great with mini-format )))
Of course you should use several layers, but here I used the base papers and added some fussy cutting details from the other sheet - and that's all! Add some washi and dots - and your work is ready! Fast and easy ))))
Two of my favorite things to do are
crafting and cooking, so why not combine the two together?!? I made
some yummy chicken stock in my crockpot, then used the Eyelet Outlet
Washi tape as labels. I then used the same washi tape for the cute
little card when I give some of the chicken stock away to friends and
family.

Both
of these items, the container of homemade chicken broth and the card,
could be given as a gift to someone for when they are sick, need a pick
me up, or just to let them know you are thinking about them. So if you
are giving a gift you have to have a card to go with it!!
Spring Bubble Brads, Confetti Washi, Bunny Washi, Geometric Washi
Without further ado here is my chicken stock recipe:
Crockpot Chicken Stock
Makes about 16 cups (6 quart crockpot)
Step 1 - Cook your chicken
Ingredients
1 whole chicken
1 onion rough chopped or a handfull of green onions (I used green onions from my garden) 1 whole head of garlic smashed
2- 3 Fresh Rosemary stems
2-3 Fresh Thyme Stems
1 lime - cut in half (or lemon)
Salt and pepper chicken
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in the slow cooker: Place
onion, garlic, and lime in the bottom of the pot. Add chicken breast
up. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add fresh herbs on top.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Enjoy your yummy chicken for dinner!!!
Step 2 - Make the Stock
Ingredients
Bones from the chicken you just cooked
Veggies, Herbs, and lime from above
Carrots
Celery
Peppers
Eggplant
Squash
Greens
Other herbs (sage, parsley, etc)
Any other veggie you have
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in the slow cooker: Place
all the bones, skin, small bits of chicken, tendons, neck, etc all in
the pot. Roughly chop the vegetables and herbs and scatter them around
the chicken.
Cover with water: Add enough water to cover the chicken bones.
Cook for at least 8 hours: Set the slow cooker to "low"
and cook for at least 8 hours or just overnight. When you wake in the
morning just turn it off to cool.
Strain the stock: Set a strainer over a large bow l and pour entire stock through the strainer into the bowl.
Store the stock: Divide the stock between several containers and label with washi tape. Cool completely, then cover and refrigerate
for up to a week, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Well, Idon´tmessmemore andshow you myfirst card!!
I made background of my card with funny "Circle washi tape Orange / Blue" and these are the colors chosen to keep working on my card.
I´ve used "White Paper Flowers" dyed in different colors with my Dylusions spray inks and with them I made a frame in which to place my little Superhero.
In center of each one of the flowers I placed Glitter Enamels (blue and green) and hidden among them, these little funny monsters. Finally a brad in greeting and advice given by our Hero. Supply list:
