For the Record...

We want to wish you a Happy Birthday!!

When I saw the adorable vinyl record brads, I knew I want to do a fun, girly, vintage inspired birthday tag! I loved playing on the pinks and golds with adding the sparkly light brown glitter washi tape and pearl bling jewel stickers. I added an array of ribbon and think this would be a fun tag to add to a birthday present for a sweet girlfriend!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to shop at Eyelet Outlet for your crafting needs!

Last Day of School Means No More Books

Happy Friday Everyone!
This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and today is my day to post. I am super excited since I am going to the Scrapbook Expo in Orlando and actually get to meet up with some DT members. I am thrilled to visit the booth and see lots of the products. Looking forward to stocking up and sharing even more!

Here is my Design Team project...
There are only three weeks of school left, so I thought I better start planning some end of the year projects. Not sure what I am going to give to the students, but I like this tag design.

I used a newly released Book Brad and blue enamel dots.

Summer Love

Hi guys, it's Lauren again. When I was growing up, the big treat in the summer was to go "down the shore"... which is New Jersey speak for a trip to the beach, no matter what geographical direction you headed to get there. I still love the sand, the surf, the sunshine, and heck, even the seagulls! Luckily, Eyelet Outlet has brads that satisfy all of my summery needs.

I've used Tall Palm Tree BradsEye Glass Brads (backed with a scrap of charcoal paper to make them sunglasses)Spring Bubble BradsSeagull BradsSun and Cloud Brads, and a single Heart Brad to capture everything I loved --and still love-- about those days!

Nowadays I spend more of my summer in the garden than at the beach, but that is equally fun!

I don't grow roses, but I definitely would if they were as lovely as this vintage applique, and attracted wildlife as beautiful as these Butterfly Brads. One of my favorite things about these guys is that they come twelve to a packet, in six colors; half of which face left and half of which face right! I've also added a few strips of Glitter Washi Tape in Copper to add some glamour to my tag.

What is your favorite thing about summer and how could you use it as inspiration for your next card or project? Be sure to check out this blog every day for a different designer's perspective, not to mention LOTS of amazing inspiration! ♥

An EGG-cellent Adventure!

Hello, it's Lauren, hoping you had a lovely holiday yesterday, if you were clebrating, or just an especially nice Sunday! I'm pretty sure that there will be lots of blogs today with tips and tricks for using up leftover Easter eggs; but as far as I know, nobody is answering the equally important question of what to do with leftover Colored Egg Brads... so luckily, I'm here for you! :) I'm definitely ready for Spring this year, so my first thought was: FLOWERS!

I had fun doodling these particular blooms with my watercolors, then adding a bit of marker and pen on top; but you could stamp or stencil your flowers, or even start with a flowery patterned paper. Either way, your Eyelet Outlet Colored Egg Brads and Multi-sized Enamel Dots make awesome centers. One of my favorite things here, though, was the last minute funky photo corners I made using strips of Stitched Washi Tape... *HOW* had I never thought of that before??

Another great shortcut to instant funky flowers is to use diecuts or punches; because we all have plenty of those, am I right? I stacked up blossoms from several different dies, added Colored Egg Brads and Enamel Dots and finished off with some Flowers with Cute Bug Washi Tape plus a few Pearl Bling Strips. I can't wait till my garden has as much color as this!

But for right now I'll settle for wishing you a very happy day and a very happy Springtime! ♥
