Floral Reverse Double Z Card

Welcome to a card that can't help you feel like a warm summer afternoon. This is a reverse double-z card. The card style features a horizontal strip of cardstock that spans across the card when it's open. The strip was a perfect place to add a strip of pink Fancy Long Bling from the store. I layered three paper flowers in white red and yellow and used a clear Bumpy Bling as the center.

I placed a centered strip of Fancy Strip Bling across the entire strip. I used the flower as the focal point by gluing it to the middle of the strip on top of the bling. Then I added a Bee Brad on the strip and also on the right side of the card. I used Pearl Strip Bling to create bee trails. Finally I added three Mini Butterfly Brads on the left side of the card.

I loved how this card turned out. EO products made it easy to make this card special. The products I used are below.

Barbie's Hat & Shoe Boutiques

This Christmas gift for my granddaughter has been one of my favorite projects in recent months! I hope she has as much fun playing with it as I've had making it for her.

I created several felt hats for her Barbie dolls. I was inspired by a similar project I found on YouTube and created the pattern in Cricut Design Space. I cut the felt with my Cricut Maker and rotary blade. The fun really started once the hat was assembled because there is literally no end to the possibilities of embellishing these little cuties!

Here are a few of them that I embellished with Eyelet Outlet products.

For this one I used a little green organza ribbon and an Eyelet Outlet Stitched Flower.brad.

This red hat became quite fancy when I added Eyelet Outlet Fancy Long Bling in Clear and Pearl.

The black Pearl Bling Strips were a wonderful complement to the little tulle and pearl embellishment that I had in my stash.

This small blue and silver pearl brad was the perfect center for my felt flower.

I used my Cricut to create a gift box for the hats that also serves as a play prop.

And since I was also gifting a package of Barbie shoes, why not make a box for them as well!

The Eyelet Outlet Shoe & Purse brads were perfect in the window of my Boutique Box!

If you are a Cricut crafter and are interested in creating this project for a little one in your life, stop by my profile in Cricut Design Space for the full file for hat and boxes as well as complete instructions.

NOTE:  Eyelet Outlet brads are not recommended for children younger than 8 years old.

Floral Gift Bag

I've been enjoying making a new style of gift bag on my Cricut this week.  The talented designer that inspired this pleated bag actually intended the flaps to fold inward on this bag with ribbon handles, but I've been playing around adding different decorative edges to the flaps and folding them toward the outside of the completed bag.

The fun really gets going when I create the belly band that slips over the top to hold the bag closed.  I had so many options among my Eyelet Outlet products for decorating this belly band that it was honestly difficult to decide! In the end I opted for a strip of our Fancy Long Bling with gems and pearls and some of our lovely paper flowers.  I used an Eyelet Outlet pearl brad for the center of the flower.

You Make Me Happy

Happy Saturday Everyone!! I was feeling quite adventurous this week, so I decided to try a new card making technique for this week’s project.  This 6x6” front folding card was made by strategically cutting strips of cardstock and layering them to make a beautiful background.  And, the best part, I love how it turned out!  Not only do the 3-D pieces add dimension, but the serene color palate calms me and the inspirational sayings on each of the four tags make me smile…because YOU MAKE ME HAPPY.

The gorgeous rhinestone and pearl bling on the top and bottom of the card is called Fancy Long Bling – Pearls and Jewels from Eyelet Outlet, of course! My go-to for all things embellishment!! These add just the perfect amount of sparkle and sophistication the card needed.

Each one of the four inspirational tags have a different colored eyelet from the Brown Eyelet Mix punched into it to hold a ribbon along with Matte Pink Enamel Dots and White Pearl Bling in multiple sizes.

To finish the card off and keep with the serene theme, I decided to use a one-word embellishment which I cut into a flag end.

This is definitely one of my favorites so far! What do you think???

 Hope you enjoy!!

Michelle's Top 3 Favorites!

Today I am sharing my top 3 favorite cards!

I chose this Nautical themed "SEAS"son's Greeting Christmas card for a couple of reasons! First, it is in honor of the many, many Christmases I celebrated in South Florida! I was born and raised in Florida and only within the last 15 years have celebrated this holiday with an actual "winter" season! And secondly, I love this card because I think I used the most adorable Eyelet Outlet products! I used 9 accessories on this card! You can see all the details of this card on blogpost November 8, 2022.

