This Christmas gift for my granddaughter has been one of my favorite projects in recent months! I hope she has as much fun playing with it as I've had making it for her.
I created several felt hats for her Barbie dolls. I was inspired by a similar project I found on YouTube and created the pattern in Cricut Design Space. I cut the felt with my Cricut Maker and rotary blade. The fun really started once the hat was assembled because there is literally no end to the possibilities of embellishing these little cuties!
Here are a few of them that I embellished with Eyelet Outlet products.
I've been enjoying making a new style of gift bag on my Cricut this week. The talented designer that inspired this pleated bag actually intended the flaps to fold inward on this bag with ribbon handles, but I've been playing around adding different decorative edges to the flaps and folding them toward the outside of the completed bag.
Happy Saturday Everyone!!
I was feeling quite adventurous this week, so I decided to try a new card
making technique for this week’s project.
This 6x6” front folding card was made by strategically cutting strips of
cardstock and layering them to make a beautiful background. And, the best part, I love how it turned out! Not only do the 3-D pieces add dimension, but
the serene color palate calms me and the inspirational sayings on each of the
four tags make me smile…because YOU MAKE ME HAPPY.
The gorgeous rhinestone and pearl bling on the top and bottom of the card is called Fancy Long Bling – Pearls and Jewels from Eyelet Outlet, of course! My go-to for all things embellishment!! These add just the perfect amount of sparkle and sophistication the card needed.
Each one of the four inspirational tags have a different colored eyelet from the Brown Eyelet Mix punched into it to hold a ribbon along with Matte Pink Enamel Dots and White Pearl Bling in multiple sizes. To finish the card off and keep with the serene theme, I decided to use a one-word embellishment which I cut into a flag end.
This is definitely one of my favorites so far! What do you think???
Hope you enjoy!!

Today I am sharing my top 3 favorite cards!
I chose this Nautical themed "SEAS"son's Greeting Christmas card for a couple of reasons! First, it is in honor of the many, many Christmases I celebrated in South Florida! I was born and raised in Florida and only within the last 15 years have celebrated this holiday with an actual "winter" season! And secondly, I love this card because I think I used the most adorable Eyelet Outlet products! I used 9 accessories on this card! You can see all the details of this card on blogpost November 8, 2022.My second favorite card is the "back to school fuel" card from blog post August 30,2022. Anyone who knows me, knows I love coffee! So I really enjoyed creating this coffee themed card! Cutting out the Coffee washi tape to create the word "teachers" was fun too!
Last, but not least. For my 3rd favorite card, I selected "Joy to the World" from blog post October 11, 2022. I chose this card for not only the lovely products I used, but for the message it represents! Because of Jesus's birth we can celebrate Christmas! I hope this Christmas season you have as the song says, "prepared Him room in your heart and home" and you "rejoice at the wonders of His Love".

It is getting close to holidays like Halloween. Unfortunately I no longer
get trick or treaters. No even one. Previously our Bichon was excited about
Halloween and always ran to the door to greet the kids.
At least I can get into the spirit by making a card. I started by stamping
first on plain white paper and then on patterned paper. I fussy
cut the outfit and hat and then glued them on the image.
Copics were used to fill in the hair and face.
I also used clear jewels from the Eyelet Outlet to sparkle up the
bottom of her dress and hat. I framed the image and added
orange paper and patterned paper. I attached a sign that said "I Want Candy"
and added green square jewels. Finally I added a decorated jewel
and pearl strip to the top and bottom of the card.

All the cold temps and the snow inspired my card today. The background of the forest is made with Glitter Winter Washi Tape. I love the subtle pattern of trees in the tape. I used two rows of Sparkle White Glitter Tape to represent the snow. Two strips of Fancy Long Bling-Pearls & Jewels in clear adds a bit more sparkle. I used a pair of Moose Brads in the scene. The Cardinal Brad is the perfect pop of color in this neutral scene.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I inspired you to do a little winter cardmaking. Have a great week!
Hi everyone and happy Sunday! Today I have a card that's toad-ally fun! Lots of people tell me they don't like scary Halloween. This one is nothing but cute and cuddly - or as much as a toad can be in his cauldron bath tub!
I started this project by stamping and coloring the frog and the cauldron and then I fussy cut it out. I cut the orange and purple ovals using dies and arranged the pieces on them. Then I added the faucet, frog and soap brads to further set the scene. I used Swirl Bling and Fancy Long Pearl & Jewel Bling to add smoke and bubbles. Once the rest of the mats were in place, I added a web sticker and a Mini Spider Brad dangling off the corner web.
