Going Green!

It's the day before Saint Patrick's Day, so this seems like a good time to "Go Green" with two styles of Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape (Green Pattern Tape and Green Dot Washi) and a scattering of Round Sequins; not to mention a green Paper Flower that's been cut apart into two-petal sections and pieced back together into the shape of a four leaf clover!

Wishing you a very Happy Saint Patrick's Day, and good luck all year long!

Felt Easter Banner

Lately I've been doing a lot of felt crafting with my Cricut Maker and I've found that Eyelet Outlet products pair so beautifully with felt my projects.  The texture of the felt as well as the fantastic dimension that the brads and bling bring to the project really is amazing.

Today I have a felt Easter banner for you.

This project was made entirely of felt and images in Cricut Design Space and embellished with the following Eyelet Outlet products:

Miss You Box Card

Today's card entitled "Miss You" is a box card.  It's delicate, sweet, and a card that can remain open and be enjoyed for weeks and months to come! The box card is a great card for shut-ins, hospitals, and nursing homes.

Eyelet Outlet's Brads, Bling, and Washi Tape are perfect for constructing box cards.  The Large Flower on the back is easy to attach and the Flower Bling is attached to a piece of clear acetate then attached to the box insert. The remaining four flowers are Glitter Rose Washi Tape and Hearts Washi Tape adhered to white paper then die cut.   Eyelet Outlet Sequins are used inside the flower shaker.  Large Heart Bling adorns the side flaps.

Although the box card looks full of flowers and things, the side view shows that it is the multiple layers creating that effect (there's only six flowers).    There's a white strip on the back to write a sentiment and sign the card.   Once you have completed a box card, you'll find it to be addicting!

The Eyelet Outlet supplies used:

White Flowers
Large Heart Bling
Flower Bling
Pearl Strips
Sequins
Glitter Rose Washi Tape

Birthday Bling!

Good morning crafty friends!  Eyelet Outlet has the most luscious bling you've ever seen!  It was exactly the thing to take this birthday card from pretty to pretty amazing!  The Fancy Long Bling Strip I used in between the stripe and floral layers of my card are available in 5 beautiful colors, too!

There are so many options in the Eyelet Outlet store for the center of our paper flowers and this is one I'd hadn't tried before that turned out stunning!

This pretty pearl and jewel Flower Bling fits perfectly in the center of my small white paper flower. Each package of Eyelet Outlet Paper Flowers includes 3 sizes of flowers and there are many colors and patterns to choose from, too!

Supplies used in this project include:
Digital Paper from Huckleberry Hearts Etsy Store Red & Blue Floral Collection
Cricut Cartridges:  Creative Cards (Doily); Create A Critter (Leaves); Cake Basics (Happy Birthday)

Quick Christmas Cards

All you need are a few stickers, washi tape, brads and designer papers to pull together a set of quick Christmas cards.

The first one uses Merry Christmas Washi Tape for the border, a poinsettia brad embellished sticker and lots of new flower bling for snowflakes.

The next sticker was embellished with a Pine Tree Brad and fun winter Sled ... paired with Christmas tree paper & a sticker sentiment, it all comes together.

Holly Leaves and Berries embellish this Merry Christmas Sticker with lots more holly leaves in the papers.

And finally more Flower Bling *snowflakes* on the Silver Star Washi Tape with another cute winter sled.

When brads coordinate with your stickers and papers, the paper crafting is easy.  Can't wait to see what you create with Eyelet Outlet products for the holidays.

Eyelet Outlet Christmas Cards

I've been having fun making holiday ornaments with Alcohol Inks and Yupo Paper ... and Eyelet Outlet Gems are the perfect embellishments.

The Clear Square Jewel was perfect for the larger ornament ... and I trimmed the tiny flower gem from the new Fancy Long Bling.

I used the Clear Square Jewels on both ornaments for this card.

This card featured the new Flower Bling (which reminded me of the embossed snowflakes on the background of my card)

Make sure you stock-up on lots of Eyelet Outlet products to make your holiday cards.

Flower Bling

Eyelet Outlet has several new styles of fancy bling in the store this week.
This Flower Bling can easily double as snowflake bling, given the right backdrop.

These wintery Cardinal Brads give this winter card a splash of warmth
and a smile!  Other supplies used: Holly brad, glitter washi tape.

I hope your day is sunny...
we can all wait for the snow flakes!

Thanks for peeking in on Eyelet Outlet today!

Do You Know How Many Types of Bling Eyelet Outlet Sells?

Ok, that's a bit of a trick question, because I (Lauren) actually don't know the answer. But it's *A LOT* lol! We have Individual JewelsSwirlsStripsShapesBumpy Bling, even Bling surrounded by More Bling... all of which come in at least six colors; and then nearly every variety is also available in Pearls. Like I said, it's a lot of bling, so if you cannot find a style you love in the Eyelet Outlet store, it may not actually exist on this planet. All of which may have tipped you off to the fact that my project this week is bling-related, lol!

One of the first things I thought of when I saw the new Fancy Bling Borders-- which are part of the amazing Fall Release, and will be in the shop verrrrrry soon-- was that their size and shape made them a substitute for places where I'd ordinarily use ribbon. And since they're very sticky, and quite bendy, I wondered if i could even use them in a 3D application, like say, on a gift package. Obviously, it'd have to be a special package, and reusable, so I separately covered the lid and the bottom of a small box with some glossy pink giftwrap. Then I trimmed a section of the border big enough to drape across one corner of my package, and wrap down onto the vertical surface of the box top. I un-peeled and stuck the center (horizontal) bit on first, then carefully pressed down first one side and then the other. When the entire segment was adhered, I trimmed the excess at the lower edge away with scissors.

The only thing you cannot do with the Fancy Bling Borders is tie them in a bow. But luckily Paper Flowers make an equally nice embellishment. Especially if you adorn them with even more bling, lol! On the smallest flower I used a Pink Flower Jewel. On the largest, I used another, but then surrounded it with Clear Oval Jewels and small Pink Gems. For the middle flower, I used a 12mm Round Pink Jewel with the Clear Edge, and surrounded it with Tear Drop Jewels, which are technically not quiiiiiiiite in the shop just yet, they're part of a huge update of new styles that will be coming ANY MINUTE! (& totally worth waiting for!)

Of course you cannot give anyone a package as fancy as this without a card. Which is also going to have to be pretty blingy, just to hold its head up, right? Still playing with the "embellished flower" ideas that I used on the package, I made blossoms with 12mm Pink Jewel Centers surrounded by Clear Oval "petals". For stems, I carefully positioned some Champagne Bling Strips so they looked like they were bending in the wind, and added leaves made by cutting apart some of the brand-new, coming-soon Heart Jewel icons. This may be the heaviest A2 card of all time, lol, but I love how it came out!

I hope you'll be inspired to check out the many beautiful varieties of Eyelet Outlet Sticky-Back Bling and create your own stunning combinations! ♥