My second favorite card is the "back to school fuel" card from blog post August 30,2022. Anyone who knows me, knows I love coffee! So I really enjoyed creating this coffee themed card! Cutting out the Coffee washi tape to create the word "teachers" was fun too!

Last, but not least. For my 3rd favorite card, I selected "Joy to the World" from blog post October 11, 2022. I chose this card for not only the lovely products I used, but for the message it represents! Because of Jesus's birth we can celebrate Christmas! I hope this Christmas season you have as the song says, "prepared Him room in your heart and home" and you "rejoice at the wonders of His Love".

Thank you for stopping by this Christmas season! I have created a shopping list below for Eyelet Outlet!

"Sea"son's Greetings!

Do you have friends or family who live in a tropical climate? They might enjoy this "SEAside SEAson's Greeting" card for the Holidays!

I started with creating my tropical Christmas tree using the long blue jewel strip for lights and adding tropical brads! For my Christmas tree topper I used a turquoise jewel bling.  I also added a tree stand using black glitter washi and a few presents! And who wouldn't want to slip away on a Santa Sailboat? I thought that would be a fun addition!

Lastly, I created a sentiment banner across the top and added more colorful, jewel bling to embellish my "Season's Greetings"! I love the versatility of the crafting products by Eyelet Outlet!

So, pop on some Tropical Christmas music and start some "SEAsonal Crafting"! See my shopping list below! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Unicorn Sparkles!

Unicorns, sparkle and glitter! What's not to love?

Unicorns are so delightful and fun! I created this card using a digital image that I colored in with markers and fussy cut out! I then created a background using the Unicorn washi tape, purple glitter washi tape, and long pearl bling in purple. I then added a piece of the fancy long zig zag bling to create a crown for our cute unicorn! So fun, this would make an adorable birthday card for a sweet, little, unicorn-loving gal!

This was a super fun card to create! Here are a few items you will need!

I Want Candy

It is getting close to holidays like Halloween. Unfortunately I no longer
get trick or treaters. No even one. Previously our Bichon was excited about
Halloween and always ran to the door to greet the kids.

At least I can get into the spirit by making a card. I started by stamping
first on plain white paper and then on patterned paper. I fussy
cut the outfit and hat and then glued them on the image.

Copics were used to fill in the hair and face.
I also used clear jewels from the Eyelet Outlet to sparkle up the
bottom of her dress and hat. I framed the image and added
orange paper and patterned paper. I  attached a sign that said "I Want Candy"
and added green square jewels. Finally I added a decorated jewel
and pearl strip to the top and bottom of the card.

Winter Beauty

Hello EO fans! So how's the weather been treating you? A lot of the country has had some rough weather lately and here in Charlotte we actually had snow! Woohoo! We don't get snow too often and we got some last Sunday and again yesterday morning. It doesn't last long here which is just how I like it. It's pretty when it comes and just as nice when it goes.

All the cold temps and the snow inspired my card today. The background of the forest is made with Glitter Winter Washi Tape. I love the subtle pattern of trees in the tape. I used two rows of Sparkle White Glitter Tape to represent the snow. Two strips of Fancy Long Bling-Pearls & Jewels in clear adds a bit more sparkle. I used a pair of Moose Brads in the scene. The Cardinal Brad is the perfect pop of color in this neutral scene.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I inspired you to do a little winter cardmaking. Have a great week!

Happy Creating Everyone!

Brewing Up a Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone and happy Sunday! Today I have a card that's toad-ally fun! Lots of people tell me they don't like scary Halloween. This one is nothing but cute and cuddly - or as much as a toad can be in his cauldron bath tub!

I started this project by stamping and coloring the frog and the cauldron and then I fussy cut it out. I cut the orange and purple ovals using dies and arranged the pieces on them. Then I added the faucet, frog and soap brads to further set the scene. I used Swirl Bling and Fancy Long Pearl & Jewel Bling to add smoke and bubbles. Once the rest of the mats were in place, I added a web sticker and a Mini Spider Brad dangling off the corner web.
