Today Anna is sharing some fabulous tags she created using some of our newest Eyelet Outlet products. Anna was excited to take on this month's assignment so she could show you how fun tags can be to create. Let's have a look at what she created.

Botanical themed tags

Here's some close ups

Twine tied with the Mallard ribbon is a nice touch

The finished tag is really pretty

This next tag features our thread spools which nicely compliment the dress form.

And her last tag is just as lovely

Wednesday Design Team Inspiration featuring Jingle

It's time to play with some of the new stuff again! I cannot tell you HOW. MUCH. FUN. I have been having with some of these fabulous new designs! I have three cards to share with you today and I think you are going to love them!

Let's start with a treat! How about some ice cream?

Life ... How Sweet it is!

For this card I began by creating the base of the card from cardstock. I then trimmed the patterned paper panel (with just a *touch* of vanilla to it!) to size and adhered that. I trimmed a white cardstock panel, stamped the sentiment, tied on the twine, and then added the adorable Soft Serve Ice Cream brads to my card. I LOVE these brads! SO cute! I then stamped the cherry on scrap, colored it and cut it out and adhered it with foam tape, finishing it off with a bit of diamond glaze.

And since you are all hungry now, let's check out a fun card with the Cherry and Strawberry brads AND the adorable fruity ribbon that coordinates with them!

Sweet As You

For this one I created card base from black cardstock and then stamped the white panel as the background. (Stamps from Skipping Stones Design). I then added a simple white strip, inked the edges, and added the ribbon and bow over that. I die cut the sentiment panel, stamped the sentiment, and added the brads, adhering the sentiment panel with foam tape.

Sweet as you (detail)

And finally, something a bit more 'tweet' than 'sweet'! :-) For this one I pulled out the absolutely ADORABLE Mini Bird Brads along with a super pretty white and silver pearl brads.

Have a Tweet Birthday

For this one I created the cardstock card base and then layered the patterned paper panel over that. I die cut the birdhouse (Quickutz) and added the outlines with a pen. I then attached the tiny bird brad and smiled huge because he just makes me happy. Just say'n. HA! I tied on some pretty ribbon and then removed the prongs from the pearl brad and adhered that with a glue dot!

So, my Eyelet Outlet Loving friends, there you go! Some super fun cards to create with the brand new designs! *LOVE!!!!* I hope you have a super sweet, or perhaps a super TWEET day!

Monday Design Team Inspiration featuring Kristine

Hi Eyelet Outlet friends!  It’s Kris here today hoping to inspire you with some projects using a variety of the newest brads.

My first project is a gift set featuring some pretty mermaid brads.

This coordinating gift set includes a treat container, a gift card box, and a card.

I found the mermaid brads to be perfect embellishments for the flower centers!

I made this simple treat container by creating a 3x3x2 inch box bottom, placing a lollipop-filled cello bag inside of the box, and sealing with a ribbon-tied bag topper.

This is a 4x4x1 inch pizza box!  It’s the perfect size to hold a gift card (or a piece of jewelry, etc.).  I used this tutorial to make the box.

Another pretty little mermaid adorns this matching card.  I left it sentiment-free so that I could use the set for any occasion.

I love these sweet little winking owl brads!  They come in the cutest colors.

I used two of the pastel owls as flower centers for this friendship card.

Aren’t they sweet little critters? :)

My last project for today features these delightful ice cream brads.

I made this little purse with the idea of using it as a holder for a gift card to the ice cream shop… a quick and simple yet fun way to brighten someone’s day!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Remember to link up your Eyelet Outlet projects to our Facebook page so that we can admire them!

Wednesday inspiration from Shemaine

Hello there! It's Shemaine here posting some inspiration on the Eyelet Outlet blog. Today I am sharing a fun way to decorate cupcakes with our fun Birthday Sock Monkey brads.

These little guys are so fun!

And make perfect party favors or Cupcake decorations!

Here's how you can make these fun decorations too!

Step 1.
cut your cardstock at 1 X 12

Step 2
Use a scoring board to score your 1 x 12 inch piece of paper every 1/3 inch

Step 3
now punch a piece of paper to secure the back of your rosette with hot glue

Step 4
Hold the center while you apply glue to the punched piece

Step 5
place the punch over the center and now it's secured with glue

Step 6
Use the Martha Stewart medallion punch for your Sock Monkey decor

Hot glue skewers to the back and tie some of the coordinating ribbon and you're set to use these as table decor or cupcake toppers!

Have a great day!
