Happy Father's Day

It's soon Father's Day so I decided to get a few weeks ahead and get a card done for my husband. Masculine cards can be a little challenging but with EO products, it's easy breezy!

This card features Mustache, Eyeglass, and Star Brads. Black Glitter Enamel Dots help to balance the other elements. I placed them on the card but also on the vellum sentiment. The layered look is a nice effect.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please make a visit to the Eyelet Outlet store to stock up on your brads, bling, washi tape, and paper flowers. Check out the clearance brads while you're there. You'll find some great deals on a HUGE variety of EO favorites

Happy Creating!

Santa Claus is comin' to town!

Happy FriYAY, friends!  I can't believe how quickly the time is flying!  I am so not ready for the holidays.

Today, I am sharing another fun simple holiday card that I created using several of the amazing products available in the shop.  I started with a black card base and a fun piece of patterned paper, followed with green cardstock accents.  I die-cut a cardstock circle and carefully layered Brick Washi Tape over it to create a chimney.

Even though I had taped my die down to the green cardstock, it moved and cut part of the circle edge off, so I trimmed it into a straight line and trimmed the washi circle down to match.  I added Santa (brad) to the "chimney" and popped that circle up on foam dots.  To complete my card, I added Black and Red Glitter Enamel Dots.  I didn't add a sentiment, as I felt the patterned paper did enough.

I am so happy to have knocked another Christmas card out!  I am so thankful for the Eyelet Outlet products that make it so easy to create fun and festive cards without too much fuss!

Pastelloween Bottle Cap Bag Toppers

Hello Eyelet Outlet Fans!  Coming in with a new twist on Halloween embellishments.  This summer we've had a few new families move into my neighborhood.  I thought it would be fun to bring them into some of our neighborhood Hocus Pocus and give them some fun and kooky "You've Been Boo'd"  monster-themed cookies and I thought it would be fun to decorate the bags with these wicked Beach themed Pastelloween bag toppers.

To create my Bottle cap embellishments I used 2 Bottle cap dies and  a spiderweb die to add on some additional layers but also to add a little extra Halloween look. In between each layer, I added foam tape to give it depth and height. For the top layer of my bottle cap, I used La La Land Crafts Flower die, eek word die from my stash and I used my new digital paper collection Wicked Waves by Salty Beach Scrapper, as well as the ephemera pieces from the collection. To top it off I added the Matte finish Enamel Dots- White inside the eyes and around the edges of the bottle cap I added Jewel Bling -100 count blue , for my wicked beach house I added the Glitter Enamel dots- black to give it more depth and don't you think it gave my embellishment that extra wow factor?

For my last bottle cap bag topper I used the rolled flowers in peach, mint and black solid color card stock and added a cute spf 1000 skully ephemera piece backed up with foam tape and I added the Jewel Bling Multi-size 100 count- Pink . I hope you love my Bottle Cap Bag toppers and if you would like to check out my walk-thru YouTube video the link is here:

Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree

I love Christmas - all things Christmas. I especially love Christmas trees, though. Even Charlie Brown ones.

Of course it looks fabulous - after all, it has an Eyelet Outlet Red Ornament Brad on it.

Did you notice the Glitter Enamel Dots?

And here's a trick for you. I used it on the inside of the card, but you can also use it on a card front... Merry Christmas Washi Tape makes the perfect (and SUPER EASY) sentiment.

Yep, I love Christmas!

Ghosts!!

Hi!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards with a newly released Eyelet Outlet brad, the Ghost!  I had so much fun creating cards with these ghosts it was downright scary!  I'm excited to show you what I made.

First up, I made a Twist and Pop card so inside is where most of the action is.  I didn't want to neglect the front of the card, though, so I decided to combine the Halloween Dot, Halloween, and Chalk Board washi tapes to create a herringbone pattern.  It was a time-consuming project, but very relaxing, too, and I think it provides a perfect backdrop for my ghost and greeting.

The ghost, as well as the card base itself, are cut files available in the Silhouette store.  I created the greeting, layering the letters on the word, "boos".  There was just enough space for some Black Glitter Enamel Dots with two more for the ghost's eyes.

When you open it:

Since the brads made me think of ghost costumes made with sheets, this sentiment immediately came to mind.  Fortunately, Eyelet Outlet has both the Cocktail and Beer brads which paired up perfectly with the ghosts.

Next up, we have a shadow box card using the ghosts with the Bats, Owl, and Pumpkin brads.  The card base, as well as the greeting, are available from the Silhouette store.

Inside, I used a poem I found online.  I should have added another brad as an accent...a pumpkin would have provided a great splash of color.

I look forward to bringing you more holiday cards in the weeks that follow.  Stay tuned!

A Fall Photo Shoot

Hello, Jeanette here from the design team. For today's card I used a variety of Eyelet Outlet brads to create scenes in three polaroid-style photos: one of raked leaves (on the left), one with a bicycle (in the center), and one with a horse beside a pine tree (on the right).

I thought it made for a great photo opp type of card, so I also used a camera brad and some camera Washi Tape, as well as a few other products from Eyelet Outlet.
